The moment writing feels like a chore that's when you have to change something up because that sort of mentality will ruin all future progress. Glad you're getting to the root of the problem rather than let it fester till you drop the story. It's great but do what feels good for you man.

How long will the hiatus last

You have our complete support mate. This is one of the very very novels I could properly describe as unique, interesting and fun to read,the very things I look for in a book. But pls don't drop it. That will be really sad end to this amazing piece of work. I do have a question tho. You mentioned redoing the arc, i was wondering which all arcs are you deleting?

I personally have preferred the issue over episode in this book I am glad you have decided to go back to it
