4 Chapter 4

"ugh, what happened?" I rub my hand in my face trying to remove some of this headache that is forming

'what the...' I take a good look at my hand, it's not like I remember a hand of a guy in his mid-twenties, the hand I am seeing right now it like a hand of a chubby teen 'oh f*ck now I get what death was saying about giving me a new body'

*sigh*

"Hey, are you feeling ok?" Supergirl comes closer and put her hand in my shoulder

"Yeah, I only feel a little groggy" I take a look around me and I see a group gangsters in the floor all of them beaten up and groaning from the pain, I can feel how my headache is growing stronger by the moment until is unbearable, then an influx of memories comes to my head...

I am the new guy in town, Thomas my parents and I move out to Gotham city, my parents are saying that for a new business, it seems a little weird, but oh well

My parents were the owners of a little business in Chicago, it was a classic Italian food shop, it wasn't a big business but it was good.

According to my parents, an old rich uncle in Gotham was feeling lonely, his daughter and granddaughters don't visit him anymore and he wants some company, he calls us and offer us an apartment and some business for stay with him for some months.

My parents agree and we start moving, a days later finally I met my uncle Howard, he was an engineer that have some patents in something about a car, with the money he started to gain he started to move the money. invest in some business, some stocks, slowly he started to make more and more money.

Uncle Howard is nice enough, he just wanted to someone accompany him in the breakfast l, dinner and to make some chit-chat, nothing more, I guess that when you have money you can do whatever you want with it.

He enrolled me in Gotham City High School that I have to attend in one week.

I am washing my face in the bathroom, then I take a good look at me, a 16 years old chubby teen, unruly black hair and amber eyes

I wasn't ugly, it's just I don't take care too much of my appearance, sometimes some guys try to bully me, I ignore them, but sometimes that is not enough

"Ok Thomas, new school, new life, new appearance, and a new attitude"

I make the decision to start to work out the same day and the same time explore the center a little

Now that I live with my parents in front of the finger river a few blocks from Robinson Park, I start to jog towards the park.

When I am running around the park a gang tried to assault me, I try to run with all my strength, but I was already tired from all the previous training. They threw me to the floor and held me there

"Easy, easy there boy" *chuckles* "we were only wanted to rob you a little, but you ran, so now we are gonna have some fun with you hehehehehe!!"

"nononono Help! HELP!!!" I screamed with everything I could. It never happened to me to be in this kind of situation, I guess there is a first time for everything.

The next thing that I know is that a red and blue blur comes in my direction. In that precise moment is when I have a heart attack

This can't be more embarrassing, Supergirl and Batgirl in front of me and the only thing I show them is how pathetic I am, I can fell my face heating up

"Hey, " Supergirl squeeze my shoulder and shake it a little 'huh?' I look at her "You didn't answer me"

"Oh yeah, thanks for rescuing me, i really appreciate that "I rub the bridge of my nose whit my finger

"hehe" she smiles brightly "no prob, that's what i do" she points with her tump in her chest

"i guess it was not the time to explore the center *sigh*, anyway i think that i owe you one"

"What? no! i did this because i like to fight criminals and do the right thing" uh oh she's angry at me now

"nonono, i mean..."I scratch the back of my head slightly nervous "look if someone saves me I would like to return the favor" i can feel how she is piercing me with her look "i didn't mean like fighting a big bad guy for you, at least for now, I mean something like hanging out, eat something, drink a coffee, what do you say?"

Supergirl crosses her arms while i fell the temperature drops a few C°

i quickly waved my hands in front of me "No, i just wanted to meet someone, i am new in the town, it's just a coincidence that the first person that i meet here is you"

'why i am so f*cking nervous?! Besides that the fact that she can crush me like a mosquito, Ah! i know f*cking hormones!! I hate to be a teenager again, damn it!!'

"look, i get it if you don't wanna, it was just an idea" I shrug my shoulders "Thanks for saving me, it was a pleasure, bye"

Supergirl only stays there looking me intensely her arms in akimbo, Batgirl waved her hand to me.

Who could fool?! Of course that i want a date with Supergirl, she is super hot, *sigh*

"*sigh* Ok, a coffee you say?"

i stop dead end and look at her "really?!" she nods "ha ha ha!! I'll call you and coordinate when, ok?!"

And i start to run like a school girl from the emotion

"Hey at least leave me a number!! or your name..." Supergirl tried to call Thomas but he, in his emotion didn't hear her "Hey Barbara, do you think i did the right thing"

"chuckles* who knows? at least he is funnier than Dick and cuter" Kara look at Barbara like 'really nigga?' "Here" she hands a little device "i put him a tracker, if you want to meet him again, you only have to press this button"

"In what moment you put him a tracker?"

"At the moment you were angry with him, and I am not going to take it back, i know that you think is wrong if you use it or not is your decision"

*sigh* kara resigns herself and put the tracker in her pocket "let's go back before my cousin starts to worry"
