I think it's hilarious that his meeting with Lily and Snape went just like canon, because it also kind of fits. James here is acting awful, true, but he's also a kid making his first real friend in both lives. It'd be interesting to see if he changes his attitude once he realizes that the girl he offended is his "destined partner" from the books
This chapter was disappointing, knowing the Canon, and not knowing Sirius, then he acts like a pureblood, insulting, looking like the people he hates so much, it makes me think that he is turning into the bully James Potter, the one who severe Snape I tell Harry Potter, a true equal to his previous family, too bad, I liked this James so much until now, I thought he would be different, well, you can't change destiny.
