So I have a bit of a wild theory I want to share. As of now we still don’t know where the Vampires originally came from and the fact that both them and beasts have a crystal “core” makes me suspicious. I feel like there has to be a connection between them. One guess is that someone artificially created the original vampire leaders and the beasts were the failed result of the experiment. Another guess is that the beasts are failed sub-classes, either from turnings gone wrong or from experiments to create new ones.

why is it I am absolutely convinced Owen is the cleverness leader, and is actually the most informed and infuencal character in this story. he knows all the big secrets of the humans. he knows Quin has a lot of secrets of his own. the sword sounds like a Dao or Jian. I know others are going to google this. but that's the mental image of the sword that I have created in my head. Oscar is a C@#t for not telling us about the third ability of the sword. on a side note I still think it has the potential to be a blood weapon. The sword is made by Richard Eno I would not put it past him if he had mixed in a little vampire magic in the blade.
And of course we’re going into the weekend. My concerns for the fight is that the author has not been kind to families. So many ‘orphans’ Quinn, now Logan, Sil (no real Family), Linda lost her brother, Leo, Erin. Peter’s didny care, now Lyala. Even Fex and Kazz is complicated. So don’t have a good feel for the Daisy sisters and my reservation for Paul/Hayley.
so wait question why do i feel like the beast is still technically alive in the sword and scences him and the fight that the demon tiers had was to see if it was strong enough to mate and it died now the sword requires life energy to stay "alive" and its been taking from Oscar reason why hes seemed weakened we all know quinns a vampire with Bassicly unlimited potential and proboly life unless hes killed due to the system and vampieic nature and i think he'll count as .a prognater or how ever you spell it so unless he sleeps or is killed he won't"die" idk thoughts?
I can already tell that Quinn is going to end up with that Demon weapon as soon as the time permits and he'll nick the Demon tier beast crystal as well to make him self something else awesome. I wonder what abilities Sil will take to help deal with the beast and just how strong he will become in doing so
