Only 70 chapters in, and this novel has already cemented itself as one of the most refreshing reads I've picked up in a long time. The biggest standout is the main character. He thinks. He observes. He weighs his options before committing to a course of action, and it makes every decision he takes feel earned and satisfying rather than convenient. The power system, while not yet fully unveiled, already shows a lot of promise. What little we've seen already feels internally consistent and thoughtfully designed, and I'm genuinely excited to see how it expands as the story progresses. Pacing-wise, the novel walks a fine line and nails it. Nothing feels rushed, but nothing drags either. The combat sequences deserve special mention. The battles are detailed without becoming exhausting, and the techniques are explained clearly enough that you actually understand what's happening and why it matters. All of this at chapter 70. If the story maintains this quality — or better yet, builds on it — this could easily become something truly special. Highly recommended for anyone who values smart storytelling and a protagonist who actually uses his brain.
