Chapter 6 - Its A Deal

Xander's POV

" Hindi ka pa ba nagsasawang ibenta ako sa iba ? Sawang sawa nako mama, pagod na pagod nakong sumunod sa isang bagay na ayaw ko naman. "

I heard her say that. She's already suffocated, she's been out of focus this few hours thats why i wanted her to go home and rest. Shall i send her home?

" Shall we sign contracts Mr. Prieto? " - were here at the conference room pala. Meeting with Mr. Sandy Lemuel and we discussed about doing business with them. Since were a very known publishing company, they wanted us to publish one of their books. Actually its an inspirational book that so called " There's a blessing in waiting". And i think its a waste if we dont let others explore it. So we agreed into it.

" My pleasure doing business with you Mr. Lemuel " - And we do sign contracts. After two and a half hours of conversation, we said our goodbye's to each other.

I headed directly to my office and as expected she's busy doing some paper works. She does not even notice my presence staring at her. And guess what, I really hate this feeling!

I enter the room without her noticing me. I still had a lot to do, This is my very first day as the CEO but as i see how mess my table is with those papers and ....

" coffee ? " - A coffee on my table? with a heart sticky note on it. This is very girly, i bet she's the one who put it here, because Mr. sanchez isnt the type to put a heart note on my coffee. Dont you think so?

i wanted to say thank you. i should call her.

" Ayen? can you come here pls. "

She's coming. *dug dug* *dug dug* (thats the sound of a heart beat)

Why am i like this? That was just a lie, naaawa lang ako sa kanya. thats why i wanted to help her, thats all. There nothing to do with me, i just hated when i see a girl, crying. I just cant stand it thats why on that time, i lied. sinakyan ko lang naman yung trip niya. And today, ganun padin ang nararamdaman ko sa kanya. Awa!

" Do you need anything Sir ? "

" i just ----- "

** kring kring **

That call interupted what i was going to say. She rejected the call.

" Im sorry sir "

" No No. It's Ok, what im saying is------ "

** kring kring **

" Just answer it Ayen " - She's going to reject it again, kaya inunahan ko na.

" Sorry sir, i'll be right back po. " - And i heard her say mama. Mukang, nanay niya yung tumawag at mukang alam ko na kung bakit siya tumatawag.

** kring kring **

" Yes Ma " - and i know kung bakit tumatawag din si mama.

" So how's your first day son? "

" Its fine ma, its just an ordinary day. "

" So, do you have a girlfriend now? " - are they not tired of bugging me ? kase ako, napapagod nakong marinig yung tanong nila. And i think i know how Ayen feels when her mother is bugging her about having a boyfriend.

Wait ... What If ??

No --No !! That a ridiculuos idea Xander.

But come to think of it, Ayen and I had the same situation and maybe we can set things up. Wala namang mawawala saming dalawa the mere fact that were just using each other as a defense to our own parents. Shall I make a proposal to Ayen? Of course may kasamang kontrata to.

" Son are you still there ?"

" Y-yes ma, im still here. "

" so, do you have a girlfriend? "

" I still dont have ma, But i think i like someone. "

" Really?!!! Then thats good, were coming home after 3days, "

" wait ma, --- " - and she hang up the phone. This is not good! In the first place why did i say that i like someone. I dont even know who that someone is.

(somebody is knocking)

" Sir can i come in? "

" Yeah sure .. "

i see her smiling but that was a fake. I can see it in her eyes, its reddish. Did she cry? Again? This is not healthy, we should do something.

" Im sorry for the interruption Sir, You're saying something earlier ? "

" ahh nothing .. nevermind! "

" Anyway Sir, This were the documents you gave me. There were some revisions so i put some notes into it , you can check it out, pag ok na sir, ibigay niyo nalang po sakin so that i can revise the whole document. " - She's so good in pretending. Shall i grab the opportunity? For her to pretend being my girlfriend and for me pretending being his boyfriend?

" Ayen ?? "

" Yes Sir, You need something ? " - She's seriously looking at me. And it made my heart beat fast. Kinabahan agad ako eventhough hindi ko pa namemention sa kanya regarding my proposal. Based on how i see her personality feeling ko tatanggi siya. Pero let me try first,

" Dont you remember me? "

" What do you mean Sir? "

" Dont you recognize my voice? "

She's thinking, really hard!Kumukunot yung noo niya and i really dont think she remembers me.

" Really ? Its just a month Ayen when we saw each other. The package? "

" Anong package Sir? " - ohmygad! do i have to say it again for her to remember me?

" im Xander po tita, im her boyfriend " - after i say those words, i saw her covering her mouth dahil sa pagkabigla. Her eyes widen, and her face became reddish. Bigla siyang napaatras ng konti. She's just starring at me and I also cant take my eyes off her. This situation were very perfect and i saw her as someone compatible for my plan. actually our plan, no i didnt discuss this yet to her so lets assume that its my plan. And i think this will be very succesful. Should i suggest my proposal?

" H-Hey what are you doing ? " - I was startled when i saw her kneel in front of me. with her head bowed down. Inaalalayan ko siyang tumayo kaso nanatili lang siya sa ganung posisyon.

" Stand up Ayen, pls. " - pero, nakayuko padin siya.

Umupo ako para iangat yung ulo niya. And thats the reason why she chooses not to look unto me.

" Im sorry Sir " - sabay takip ng dalawang kamay niya sa pisngi niya. And as i see her face, she's really embarassed. Its reddish!

" Now you remember me? " - at tumango lang siya. Nakatakip padin ang mga kamay niya sa muka niya and she's still kneeling down. I cant stand someone doing this infront of me.

" Stand up Ayen or else, i will announce to everyone what you did to me a month ago. " - In not blackmailing her, I just wanted to scare her.

" p-poo ? " - at bigla siyang napatayo saka siya tumitig sakin.

" Stop calling me Po " - i told her in a very soft voice kase baka mag breakdown na naman siya at kasalanan ko pa.

" Then what should I call you .... Sir ? " - thats ---really tempting. she's looking at me without blinking and i find it very uhm cute? i dont know.

At that moment baka ako yung hindi makapag pigil so i turn around.

" Anyway, i have a proposal. " - nasa gitna ako ng tinatawag na no choice kase sila mama ay uuwi after 3 days. Hindi ako titigilan nun hanggat hindi niya nakikilala yung sinasabi kong gusto ko.

" Is your mother still asking you to meet a guy to be your boyfriend ? " - She's not responding then that means yes. " Do you even have the motive to respond with that? "

" Sir --- you've seen everything. And you've already heard every single detail about it. " - Tumingin ulit ako sa kanya kase nag iba yung timpla ng boses niya. She cant even lift her head.

Umupo ako sa may sofa.

" Take a sit Ayen. I'll discuss this proposal. And its up to you if your going to accept it or not, i'll respect your decision. And dont worry, there will be a contract, and ill discuss this based on your decision. "

" Whats your proposal Sir ? "

" Let me give you a brief background first for you to understand. "

And the naration begin, hindi ko alam kung naiintindihan niya yung kwento ko dahil walang reaction yung mukha niya. I dont even know kung papayag siya because as far as im concern, its been 5 minutes since natapos kong ikwento yung reason ng proposal na to pero wala padin siyang sagot.

" Actually you dont have to answer now, just think about it for the time being and get back to me when your ---- "

" Then lets do it Sir, " -

" Are you sure??" mapapa face palm ka nalang talaga. I didnt expect this, i thought she'll reject the proposal knowing her personality.

" Then kailan start natin Sir ? " -

" Start of what ?? "

" Of being me as a fake girlfriend and you as my fake uhmm Boyfriend ? " - OhGod! I cant stand this cuteness. At dahil dun natawa ako, I cant help myself laughing. And she just stares at me, na parang manghang mangha sa nakikita niya. Actually this is the first time ever na tumawa ako ng ganito sa isang babae, princess is excempted of course. And it made me very comfortable to laugh sa harapan ni Ayen.

" Give me a minute Ayen, i have to make a contract, to make it formal. "

and after a few minutes ...

" Im sorry for that, Do you want me to read whats in the contract? " - i'll let her know the contract first bago ko sagutin ang tanong niya.

" Ikaw masusunod sir.. " -At natawa ulit ako. So sunud sunuran lang siya sa mga sasabihin ko ganun? Evil laugh, sounds interesting.

" Ok then.

No.1 - No one is allowed to meet a third party person while the contract is still valid.

No.2 - If the parents are around, both parties must show that they're very inlove with each other.

No.3 - Endearment is not necessary, its up to the both parties.

No.4 - Strictly No kissing, except on the forehead. Skinship is allowed, hug and holding hands will do.

No.5 - This contract will be kept confidential, and last but not the least

No.6 - If there will a breach of contract the penalty will be decided by the other party.

" uhm Sir, pano dito sa office? " - i've thought about that already.

" I'll let them know that your my Girlfriend. "

" Poooo ?? Agad agad Sir? "

" Then do you want me to court your first ? "

" H-hndi naman sa ganun Sir, baka lang kasee--- "

" Then I'll do that .. " - It was just a fake courtship so i think i can do it.

" Thats not necessary Sir --- "

" Then do you want them to gossip about how you became my girlfriend? "

" Pano kung magtanong padin sila Sir ? kung pano tayo nagkakilala. bakit ang bilis mo akong ligawan? mga ganung tanong .. "

" You went to Saint Claire Academy right ? "

" Yes sir.. "

" Then tell them that im your childhood crush "

" Haha seryoso ka Sir ??

" Do you remember someone there named Ken-Ken? " -

" bat mo siya kilala ? " - biglang naging seryoso yung mukha niya. I think tama ang pakiramdam ko.

" Where's my handkerchief? i told you to return it because its important. Do you still have it? " - biglang nanlaki ang mga mata niya nung binanggit ko yung about sa panyo. So its her all along, actually i really dont know, Pakiramdam ko lang but im not so sure about it. But now, its confirmed.

" uhm --- a-ano --ah -- "

" So its a deal then :) My parents will be coming home after 3 days and they wanted to meet you. After office hours, we will be having a dinner at home. And of course you will be meeting my family, --- "

" Sir saglit lang. Pwede bang isa isa po? Hindi ko malunok lahat .. nabubulunan po ako.. " - Is she joking? haha it made me laugh seeing her like that. Natutuwa akong asarin siya lalo pat may maipang aasar na ako sa kanya.

" Anyway, dont be a scared, i'll handle things gently so that you wont be suffocated. :) "

I'll take the consequences, being a fake boyfriend doesnt mean all the things im doing for her is fake, maybe there are some but not all of it.
