Make Love, Not Warcraft: Game of Thrones

My name is Cyrus Anders, you may not recognize by name or even my face if you had seen me, but you most likely know me. I wasn't a voice actor or anything, no I was famous for my characters and skills in playing an online game. World of Warcraft.

I began playing since its beta release, and within minutes of playing I was hooked.

I felt I had found my calling, I dropped all other games I was playing before hand and disregarded any future games. Only purchasing the expansion packs Blizzard released expanding on the game and increasing the level caps.

I got so into it I made one of every class just to learn each classes like the back of my hand.

I did so not only because I enjoyed playing so much, but also to learn each class so when I fought against that class I knew the ins and outs of my opponents.

Knowing the enemy class just as much as your own was the best way to increase your chances of winning.

Before I knew it I had played so long and built every character to the top of each expansion. Gaining fame through tournaments and in-game events.

I was even contacted by the creator's of South Park requesting to use my in-game character for a mini-series. Because of that many believed I was a fat bald man behind the screen as South Park had portaid me, I didn't mind cause I thought it was hilarious.

After that series aired worldwide I had to deal with constant friend requests and duels, so that was quite annoying.

Even trying to just relax and go farm for some materials, I found myself being attacked by hordes of the other faction.

Even though they attacked in groups, my skills and equipment made it damn near impossible for them to beat me, thus exacerbating the attacks.

Hell as a marketing gimmick, Bilzzard decided to turn me into a world boss. Did I get upset? Sure for all about 5 seconds, I enjoyed the challenge and the hate. It only fed me to get even better.

Sure I lost here and there, I mean being attacked by multiple people with gear close to or similar there's not much you can do but take out as many as you can. Most of the time tho my skills and insight into my enemies won the day.

So enough about me, I guess your wondering why I am even going on about myself and my deeds. Well to be honest, I'm not sure myself. I woke up here after going to bed after another successful heroic raid, I woke up in this blank space.

So to keep myself from going stark raving made I felt the need to narrate my life to noone in particular. I have tried to pinch myself but I no longer have a body. I've lost the abs and muscles I worked hard to keep and maintain.

I have floated about in this void for I don't even know.

But not all is lost, I have moved in a direction that is constantly calling me towards it. Telling me that my wish can be made a reality. So I'm hoping that this isn't a trick by some soul eating entity, but in case it is that why I decided to tell my story before completing my journey.

Wish me luck and a good reincarnation if its a thing.

Now to move forward and find out my purpose for being here.

Entering into a green portal that was a few feet on the ground, I am welcomed by a white room with nothing but a desk and two chairs.

One of which sits Morgan Freeman in all his glory. A welcoming smile on his face as he motions to the empty seat in front of his desk.

Stunned by what I was seeing, I slowly floated over to the chair, unsure of what to do since I had no body I decided to just place my floating orb self on the seat anyway.

After setting down and finally looking at the name plate on the desk which simply had the name ROB on it.

As soon as I am settled in the seat ROB begins, "I guess your wondering what you're doing here, well allow me to give it to you straight. I find you highly entertaining and decided to end your life early due to the entertainment got old after a while since it was just repeated. So I decided to reincarnate you somewhere new to change it up a bit."

Did I just hear that right? Did ROB who looks like Morgan Freeman really kill me for his enjoyment? Is this even real?

"Yes it real and yes I killed you for fun but I'm not Morgan Freeman. I just look like this because this is what you expect to see. I dont have a form you would understand so to make things easier I appear the way you can understand. Besides to make it up to you I decided to grant you your in-game character that you took the world by storm in."

As soon as I beard that all the irritation and anger instantly vanish.

"Wait which character? I had all 12 classes. So do I get all 12?"

"Oh good question, how about I really make this interesting. You can chose to have access to all, you will get 12 class points per level, however if you drop a class you will still receive the same 12 class points but it will allow you to distribute more points into the classes you chose to keep. Sound good?"

Liking what I was hearing so far I decided to see how far I can go with this.

"What about race? I had quite a few I used too."

Seeing the ROB ponder a bit on my question I had hoped to get my pick.

"Well I was planning on you being human since thats the only race besides the undead where I was going to send you, I can agree to 3 other races out of the ones you had made but the base will be human. But in exchange you will lose all memories of your life you just lived, you will only know your classes and professions as well as anything related to your character."

I quickly voice my agreement, "I accept your deal so how do I make my choices?"

Seeing a blank paper appearing in front of myself ROB informed me to just list the classes I will have access to and my racial choices.

"Um before we start, what happens to my gear for the classes I choose? Will I need to wear different gear per class or what?"

"Wow, you have a lot of questions but I guess thats to be expected. Your gear will be changed to accomodate all your classes. So even though it originally was for one class the classes you choose to keep will have their stats added but you will need to chose the design of your choice for that teir set. Once the choice is made all other sets will be absorbed ito the one chosen. And before you ask no the stats wont add together. It will only add the missing stat from the others and will just provide the higher stat. So if one had 100 strength and another 150 after absorbed you would only have the 150 to strength not 250 and if the other piece added to intellect the armor will receive the highest of that stat too. Understood?"

Giving a mental nod of the head, which just caused the orb that represented myself up and down.

I was concerned about having to manage 12 sets of gear if I decided to keep all my classes, which I wasn't but still even having to manage 2 to 3 sets of gear per character was already a pain but was necessary depending on what you had planned for the day.

One for raiding, one for Dungeon and another for Player vs Player. Not including your dual talent tree so most of the time I rolled with 4 sets per character on hand at all times.

"One more question and I'll be ready to choose. What about profession perks will I gain those?"

Seeing the look ROB gave me I might have gone a little overboard.

"No profession perks, I'm already giving you access to additional racial perks due to limiting you to human and I am giving you access to the professions you put effort in which is all of them and you will already have access to the recipes you learned. The only limit will be you will need to level it back up, but once your proficiency is high enough you'll be able to create it without havong to find the recipe or schematics."

"Sounds good to me, seems very fair. Ok I'm ready to choose my classes and races."

Looking at the blank paper in front of myself, the excitement of actually becoming by characters returned.

"No matter the world I'm sent too, it will be a blast. NEWBPWNER FOR LIFE!"
