Baptism by fire people! Effectiveness of human modern tactics to a magical fantasy land! A test of the ATI's strength upon responding to this kind of randomness! so excited! what's going to happen next? a.) will they blew the damn ship up? b.) will they take control of the ship? c.) will they capture the head beetle head while doing either of the two above? d.) Or a new player will show itself amongst the mess? Can't wait for tomorrow! Come to think of it, does the ATI have any emblems or motto to themselves? like the SAS's sword logo and motto "who dares win"
The tactic seems to be working. I wonder why their not using tear gas to clear rooms. It’s probably more effective than rounds. Also this being an airship. I was expected the hatch to be steel or some other metal. With a breaching round you would have no problem with a wooden door with a metal lock, but a metal hatch is different. It should have only bent a part of the hatch. I was expecting someone to use a halligan tool or a blowtorch. Or maybe some thermite equivalent. I’m also concern about two things. One keep track on where their going. I was expecting the squads to mark the hallways with spray paint. But they just seems to be running which ever way they feel like it. Especially with multiple breaches. They could be in areas that a squad has already searched. Secondly this strategy will create a lot of leakers and creat multiple attack avenues for the enemy. Personally what I would do is clear and seal. Clear it like you would normally do in an urban type of scenario. And seal the hatches with thermite grenades. Melting all the locks/ hatches along the way. That way they can retreat and fall back to chock points or hallways they pass. Let’s not forget they have wounded. They can build up fallback positions while they recover. Lastly if it all goes sideways. They can still leave through the point of entry. Since it’s all clear all the way to there. But hey what do I know.
