Roan, a teenager with excellent high school academic scores. He was not interested in any field of studies to continue his further studies and decided to dropout from studies, despite the protest from his only remaining family, his grandpa.

Walking back to his home from his usual walk, he bought fast food for two people wrapped in a thin packaging from a small stall .

when he was 4 years old, he started living with his grandpa, he has no knowledge or any memory of his where he knows his both parents.

His grandpa is the only member of his family who is alive and with whom he has been living with since his childhood.

His parents were private academic and died while on a confidential mission, they both were in the same team and thus the end for both of them, this is the extent of his knowledge that he managed to acquire from his now guardian, his grandpa.

well, not like he really missed them or anything.

what he was interested in was actually the job of theirs, the superpowers, the ability to do interesting and mysterious things and how was he so unluckily rare that did he not get the ability of any of them.

Anyone would be curious about the the superpowers , their use and the people who are able to use these superpowers.

'There are two types of academy

1.public

2.private

'Public academy is for normal humans who study, learn an expertise, do a job and live.'

'Private academy is the interest of many, the one which is a kind of army the government has trained to get rid of the beasts coming out of spatial rifts and otherworldly creatures who sneak in illegally on earth.'

'The privates are all superhuman with different abilities exceeding human limits. They train, get stronger and fight for the humanity, just like his grandpa and his dead parents.'

So is a private academy the organization which gives people superpowers?? kind of it does or maybe not?

some have the abilities they are born with and the academy is built to nurture those, the rest?? there are some ways to get superpower, though difficult but there are such methods.

'Normal students don't get admitted in private academy but there are exceptions.'

'Students related to privates can get in through recommendation.'

yup those exceptions are the ones who can acquire some superhuman abilities and thus are able to get into the academy.

Roan always wanted to escape his boring life and enroll as a private's child but his grandpa never agreed to his unreasonable demands.

Roan didn't have any superhuman abilities except for his fitness being double of the normal human, and maybe some good reflexes, and some good looks, and all of his rich parent's money.

Roan reached his home. He walked in the main hall and placed the fast food he got from the stall on the table.

"There you go, your favorite chicken from the third street" he said to the old man sitting on the chair

His grandpa instantly teleported the packed food from table to his lap.

Roan was not surprised seeing this, his grandpa could control space and teleport to outside the planet with little effort, getting a roasted chicken within a meter was nothing magical.

His grandpa savored the taste of chicken and said " I have recommended you to a private academy so no need to pester me".

Roan was to say the least very shocked, he never expected his grandpa who never allowed him to even discuss of the privates to recommend him into the private academy himself, that too even without him pestering about it.

'Maybe the destiny took pity on me and this old man has finally gone senile from eating street chickens bought by me, it was a good decision to buy him free chickens daily' roan laughed giddily.

When he was 9 years old, he wanted to enroll as a private . Having no ability was the least of his concern, he just wanted a way out of this boring school life.

When his grandpa rejected his request to be enrolled in the private academy and even denied him to lend him the financial support of ten million per semester 'stingy old man , who only eats free street chicken', he did not want to continue asking him for permission so he moved out to live alone.

Though he was not successful and his grandpa teleported to him an hour later because he was caught selling his young kidney to get the required funds for his enrollment.

Roan did not lose hope and kept trying his escape to achieve his dream.

He tried spending days hiding in school, hiding in a public library, rushing out of city through public train, and even went to a zone where teleportation was restricted.

But to no avail he was found out and brought back home.

Before even having the struggle to live alone and be worthy of private academy's enrollment, he had to struggle to escape his home.

After 10 or 12 tries his grandpa agreed to recommend him for admission but with a condition.

' if only i knew at that time that all old people are perverts and liars'

Because i the great ROAN, had no superhuman abilities my grandpa provided me with a training sutra to strengthen his body.

If he could get to the level of a Rank C warrior through training alone then his grandpa would allow him to enroll as a private candidate.

'that was a big trap'

I trained while studying. I gained better reflex, more stamina and I even grew stronger than normal humans.

GREAT START

But all of this only helped me touch weakest of Rank E in combat, with none of my stats being of even peak F rank. 

[ Peak of F rank is 19 stats in any of the Strength, Stamina, Agility, and Energy attributes.

A Private with 19 stats in any of these can be called peak F rank. ]

Now , all of sudden when he got permission to enroll, he was more than happy.

"But I never reached Rank C, are you sure I can go" asked Roan.

" I am leaving for a while. It might take an year or two to come back"

"and you will be safe there". replied his grandpa before teleporting to somewhere.

Roan packed his bags , checked for any money his grandpa might have left him or maybe forgot to pick due to dementia ,failed to find any money and got ready to leave for the academy.

When he finally took a step out of the room he remembered something "I don't know the name of the academy I have been recommended to. "

He rushed back inside and searched the main hall, his room , his grandpa's room but could not find anything.

"Was I really tricked by him?" frowned Roan.

When he was in middle of thinking the most slanderous and evil method to spit in chicken, the doorbell rang.

He rushed out to get the door and saw a man 6ft tall with bulky muscles like a giant standing there.

" Sir Robert asked me to help you enroll in academy Mr. Roan" said the man.

" And you are Mr?" asked Roan to get the idea of the man's identity.

" I am Sam , a Rank D from the academy" answered the man.

Roan breathed a sigh of relief after finding out he was not tricked and said " I have packed my bag, let's go".

' he looks rich and has a muscular build , even the dress he is wearing is a formal dress for meeting a superior. Should i ask him if he could lend me some money??' 

Sam nodded and walked in front of Roan.

He took out a blue bead and crushed it.

A blue layer surrounded both him and Roan. Fluctuations in space could be seen. After 2 seconds both of them vanished.

Surrounding changed , Roan appeared in a big room made of glass. Below his feet he could see a 2 meter circular platform shining blue full of energy.

It appeared same as normal teleporters in city but with minor variations. (rich guy, able to use teleporters since his grandpa is a stingy bigshot).

He looked around and saw that the room he was teleported to was made of glass. There were 4 teleporters in a row with a distance of 3 meter between each.

"I did not know people can use teleport through a bead like item" said Roan

his innermind however ' fucking yess, i have struck it rich. he's really rich, he will lend me money if i ask him, for sure he would.'

'how much should i ask him for?? hundred million? no maybe 500 million.'

Sam appeared to be shocked, first he had to personally escort someone to academy which is too much and the person was some guy with no ability yet.

He thought this commoner would at least be shaken from teleport. Even E ranks feel dizzy for a minute. But out of his wildest expectations Roan didn't even react to it, though for some reason the guy was looking at him with sparkling eyes, weird.

He even asked questions about device like he was seeing an animal in zoo and expecting an explanation about it.

" if the teleporter is in 200 km radius, then this device can teleport you there instantly."

"There are some limitations to it. It can only be used 10 to 12 times before being destroyed." explained Sam.

Roan was amazed. But hearing it will be destroyed after some uses made him lose interest.

He and Sam walked out of the teleporter. There were 2 armed guards at the exit. Seeing Sam walk with him the guards just nodded and did not approach them.

Outside the teleporter there were three building with most floors, which stood out the most.

Sam looked at Roan checking out the academy so he started explaining.

"These three building are for students. Left one is for 1st years, middle one is for 2nd years and the last is for 3rd years and some professor."

"You will be allotted a room by academy. Four students in one room is the norm, so you will have three roommates."

"Which year are you in now?" asked Roan.

" I am .." before Sam could finish, he was thrashed by a cannon ball made out of water.

A tall guy with blonde hair looked at Sam with smirk.

"Who is this newbie Sam?" asked the blonde smirking guy.

'Blonde, Tall, Ability aren't these the sign of rich guys??' Roan was giving intense looks at the blonde

"He is Roan , a first year" answered Sam while wiping the water off of him.

"Are you a tour guide now? Showing a kid around the academy" blonde guy walked to Roan and touched his chin to move his face left & right.

"You better not touch him John, Principal personally sent me to pick him up" sternly warned Sam.

John who was about to turn Roan's face around stopped. He stared at Sam and asked " Who is he? to be cared for by the principal"

"I do not know his exact identity, but his guardian is his grandpa, an old man named Robert ". said Sam.

"So why don't you introduce yourself to your senior , kid" commanded John.

Roan didn't care and said " Roan white , passed high school this year and now enrolled at Wanton Private Academy as a 1st year"

John's face twitched, he didn't know if Roan was deliberately saying the details he could easily get and not mentioning his relationship with principal.

But this made it clear that he could not do as please with Roan. John stared at Sam for a second then left.

After John left, Sam breathed a sigh of relief.

"Who is he? some high ranker?" asked Roan.

"No , he is just a Rank D like me but his father is a high ranker in military so he has a little power in here." said Sam.

"You should watch out for him. He is trouble for even some second years." warned Sam

"There are some kids from big families too, whom you should watch out for. But most of them don't care for anyone. So it's okay unless you provoke them first."

"They have some special privilege, not much but enough to trouble your whole academic life."

"Watch out for the Main 4 and you will be okay. You should get your dorm key and other necessities from the first floor in 1st year building." said Sam

Roan walked to the 1st year building and met a lady just after entering.

She was sitting at a table with some machines and a computer.

When he walked up to her , she pointed at a gate with scanner.

Roan went through gate scanner. Blue light flashed on his body. A mechanical voice called out his name "Roan White, 1st year".

After hearing that the lady at counter tapped something in a spare watch.

"This is a student watch you have to wear all the time, your allowance, information, dorm key all of them is this watch". said the lady like a computerized machine.
