You know what author? It would be great if the “game“ wouldn‘t have any civilisation, just pure monsters and animals roaming the plane. Marking that event as year 0. My guess is that the number of players will go up instead of down. They did say that they would transfer everyone "currently" playing VR games into God's Impact. So, once some more people try to log into their VR game of choice, they'll instead be sent to God's Impact. And people usually play for days on end, so it'll probably take a few days for people to realize something is wrong.
