Few hours later, the police arrived to kai's house to report the incident to his mother

as soon as she heared the doorbell, Shiley headed to open

"madam your son, kai smith... "

Shiley couldn't hear what the cop said next as she was getting crazy flashbacks from the day when her beloved husband passed away.

She then grabbed the cop by the collar thoughtlessly

-shiley: "w-WHAT HAPPEND TO MY SON OFFICER?!"

The police officer was taken by surprise but still understood why she reacted that way

"he was arrested for killing jay Walker and sezar Julien. But he was taken to the hospital for now because he was badly injured"

Her eyes widened as she let go of the cop

-shiley: "killing... jay? Kai would never...

(Actually im not sure if I can confidently defend him and say that he'd never do such thing. He's my son but.. can I really look this man in the eyes and deny it?)"

*The hospital*

Matthew was in shock, he didn't believe the reason kai was taken to the hospital.

And because He wasn't allowed to go inside and see him he got his phone and called someone from his contacts with the name "Charlie".

-Charlie: "Yooo! Matthew!? You didn't call me in ages. What's good man?"

-Matthew: "charile, you in town?"

Charlie could tell that there was something wrong from how matthew sounded while talking

-Charlie: "No, but i can take the next flight if there's something serious"

-Matthew: "yes come back, i wanna hire you"

-Charlie: "what did you do? And how? You hated my work techniques"

-Matthew: "not me.. jhon's son.. it's a long story"

So many hours later, Charlie got to town and met up with Matthew.

They finished the official transactions making Charlie Kai's official lawyer.

And so, he was allowed inside the hospital's room where Kai was staying.

Once he got in, Charlie called Matthew as they agreed and passed the phone to Kai.

-Kai: "who're you..? Who's on the pho-ne..?"

-Charlie: "I'm charlie, Matthew's friend and this is Matthew speaking"

-Matthew: "Kai! Kai can you hear me!??

you'll be okay son, don't be afraid. There's nothing to be afraid of.. You were only defending yourself, There's nothing wrong with that!"

Kai quickly took the phone from Charlie's hand once he heard Matthew's voice and said with a fearful tone

-kai: "m-matt!-"

He looked at charlie then took back what he was about to say and asked instead

"Can I trust this man?"

-Matthew: "that's your lawyer Kai! You can totally trust him."

-Kai: "Matthew! I need to tell you something!"

-Matthew: "I'm not allowed to see you, tell me through the phone Kai."

Kai: "it wasn't- self defense.." he muttered

-Matthew: "what do you mean? Rony told the police about what happened kai. It wasn't your fault"

-Kai: "I.. killed them.. both of them because.. they raped mina, I.. because of them Daniel is.."

Matthew took a seat in the corridor and layed back on the chair as he felt his face muscles relax and his legs go numb.

-Matthew: "what?!"

-Kai: "Rony and I made all that story up.. matthew i don't wanna go to jail, Please do something.. i wanna be with you all! I- i wanna see my mom and Daniel again matthew please!"

Kai started crying and pleading as he realized what he did, He thought for the first time what might happen if his plan didn't work.

"Matthew i'm sorry! I'm sorry.. I've always troubled you, and you've taken care of me my entire life without making me feel like a burden and i feel so ashamed asking you this but please! Might this be the last time i act rashly.. please get me out of this matthew.."

-Matthew: "Hey, i never made you feel like a burden because you're not you silly boy.."

He put his hand across his forehead and took a deep breath

"Kai.. stick to your plan, never tell the truth to anyone, if i found any gaps in Rony's story I'd take care of that okay? You won't get imprisoned.. I won't let that happen, you're my-"

Before finishing his words, they got interrupted by the police officer entering the room

"Sir, your time is up. Please head out with me"

Charlie walked off feeling so bad for kai and how things went downhill real quick.

He went to the corridor and found Matthew walking back and forth while thinking to himself

(-Matthew: "what is going on!? For mina? Why?.. he's just like jhon, He can't stand injustice but his ways are different.. He- kai.. killed two of his classmates!!?

I really don't have time to get a better understanding of the situation.. I gotta move")

#Later on, Matthew's house#

-Charlie: "so Jhon's son murdered two rapists and made it look like self defense?"

-Matthew: "how?! I really don't understand.."

-Charlie: "Rony simply handed over the gun to Kai.. they didn't fight or resist or anything.."

-Matthew: "what about Rony's fingerprints?"

-Charlie: "he was wearing gloves"

-Matthew: "they even thought about such details..?"

-Charlie: "causing chaos in the garage to make it look like a fight had happened for real.. I mean no offense, I'm actually impressed but Kai.. has a criminal mind"

-Matthew: "can you stop calling him that?!

You didn't change one bit.. you still love criminals don't you?"

-Charlie: "smart ones yes.. but honestly speaking, I've been studying this case for hours now.. this is perfectly made up, flawless, a masterpiece. Proving him innocent wouldn't be a problem."

Charlie looked at Matthew who was deadly silent and had an annoyed expression on his face as he continued making him even more annoyed

"He- he is sick.. this is literally insane!"

-Matthew: "CHARLIE!!" He shouted

-Charlie: "okay okay I'm sorry.."

He remained silent for a moment then opened his mouth again

"But seriously I can't keep it to myself, he's not okay in the head Matthew. For a man his age to be this.."

Matthew suddenly threw his phone at Charlie

"Ouch!! This hurts!"

-Matthew: "that will shut you up"

Charlie then looked at the files between his hands again, and after looking more thoroughly at the pictures that were taken from the crime scene, he noticed something

-Charlie: "Sezar's body was moved from the place that he originally fell dead in.."

-Matthew: "what!?"

Matthew walked towards charlie and leaned over to see the pictures

-Charlie: "the blood marks.. the way they're wiped off on the floor and they way they dried,

That indicates that the body was pulled from its place "

-Matthew: "oh- what would we do about that?"

-Charlie: "who's Angelo's lawyer?"

-Matthew: "I don't know him.. I heard his name is Mert Firat."

-Charlie: "oh damn.. it's okay.. if Kai and Rony denies that they moved the body till the very end.. The court won't just ignore every other evidence that goes our way and only care about this one.. this proves nothing."

-Matthew: "why didn't Kai tell us?"

-Charlie: "maybe he couldn't remember.

Maybe Rony did it and Kai didn't know about it."

-Matthew: "why would he do that? Is he trying to frame him?"

-Charlie: "No.."

Charlie took a moment to think then said

"According to the story they are going to tell in the court.. Sezar dies in the position that he was found in.. but Kai in reality shot him while he was here"

He pointed at the picture

"Standing next to Jay.. if they didn't move the body their story would be suspicious."

-Matthew: "this is crazy.."

-Charlie: "told you.."

Matthew looked down at charlie and was surprised by the wide crazy smile Charlie had on his face

-Matthew: "Charlie.. this isn't funny.."

-Charlie: "uhm.. no.. sorry.. I don't think it's funny I'm just excited."

-Matthew: "I'm going to need you.. Angelo will definitely try to ruin my school's reputation and blame everything on its system.."

-Charlie: "I'll be ready.."
