Chapter 28

Dean went around the prairie looking for the big pillow slime. He did find a few of them but they were all normal grade. Dean wanted the elite grade and thus he needed to walk more. It was not hard to find the big pillow slime because they did not drop anything unusual and because they were strong thus many people avoided them.

A few more minutes of walking, Dean found the elite grade big pillow slime. He was fully prepared to fight the big pillow slime but he was still nervous. The one that he found was not near any water source, so the big pillow slime cannot use water absorb.

Dean thought that ambushing the slime might be better than fighting face to face. He will gain the upper hand and thus Dean walked slowly towards the big pillow slime and did his best to not alert the big pillow slime.

Once he got near enough the big pillow slime, Dean dashed towards the big pillow slime with his full speed. However, the big pillow slime seemed to have eyes on its back that it used its big pillow it carried to block the attack.

Dean was not surprise with this because the pillow slime he fought before used the pillow on its back to fight too. Dean already predicted this and already prepared his other dagger to stab the big pillow slime body.

Dean's other hand moved fast to stab the big pillow slime. However, the big pillow slime seemed to know what Dean wanted to do and its body lighted faintly. The big pillow on its back suddenly flew towards Dean.

Dean was too closed with the big pillow slime. He did not have enough time to dodge the pillow thrown at him at he got hit by it. Dean was sent flying a few meters away from the big pillow slime. He rolled on the ground a few times and stopped.

Dean was holding his body in pain. He coughed up a bit of blood but it was not serious. Luckily, he had high vitality and endurance for an elite grade phase 1 human. He immediately stood up and he saw the big pillow slime was running away.

The slime lost its big pillow once it threw it away and that was the reason it ran away. There was nothing nearby that can be used to throw.

Dean gritted his teeth and held his pain. He wanted to use the potion but he held himself. He wanted to save the potion when he was really in danger. Potion was expensive and Dean did not want to waste it for injury that he can held on.

The big pillow slime without the big pillow was running away as fast as it can but Dean immediately caught it with his high agility and he also used the slime soul to increase his agility. Upon reaching the slime, Dean immediately stabbed the slime.

The big pillow slime wanted to dodge but Dean was too fast for it and the hit land. However, the big pillow slime was still alive. Dean's dagger was just an ordinary dagger and not an equipment with stats on it. So, it can only rely on Dean's strength to injure the slime.

Dean used the slime soul and increase the dagger's strength and stabbed the slime again and this time, the dagger caused some injury on it. Dean kept stabbing the big pillow slime with every strength he had and after ten to fifteen more stabs, the big pillow slime died.

'Elite grade big pillow slime killed. Gain big pillow slime core, red pillow and large blue pillow, skill books and big pillow slime soul' the system notified Dean.

Dean read the notification and he was smiling but suddenly, his smiled disappeared. He forgot that he had 3 skills and he did not use it even once during the battle with the big pillow slime. Sys was laughing at Dean. Sys wanted to tell Dean about it but Dean was too focused while fighting the big pillow slime and he did not want to disturb him.

Dean went looking for more big pillow slime and due to the experience fighting the big pillow slime earlier, it was easier for him to kill them afterwards. Due to the rarity of the big pillow slime, he only managed to killed about 20 of them that day.

Night that day, Dean absorbed the big pillow slime data and used one of its soul to increase his stats. With the new data absorbed, Dean elite grade data increased to 40 and he increased his intelligent stats and energy stats both to 8.

Dean checked online and saw many news about the cosmos slime. The cosmos slime buried themselves on the ground to pretend they were just a harmless flower. From what people wrote online, they were not that strong.

However, just like Dean thought, the cosmos flower shape hat was popular among girls. Many girls wanted to get their hands on the hat and many shops that sell clothing put jobs for more of those hats to sell.

Everyone in the online community also found out that they can only find the cosmos slime in the morning around 7 am until 11 am. After that, there were none to be found. Just like the bloom rabbit, the cosmos slime only appeared at a certain time.

From all this information, Dean changed his hunting schedule a bit. He decided to stop hunting the bloom rabbit because he already had enough things to create more slime at the moment. Dean will hunt the cosmos slime in the morning and the big pillow slime for the rest of the day.

After he went online, Dean opened his monster creation and created another three new slime. Since he got three new cosmos flowers, he used all three of those flowers and created the scarlet cosmos slime, orange cosmos slime and yellow cosmos slime.

He used the red slime core and scarlet cosmos flower to create the scarlet cosmos slime, the orange slime core and orange cosmos flower to create orange cosmos slime and the yellow slime core and yellow cosmos flower to create the yellow cosmos slime.

They all had the same skill as the previous cosmos slime. The only things different was their color and the hat's color.

Summer 24th – Month 2 – Year 2001

Just like usual Dean went to the prairie after his breakfast. Just like everything he planned the night before, he will hunt the cosmos slime in the morning and the big pillow slime for the rest of day.

Luckily, although the cosmos slime only appeared in the morning, they usually appeared in a group. They were not strong and easy to deal even if they are in a group.

Dean's hunt for the day went smoothly. He was not able to upgrade any of the new slime he created but he got all of them. Dean did not do the same mistake of not using his skills while fighting and thanks to that he got to raise his skill level quite a bit.

Dean's bounce's level increased to six. He used bounce a lot and that is the reason his bounce levels rise a lot. Dean's heavy tackle and water absorb level did not rise much because he did not get much opportunity to use them.

After using heavy tackle on a real opponent did Dean knew how hard for the skill to connect especially with an opponent that moving too much. Water absorb was more of a support skill and he rarely used it because he did not store much water in his storage.

With all the many new slime he hunted, Dean finally collected enough elite grade data and he can advance to legend grade. Dean increased his stats a lot in a single day thanks to the cosmos slime. Dean did not go online that day because he needed to concentrate to advance to legend grade.

Summer 25th – Month 2 – Year 2001

Dean safely advance to legend grade. Now, Dean can start collecting data from legend grade slime. Currently Dean only had 2 slime at legend grade. They were the pillow slime and kilo slime. However, Dean did not plan on getting the data from them.

Dean wanted to create new legend grade slime but he decided to first upgrade all the elite grade slime that he had create first to legend grade. After that will he start created new species for legend grade.

Before he went to the prairie, he went for breakfast in the same café he usually frequent. While waiting for his breakfast, he heard people around him talking about something.

"Did you read the news last night?" asked one of the men nearby to his friend.

"Obviously. Should we try going there too?" said the man's friend.

"Will we be fine though? There are freaking three supreme monsters with thousands of other grade monsters waiting there! I don't think we can survive," said the man.

Dean wondered what they were talking about. Dean checked the internet and he saw the news. Dean eyes were wide opened with the news.
