I'm fully clothed now and in my office, Millie left ten minutes ago.

To be honest, I want to learn about Millie on my own, but at the same time, it's just who I am to have a full background check on everyone in my life, which is how I found out about my mom having a whole new family in Arizona.

I open the email about Chase first.

He's 26, an accountant in Los Angeles, I have his phone number, address blah blah I skim through, but nothing enticing at all, this guy is as boring as a brick wall.

I think for a second, going back and forth with myself on if I should even open the report on Millie but curiosity gets the better of me.

She's 26, born in Bakersfield, moved to San Diego, and went to the University of San Diego. It states where she went to grade school, high school, activities she was involved in, ohh shit high school gymnastics? Fuck me…and pageants?

What the fuck? I could see it though.

The report gives a little history about her parents, nothing major is given though because it's a report on Millie, not them.

Her father, Steven Hill, was chief of police and deceased only two months ago. I didn't know it was that recent.
