After continuously running for five minutes or so, he could see Chris' figure at the far end of the street. *tries to de-escalate a bad situation* "You're all terrible people and need to leave now and forever." This could have been settled with a "Control your friend or I'll have to ask you to leave" which would have had the same narrative affect without seeming overblown.
"I'm sorry but you're no longer welcomed here. This club is funded by the Black Family and if you have any problems with them, means you have a problem with us. As far as I can tell, she didn't actively abuse him, and vaguely discouraged others from doing so, even if she never did anything about it.

Arnold knew he could create new blueprints if he had enough knowledge about them, thus he tried to make a new ability by combining the immobilising effect of his ice affinity and the damage inflicting capacity of his fire affinity into a single spell. It wasn't easy though, he had to perfectly balance the ratio of both of his affinities. Thus he combined the two of the affinities and formed the Frost-flame style. - Graal_Otonami2yrCommented

Didn't he say earlier that it was the only place that would hire him and pay for his sister's care? And as soon as he got some power offered him great terms? And he looks back and thinks "Yeah, shouldn't have stayed."? Am I the only one seeing this?

Author needs to stop providing miracles and let the MC face some hardships. So far, he's not had a single hard loss.
Just by saying that Arnold was now a part of the Black Family, Johnny gave Arnold the same special rights that the government had given to the 12 elite families. One of them being that no member of any of the 12 families can be arrested for any crimes until it's a crime against the nation and even in that case if someone had to be arrested, the President of the United States of America had to sign an arrest warrant only then the police and the military would get the authority to arrest them.
