What happened to the veteran mc? Feels like he just got dumbed down?

?? He should ask questions like are there more areas? Would the death of players affect the next stage? What is the maximum level he can get to in this stage? Are there any rankings? If so are there any rewards for first place. I thought about these in the first one minute of being told he had a helper. I am not a gaming expert. Why doesn't he want to train his inspection? Does he know about backups? What if he enters a minigame where he has no equipment? Can his knowledge fairy help him fight? Can she help him gather equipment or consumables? He should probably think of befriending her more. This nonchalant way of relating to someone who might have all the information and can CHOOSE not to tell you is pretty dangerous in my opinion. He might be heading straight to danger or death and she can choose not to inform him cuz he didn't ask. Apart from that it was an okay chapter. How old is the MC? His intelligence seems to have reduced here.

Please don't do this. I have scene what happens too often when a companion is added to the storyline 9 out of 10 times. The main characters ability to think for himself is dropped down to 10-year-olds and is turned into a bumbling comedy act (DONT DO IT PLEASE)
