*next day

I got up and refreshed myself. I messaged Jin, asking him when I should come.

I always wonder whether he is really that busy or simply sitting and ordering people to work, cause I always get an immediate response.

He replied that I should be there at around 3 o'clock. I kept my phone down and got back to work. But I didn't know how to do a seminar.

I have been to a seminar but I have not done a seminar and I have no idea what to talk about. I kept thinking if I should do something extra or put in so much things into it.

"Y/n, what are you thinking about?" Oppa asked as he shrugged me.

"Uh... nothing..."

"Um... oppa, I have to help Seok Jin for his work, so I have to be there at 3, so, can I...?" I asked.

"Y/n, you don't need to ask that. You can go." He said. I smiled and continued my work.

*at 2:30 pm

I headed upstairs and changed to a normal outfit and walked down.

"Bye unnie and oppa. See you soon."

"Y/n, have some food and go." Unnie said.

"It's ok unnie. I'll come home and have." I waved at them and headed out. I called a taxi and asked him to take to the address he sent.

I reached exactly on time. I got in and walked to his office. I knocked on the door and peeped through it.

"Seok Jin?" I called him out.

"Seok Jin?" I walked in and closed the door behind me.

'Looks like he is not here.' I thought and headed outside.

As I got out, I saw him coming from the other side. He walked into his office, like he didn't notice me.

I knocked on the door again and he said to come in. I got in and just looked at him.

"Well, take your seat. And let me tell you what you should do."

I sat down opposite to him and he wrote an entire list of what I should talk about.

"You should cover all these topics." He said and gave me the sheet.

I read all the topics.

"If you are ready, we can go." I nodded my head and followed him.

We entered a big room, filled with around 20 to 25 people. To me, this is crowd. My ears turned red as they all turned their head towards me.

I walked in between them and stood beside him.

"This is Y/n, and she is here to tell somethings on how to do business. Over to Y/n." He said and sat down and so did the others.

I gulped and took out the sheet that Jin gave and read them.

"Ok, so... let's start." I said. I started sweating.

"You guys have a dress code. So, there's no problem in that."

'What shit am I blabbering?' I cursed myself. I kept the sheet aside, that Jin gave and let out a heavy breath.

"First things, first. Good to see you all. I am Y/n, and I am here just to tell you guys how to.... approach customers."

"I heard everything from your boss and I had talked with him about some facilities you get. But you should also work according to them. First, we'll see how to approach customers."

"I need a volunteer." I said.

"I'll come." Jin said and stood.

"Ok, so he's the customer and I am the worker. So, when they approach to you and ask for a specific dress they are looking for, you guide them and stay with them till they finish their shopping."

"Next, you should approach towards them. Send flyers. Tell them about what discounts you have and if there is any offer. Respect your customers and make them feel comfortable."

Like this, I kept telling them few things and finally it got over. I felt dizzy in between, cause I haven't eaten anything, since morning, but I managed it and pulled it off well.

"Thank you." I said and bowed down.

They all clapped and Jin walked towards me.

"That was really good."

"Thanks. Guess my job is done." As I said, his face expression changed.

"You are going to leave?"

"Yeah. My work is done and I should look after the bakery too."

"How about I give you a job offer, here? As my assistant?" He asked.

"I'm sorry, but the bakery is my everything. Me and my sister had come all this way and finally it came true. I can't leave it and come."

"I understand." He said, feeling sad.

"Well, we can be friends." I said and put my hand forward. He smiled and shook my hand.

"Friends." He said and we smiled.

"I should get going."

"Let me drop you." He said.

"It's ok." But he insisted and I had no choice but to go with him. We got in the car and he drove.

"So, what made you get into bakery?"

"My sister was passionate about it and being with her, I also learnt baking and we started this bakery and it's quite successful."

"How about have a cup of coffee?" He asked.

"Sure." I said and he stopped at a coffee shop and we seated ourselves as we got in.

"what would you like to have?"

"Normal coffee is enough." He nodded and came back with our orders.

"So, tell me about your family." He said.

"My family? There's.... there's nothing big to talk about it." I said and sipped on my coffee.

"It's ok. It can't be worse than mine." He said.

"Do you think it's worse?" I asked.

"Yeah. My father forced me to do business. Since childhood, I was forced to do everything. And my mother, well, the more she supported me, the more fight it got into our family. I had no choice but do this." He said.

"You say this as worse? Mine is even worse than yours. You can't even imagine it."

"Tell me about it."

"My mother was really caring, just like my sister. She always wanted the best for us. But she passed away.... because of my father. He was the opposite of my mother. He was drunk as hell and would always beat the heck out of my mother. By getting his beatings, she left us. It was only me and my sis and we couldn't take it anymore. So me and my sis ran out of the house."

"What?!" He asked shocked. I nodded.

"Then after a lot of hard work, my sister did, in fact, we opened this bakery and that is our life." I said.

"Ok, I accept. That's worse than mine." He said and I smiled.

We headed out and he drove to the bakery.

"Ok, see you tomorrow." He said.

"Where?" I asked.

"I'll tell you that tomorrow."

"Ok." I smiled and bid him goodbye and headed inside the bakery.

I saw unnie and oppa staring at me. I avoided it and refreshed myself and sat down for a while.

'Well, I pulled it off well. Maybe, I can do a lot more seminar now.'

I got a call from Jin.

Me : Hey. What did you call for?

Jin : Why can't I call? After all we are friends.

Me : Nothing like that. Did you reach?

Jin : Yeah, I did. I wanted to ask you something.

Me : Go ahead.

Jin : While you come tomorrow, can you get...

Me : Get what?

Jin : Can you get half a dozen of those red velvet cupcakes?

I couldn't control and started laughing.

Jin : What are you laughing for?

Me : Yahh! I thought you were asking to bring me half the shop again. Whenever I come to meet you, I'll get you a box of them. Don't worry.

Jin : Ok. Thanks.

And the call ended. I headed down and continued working, when I remembered I forgot something.

I ran up and turned my bag upside down and shook it, until everything fell out.

'Gosh! Guess I left it at the office or his car.'

I headed down, having my phone in my hand and ran out.

Oppa and unnie called me, but I just ran, without turning. It was a really important thing.

My mind was filled with where it would be : whether at his office or at his car or at the coffee shop. Where could've it gone? How could I be so careless?
