John Golden Fang, sole heir of the richest fortune in the world, was addicted to 4X games.
From the young age of 14 years old, due to his addiction, he started to invest loads of money to a number of game companies to fund the development of 4X games.
Year after year several new games were developed using the latest technology available in the market, with new features, greater A.I.s, better graphics and so on but John was still far from satisfied.
There was always something missing. It was always too predictable, too easy, too fake...
And ten years later, on a casual talk to his drunk childhood friend, he may have found his answer.
"G.Fang, you got tons of money, why instead of making games don't you use this money to make it real?"
"Make it real?"
"Yeah! Don't you always say all those games are too fake. No matter how many options they program, its always limited? Then why not make them real? Instead of trying to bring life to the games, try bringing the games to life!"
"And how the hell would I do that?"
"Well, you know, like in those sci fi movies: Contract a bunch of scientists, make real colonizing ships, create some artificial races that follow your command like drones, and emulate all those 4X features in the real world."
"Hmm...."
"Then you can make a few copies of the technology, distribute between players, and choose an empty planet to be your battle ground!"
"Sounds possible, but that would cost a lot..."
"Isn't money the least of your problems?"
.

50 years later, the true story begins...
