Reviewing my own fanfic... kinda? What you need to know is that it's different to most of the other stories out here on webnovel. Most Harry Potter universe fanfic's I've perused tend to lean towards the psycho MC side. This doesn't. I don't really know what else to say... no harem I guess. Chapters are around 2 - 2.5k words in length. I think that's a decent amount and as of chapter 18 it's over 40k words. Anyway, hope you check it out!

I really love this story and think that you've done a great job with this novel. But honestly the only thing i never liked about the story was pairing David with Hermione, personally this is my opinion but i just don't think that David and Hermione should be together at all. to me she's always been the person that just wants to be good at everything and hates it when others beat her. Besides she's also too much of a goody two shoes and follows and believes way too much in authority figures. I hope that their relationship in the future comes to an end, and that David would be with Daphne Greengrass instead. Honestly when you think about it he has a pretty good chance of getting into a much closer relationship with her than any other guy in school. Now despite him being muggle-born or half-blood, the Greengrass family and head don't seem to hold any prejudice towards him and seem to have an initially good impression of him. Besides even if he is muggle-born or half-blood he still descends from an old pureblood family. And with him gaining back some of the money, items and probably properties it's not like he'll have to worry too much about money. Granted now that it's known and descendant of that old pureblood family lives, he could be considered a noble now. Other than his blood, he's been known as a genius and most likely the number one student in the school. So if he somehow cures himself of the curse he'll have a bright future. With this the Greengrass family won't really lose anything from marrying him to Daphne, and he's extremely powerful magically and has learned a lot of curse coupled with intensive training in dueling. I have know doubt that David will become someone very influential and would most likely have a seat in Wizengamot given his old family. So I don't think Hermione would be a good lady of a house Cross, she'll probably make more enemies than allies especially with the traditional pure-bloods by simply making a remark about how the traditions about barbaric and should change, which will anger a lot of the pure-bloods. Because for all her knowledge and being the greatest witch of her generation,sure she has the general magical knowledge but she's never bothered to learn the laws of the magical world and pure-blood equites or manner, to better understand why the things are the way they are. She's come into this world thinking it'll be similar to the muggle-world and when she sees how they show such old beliefs and traditions, she immediately thinks that they're barbaric without understanding she's in a completely new world, one so very different from hers. And how somethings are that way because of magic and can't really be changed, like the whole spew campaign she had about house elves. there's not really anything she can do for them and how she considers them to be forced slaves by the wizard community yet they have no other choice unless to die. Besides he's also shown a willingness to learn and use dark magic, something that Hermione would never do and if she finds out it would cause some problems to his relationships. But Daphne wouldn't care as long as he didn't commit needless murder and she would be willing to kill for her family. David also has to save as many magical children as possible in the second wizarding war meaning he will have to kill a couple death eaters something hermione yet again would never do. They have such a different view on magic and the world, David sees and understands the dark and cruel things of the world, while hermione believes too much in the black and white, the good and the bad. Hermoine is also too much of a firm believer that Dumbledore can know wrong and is always right, while David is wary of him and would most likely clash with one another because of their difference in beliefs, ideals and way of doing things. Remember this is just my personal opinion and thoughts, I wrote this in hopes that the author will see and change it so that David and Daphne may end up together in the end. And once again this is just my opinions and thoughts everyone is entitled to their own opinions and thoughts.
This is by far my favorite fanfiction this. I was honestly taken aback at how well done it was, compared to some others I've read and enjoyed. Particularly well done is the fact that we aren't treated to blatant copy-pastes from the book, as some other fictions are known and sometimes forced to do. This is possible since this book has it's own overarching plot/goal, unlike others where they just force insert their own character into the otherwise familiar happenings of the books. If you have any interest in Harry Potter, I recommend this one.
Best Harry Potter fanfic on the website. MC is a breath of fresh air and the romance is also pretty good. I dont really have any issues with the story so far and If it stays at the current pace, it will be an absolute gem. The Author is a good writer and is very good at conveying the characters personalities. The MC stay true to his personality. He doesnโt go astray. Just read one chapter and you will know if you will like the story or not.
This is one of my favorite Harry Potter fanfic. Great o.c not too uncaring but does not get too into babysitting harry and Ron. Smart enough to change some things that won't blow up in his face after learning the first time. Great interaction some of the other people in the story but again not too involve for creating a bigger mass. Overall it a good read romance, tragic,action and drama.
I finnally coughed up with the fresh updates (ch45) so i decided to write a review... This fanfic up to this point is a story about "what would you do if you were a part of this story". Almost no alteration to the main plot. MC keeps to the side lines and lives his own life fulfilling his mission given to him in chap 1. Up to chap 45 MC focuses on himself and his "hidden" influence worldwide. The fanfic gives the vibe that thing will have a drastic turn from the main plot as it will focus on directly saving people. My one fear is that this fanfic will be still written like it was up this point and we will have only small updates about things that are noc in canon and most of the chapters will still be about MC being part of the main plot. I can have my opinion, likes or dislikes and i feel that i could not fully express myself in writing. But main point i want to say is that still this is a good story different from other i read. MC living with original plot is a first for me i can frown upon it because I'm used to other fanfic heavy altering the story but still i like it and i wish to see it continue.
Only read the first chapter but from what I read, it is vastly different from other Harry Potter fanfics. (In a good way) The grammar is readable. The story is interesting. Its the Harry Potter world, so if you dont even know the HP world then I dont know what your doing with your life. Dunno bout character design.
i like this story, but the MC is stupid to follow canon so he can save some muggleborns in 7 th year by putting up some tents. he got permission from death to change wat ever he likes. he read the books and watched the movies so he knows wats coming and wen, he neglects the rat, sirius, harrys abuse at home and even the horcruxes . he go's even so far to put a horcrux bac so lupin get's fired. so he is a idiot for doing nothing with wat he knows of canon
Not that great of a story for me personally. The pacing of the book is awful... I am lucky I know the general story of Harry Potter or I would be fcked. It skips out on tons of information, with the descriptions not that great either. I mean I think his whole first year at school or maybe half the school year? It was done in two chapters... (example) Gl to the author, it's just I like reading stories where I can paint the picture of what happens in my head if that makes sense?

Okay so let me get started, best fan-fic I have ever read. This book makes you turn and turn the pages until youโve been fully trapped inside the authors words. The sequences are clean and although there are some grammatical errors here and there, I know that you will be able to skip through here (mostly because of some of the things that are way worse on here). The tone used has stayed consistent through the story and adds a really nice new revamp feel to the original story and adds to the characters leading you to think of them in a new light than from what the originals have done. Letโs just say that I stayed up till 2am to finish this as it had me hooked at every turn.
Update more and regularly... Make some twist that forcing the ministry to pay all his galleon in installment of fifty years perharps by releasing an open secret of him having chronic disease that nearly impossible to cure, will die young, and may not even live that long... Do an agreement between ministry and Cross house that as long as he live, the installment will always go on till he died and stop, luring them to pay back using your lifespan.... 10million galleon for a year...
