I know people have been vocal about this but I seriously doubt Peter is Huo Shao. It's just logically impossible. Even He Zichu had to spend 7 years to establish himself on the other side what more for Huo Shao who has yet to reach a scientific breakout in a mere span of months. I also trust Nianzhi's intuition when she compared the two and how Huo Shao wouldn't just be cold to her. The idea of Huo Shao pretending to be his counterpart in less than a year is just ridiculous. And most importantly, Huo Shao has never sacrificed nor purposely hurt Nianzhi in terms of appearances in his missions. He never pretended to be with another girl while being with Nianzhi and even firmly denied the pictures he had with Dou Aiyan. He always finds a way so I seriously doubt he would even have the guts to kiss his subordinate lol.
