. In my opinion, the authors review of their own work does not do this book justice… this is more than just dark romance, the world building is extensive and the plot is genuinely creative. But even better than that, the author truly captures the dynamic of a strong female lead and you can feel every single stage of her growth, like in your bones. If you want to read a novel where the female lead doesn’t just find “strength in forgiveness,” this book is for you. I’m enjoying the ride of Hilns vengeance, the weight she carries and Fashire dealing with the weight of his irredeemable and unforgivable actions while they navigate a fate that’s tied together (despite their protests) in a enemies to slightly less than enemies and sorta lovers dynamic.

I doubt this will really get seen anyway. This is a dark fantasy romance. If you're looking for anything creative with a stand out plot that balances a complicated relationship, tension, and the higher stakes of a world ending threat looming in the background, you might like this. I made sure the narration is simple and easy to follow, so nothing here should confuse you at least.
