Sorry, sorry. Being on this boat is starting to get to me. It never stops moving, back and forwards. Side to side, it's making me fucking sick. There's nothing new, THERE AREN'T EVEN ANY FUCKING CLOUDS. If it wasn't bad enough Coby looks like he's going to cry in fear at every fish that gets within fifteen feet from the boat. And then Luffy's constant whining for meat. It's really starting to grade on my and no matter how much booze I drink it ain't getting any better.

You know I heard drowning was one of the worst ways to go. If it wasn't for that I'm sure the bottom of the ocean would look a lot more appealing right now. If it wasn't for Coby's insistence that we were only about 2 hours from shore really think I may have went insane. But I digress, why, we'll because that's not even the worst part. Do me a favor and guess how long I've been on this boat. Go on I've got plenty of time. No, not gonna even try. Well I suppose I'll tell ya. I know both Coby and my 4 year old Captain can tell I'm about to snap. They already moved as far away as they could from me when I stopped talking and just stared at them. With my now cold dead eyes. Even now as he's steering us the last few stretches he shivers when I breathe too loud.

"Hahahahaha" I suddenly started laughing as soon as the mechanical sound dinged in my ear.

"Ohhh god he's finally cracked, I'm gonna die. He hasn't stopped stopping staring at me the whole way here." Coby whined as he tried to row the boat faster to get away from me. You now I'm not even gonna say anything about that.

"Shishishi, he won't kill you Coby, don't worry. Beat you black and blue and leave you in the ocean isn't impossible though. Shishishi I'm sure he's fine, probably thought of a funny joke. Just get us to the island before he changes his mind though." Luffy tries to pep talk Coby by making matters worse. Ahh not my problem hopefully it gives him the incentive to go faster.

As I look through the lists in front of me. I quickly look through the first store. At first glance most of the older guns are cheaper the anything more advanced. For example an Enfield Mk 1 from 1880 costs around 11,250 berries but a box of 20 rounds is 10,500 berries so it's not very feasible. On the other hand a brand new Barrett m82 would cost 765,000 but do to inflation and the system that doesn't want me to have something that powerful yet, costs 569million berries. So I don't think I'm getting that until after sky island or I pull a really lucky token.

Next we have materials and ingredients. Both of these categories are pretty straightforward. They both have the most basic of stuff from let's say a copper ingot for 10,000 berries to a 5 foot copper sheet for 20,000. And in ingredients you can buy the base such as let's say corn or sugar for a decent price or already have it premade into a mash for an extra cost.

And lastly we have the miscellaneous which only has 5 items a month, one from each category of importance. It goes common-uncommon-rare-mythical-legendary, and each area has a fixed price. For common the fixed price is 100 thousand, for uncommon it's 1million, rare is 100million, mythical is 500million and legendary is 2 billion. Oh and since I'm sure your wondering yourself the item in the common slot is a pack x50 shuriken while the uncommon is an unclaimed Nichirn sword.

So I guess that's all kind of neat. I went on ahead and got a box of 400 rounds for my rifle. I also decided to get 4 more magazines for each of my guns for 16 thousand 2,250 each for the Fedorov and 1,500 for my 1911. So that leaves me with 34 thousand for a rainy day.

And thankfully the combination of gambling and waisting money took long enough for Coby to get us to a boat dock. As soon as we touched land he promptly fell flat on his face in exhaustion.

"Come on now Coby. How are you going to be a great marine if you can't even paddle a boat for nine hours straight." I say to him with a shit eating grin just plastered on my face.

"Shishishi, no need to be mean John. He tried his best. Even if he's weaker than a baby. Shishishi." Luffy gave him hope and dragged it in the mud behind him as we walked through town. "Well let's go find this Zoro, If there strong I'll get them to join my crew."

And as he said that with his iconic smile, the play by play started as it would in the show. Luffy would ask about Zoro then Coby about the marines or Morgan. And the crowd near us would rear back in fear. It was actually kinda funny seeing that in real life. Well we will help them out either way m. So I don't really feel bad about laughing at their misfortune.

As we made our way to the bar I didn't see the name of, with me giving my two cents to the convention when I felt necessary, I finally tuned in fully to the conversation. When Luffy ends his talk with a little girl who looks like she was hurt not to long ago. When I heard something that throws me through a loop.

"Zorro isn't evil, she saved my from that monster dog. Helmeppo let that beast loose and it tried to kill me, she saved my life and I won't let anyone say anything bad about her." Just as the little girl finished saying her piece, her mom dragged her to the kitchen away from people hearing her further.

'D-did she say she. Ohh dear god in heaven, Zoro's a girl it this world, I'm in a fan fic I just know it . You bastard ROB why. Why couldn't it just be normal, what else did they change.' As I'm currently having a mental break down from that revelation, Luffy seems to come to a decision.

"She sounds great, come on John let's go meet her. I want her in the crew. Shishishi."

On our way out I heard something that made me realize I'm already causing change to the canon.

"Poor girl, she must not have heard they've announced that women's execution." Said npc #1.

"I know, I heard one of the marines say that everyone has to meet at the yard by mid day. Poor girl she was just trying to help. She doesn't deserve that." Said bystander #2.

As I go to tell Luffy we need to hurry, he cuts me off before I even get started "John. Lethal if necessary. Let's go." There was no laughing I had become accustomed to when he talks, just a calm deadpan that would have sent shivers down my spine if I didn't know what type of man he was.

"Understood Captain. I've got your back."

Was all I said as I pulled out my Fedorov and two magazines ready for what's to come.

'Maybe me being here is changing a lot more than I thought.' I couldn't help but think with a grim face. 'Either I'll have to be more careful from now on or be ready to face what I might accidentally change. Let's just hope I don't screw up too bad.'
