"After that first meeting, do you see each other often?"

Feng Mian nodded. "Yeah, we kind of bump into each other a lot of times."

"Yes."

Technically, the two of them saw each other every day because they lived in the same house. Zhang Liang also went home every single day, so they still saw each other. Though, at times, it was only for a brief minute as he had to go to work again.

"So, what makes you interested in Zhang Liang, Mian'er?"

"MOM!"

Feng Mian's cheek reddened in embarrassment. Why would her mother even ask that question to her? Even if Zhang Liang is her real boyfriend, she would be too embarrassed to answer that kind of question.

There would be no way she wanted to answer.

Lin San laughed when she saw her daughter fumed in anger. She only wanted to tease her cute daughter her bit. After all, her reaction was simply priceless.

"The room is a bit cold."

"I'll adjust the temperature." Zhang Liang picked up the remote control and adjusted the temperature. He merely raised it up by two degrees as it should be enough.

Lin San watched the two of them and smiled. She didn't ask anything else because she felt drowsy again. It seemed that the operation made her lack sleep or simply tired because of the medicine.

"Mom, you can sleep again if you want," Feng Mian said when she saw her mother yawning.

Lin San nodded. "You should return back and have some rest. It'll be a busy time for you soon."

"But…"

"Go home and rest, Feng Mian."

Feng Mian knew that her mother would surely kick her out of the room again if she didn't follow. She looked at Zhang Liang.

"Brother Liang, let's go back."

"I'll take you home," Zhang Liang said calmly. He nodded at Lin San. "I hope you get well soon, Madam Lin."

"Thank you, Zhang Liang. Please take care of my daughter well."

"I will."

Lin San actually still wanted to ask much more questions to Zhang Liang, but it can wait for later. She truly felt tired.

Feng Mian didn't really bring anything but her phone to the hospital. She recalled that there was some food Zhang Liang brought for her mother. Hurriedly, she wrote a message in a paper and placed it on the small desk near her mother's table.

Afterwards, Feng Mian walked out with Zhang Liang. He only brought his work bag with him because he had already thrown the empty rice box to the trash bin.

"Thank you very much for today, Brother Liang."

"It's nothing."

Feng Mian smiled at his response. He might say that it was nothing much to him, but she knew that he must have cleared his schedule just to come here. Of course, he would not share something like that to her.

"Do you want to eat dinner first or later at the mansion?"

Feng Mian blinked her eyes. "Later is fine. It's only 6 PM."

"The journey back to the mansion might take a long time."

"It's fine."

"Alright. I parked in the basement, so it'll be quite far," Zhang Liang pressed the lift's button to go down.

"Eh?" Feng Mian was surprised. "Do you drive here by yourself, Brother Liang?"

"Yes. He Lian has to stay in the company."

The lift arrived and Feng Mian followed Zhang Liang to get in. Her eyes looked at Zhang Liang with a trace of confusion. She thought that he had a driver taking him here, but it turned out that he drove here by himself.

Considering the distance, he must have driven for hours.

As someone who was very workaholic, it must be a precious time he could use to do his work.
