SAM POV

When I got home I quickly sneaked back to my room and started recalling the events that took place today.

"He has the bluest eyes I had ever see. Urrg shut up" I said to that tiny voice in my head while palming my face.

"He will stop talking to me when he finds out" I said with tears in my eyes.

Normally I don't have friends after shaina my classmate whom I thought was my friend exposed my family secret nobody wanted to mingle with me anymore, they saw me as a bad luck nerd .

My name is Samatha maxwell am 13 years old. Am the only child of my parents. After my birth my mother had postpartum infection that almost led to her death so she was advised to forfeit having another child in order to avoid life threatening situations.

As the only child of my parents I was the center of their focus. I never lacked nor want because I had everything at my fingertips. I was always the first to have any new trends in the town. I attended the best school in the town. Reason being that they wanted to give me the best only.

Everything was so smooth and beautiful on my family, till a tragic event destroyed it.

On Thursday afternoon which was a day before my 11th birthday, my mum and the servants were trying to arrange and decorate the house for birthday.

I was on th sofa eating my favorite chocolate while watching the television.

"Zzzzzzz" the house phone suddenly rang out beside me.

"Mum? You've got a call". I yelled.

"Am coming sweetie".she replied.

Be she could reach the phone stop ringing.

"Zzzzz" it rang for the second time and my mum quickly picked the call.

"Hello please am I speaking with Mrs Maxwells?.a lady voice behind the voice asked.

" yes am Mrs Maxwells how may I help you?.

"Mrs Maxwells you are required to come to Peace And Well-being Hospital,your husband is been admitted, he was a fire victim".

"Mom! I screamed when I saw my mom falling down and she started convulsing.

" Mom? Mom? Can you hear me?.

"Hello? Hello Mrs Maxwells?

I suddenly heard a voice a voice from the phone I quickly picked it up.

" Hello who are you? I asked.

"This is 911".

" okay am Sam and my my is on th floor and she is convulsing, c..can you come and help her?

" okay can you give me the address of your house? we will be there in a jiffy".

"Yes". I quickly gave her our house address.
