The truth is that it doesn't seem like enough reason to hate the gods. After all, they gave good things, even if it was random, and they didn't even deny the whim of having a little dragon. Is changing gender the only thing that concerns you? Though it's better than being a rat with a whim. Moreover, surely there's some whim that turns him into a man or strikes a deal with the bird-faced mafia, even if it's dangerous. I don't see the sense in his hatred; I see it more as being a whimsical and ungrateful person. It's an equivalent exchange; they have fun, and he lives the life he wants... It's much better than a W4k god or an external god
