It was good enough in the early chapters but when you got into the locked ones the quality dropped drastically. Spelling and grammatical mistakes, characters acting totally unlike themselves to suit the plot, and major gaping plot holes. It seems like author needs a proofreader of some kind. Thats objective flaws with the quality of the writing.
The more personal issues I have is that the story went in a very very odd direction in terms of plot. Almost changed genres and not in a good way, and by the end theres no major character growth he just says “alls well that ends well”.
And another thing, I know we write what we know and the author is free to express themselves and who they are in their writing, but Im not a fan of shoving current events and social crap into the books, I want to come her and forget the flaws in our world not have them shoved in my face in heavy handed self congratulatory remarks.
I thought it had potential, I was thoroughly disappointed.
