I don’t like when self-inserts use their previous life’s attachments to severely influence their current’s life’s decisions. I see this a lot with China fics. They go all “China numba wan!” and it becomes a propaganda piece. I’ve seen much fewer Indian fics, but I have seen quite a few. Usually, it’s them buying up real estate, introducing technology, and elevating the country. When in reality, the self-insert should be uninterested in a foreign country, as it’s a needless distraction. If you were going this route, perhaps you should have just made the character start in India and keep the fic in India? That would be okay from my perspective because it’s honest to the intention of the fic rather than sneaking it in the backend. There’s an expectation when you’re starting a fic, in let’s say America, that the fic will stay there. Is there a reason you didn’t keep the fic originating and staying in India?
Dude, I honestly love your story. I am very supportive of HFY and would love to see humanity becoming the humanity of the dark age of technology from Warhammer 40k or The Culture. Tuf Voyaging, Transcendence, Star Trek, and Dune are examples of humanities I want to see become the greatest race in the universe.
Overlooked aspect of the super soldier serum, it also increases intelligence. Taking inspiration from other works (NZT-48 from limitless, CPH4 from Lucy) main character could create a version of super soldier serum that boosts intelligence more and distribute it to entire country to supercharge research speed.
While I don't really know much about Marvel Comics, I know OAA is the god, right? and he is the one who created the Marvel Multiverse inside his own reality, like he is the one who created everything, including the laws of physics. then, just like speed force from the DC Multiverse, it wouldn't work outside Marvel, and again, you can't beat a god with his own rules. BTW, I'm not saying FF is bad; I'm just curious, like, is there omniverse technology that works in every reality, or have comics said anything about it? Just like how Ironman should die or get injured by flying at speeds like that, I just like how they justify how science works in comics by just saying, Well, God made it so you can manipulate reality like your plaything with science. Thank you for the chapter.
