Legion20
I think this book is really awesome. Legion20 manages to keep his cast of characters relevant. They develop beside the main protagonist/s and don't just fade into nothingness or irrelevance because they can't logically keep up with his OPness. All too often the side characters won't be mentioned again because writing a believable development for them is either too hard or unwanted (Protagonist has to develop way faster/stronger/smarter than anyone else so naturally nobody can keep up). Just conjure some new ones with new personalities and let them interact with the main character. I find Legions20s worldbuilding way better and absolutly well done. It feels like an actual world that is living and breathing outside of the focused view of the protagonist as well. Stay safe and best of luck to your relative.
I think people are a bit turned off by the fact that it may not be Lith solving everything or allowing for other other people to claim his discoveries... I feel this is more of world building we get to see more of the expanded continent. indeed it's a bit fast pace but if you look back to the Hawthorne plague it was about this fast too when Lith was the lead granted there was no real enemies for him to fight besides the few goons and the ambush party
Why does it seem to me that if some other Nobles like Phloria picked up solus, they would be much stronger than Lith, I think Lith is just an untalented individual who just so happens to have the luck of picking up an artifact as a child and discover a breathing technique without effort, this story would be much more interesting if Lith uses some of his knowledge from his job on earth to prevail instead of using book/ movie names to describe something.
