He could've participated as a mercenary and coordinated with army without being part of them cuz of deal with royal. He isn't working with army anyways, they're making him dance to their tune as always. Sad character development, mc is like Japanese beta male now

Did you even read recent chapters? He used destruction infused with Regis to fight wraiths. It wasn't enough, so he used destruction without Regis to win fight. And spear is from taci which he gifted to the Lance While art was having adventures at agnoras place, lances were fighting a war obviously they will have some growth. They're using everything they have just to buy few seconds, they're nowhere close to scythe level. It was stressed how scythes are toying with them and not taking it seriously too

I'm one of the earliest reader, it was a good journey, book was enjoyable even tho it wasn't perfect. I have lots of criticism, dialogues felt annoying and lifeless at times, diversity and depth was lacking, it wasn't very captivating at times, quality of writing could've been better- like use of figure of speech etc. I have praises for it as well, I felt authors passion in this book when he started out, entire journey before immortal lands were very enjoyable for me. Goodluck for future, I'll give your other book a try as well
