A Sign

In the middle of the night after finishing helping Amanda clean up Lucas's birthday leftovers like dishes and stuff, Kylie returned to the International Security Intelligence headquarters, where she worked.

It was already one o'clock at night, she went straight to her group's room and when she opened the door, everyone was asleep. They were resting because tomorrow morning they had to move again to pursue their target.

Kylie knew she should also get a good night's rest as the work would be exhausting, but she didn't want to miss her nephew's birthday. She went into the bathroom to change and then headed to her bed under Marco's mattress.

As she pulled back the covers, she found a small box of chocolates. She took the chocolates and looked at the sticky note attached to the box.
