Vigilantes? Light, Fear, and Speed!

It's been a few days since I've been with Kazunori and Chandelier. I've actually started to feel a lot better about myself. I still kept getting calls and texts from everyone, but I wasn't sure what to tell them. The one person that I was worried about the most was Momo.

"Hey, here you go. You can fit these clothes, right?" Kazunori told me.

He handed me a bag of clothes. It was a navy-blue hoodie, ripped jeans, and white & black colored shoes. I put the hoodie on, it fit like a glove!

"Yeah, I think these'll work! Why'd you get them for me?" I wondered.

"We're going out, I figured you wouldn't want to be noticed. That fuckin' Infinite whatever of yours, does it always have that aura around it?" Kazunori replied.

"N-No, I can tone it down completely. My hair on the other hand, I think I could do the same with, but I'm not entirely sure." I shook my head.

I entered Infinite Mode, I let the aura around me die out while still maintaining the form. I relaxed myself and my hair actually fell down!

"Fuckin' sweet! Chan should be almost ready, I'm sure you've been wanting to get the hell out of here. Trust me, I have been too." Kazunori grinned.

He's been acting rather nice to me, quite honestly, it's rather scary! Chandelier came out of the bathroom, I guess we all were going to be looking quite different from the looks of it. I threw my hood over my head as we left the hotel room. We passed by a store, I couldn't help but hear the radio that was nearby.

"Police and Pro Heroes have been on the case of finding missing U.A. High student 'Alyx Leonidus'. Reports say he was last scene with two individual that..." It trailed off as we walked by.

"Huh, seems like we've made a stir..." Kazunori muttered.

"Well, we should've expected that, they're going to want him back." Chandelier responded.

"I mean, I guess you guys technically did kidnap me. Albeit I've been feeling better since then, but you know, kidnapping is kidnapping." I chimed in.

Kazunori looked at Chandelier, "See? The fuck did I tell you? We should've at least told someone something, who knows, maybe they would've been fine with it? We've got a fuckin' super power of a guy with us and you expect them not to notice he's gone?"

Chandelier sighed and shook her head at Kazunori's grin. We passed by an apartment complex and heard someone shout.

"G-Get off me!" A woman screamed.

We all looked at each other and nodded. We rushed down the apartment's alleyway, towards a back parking lot, to find a group of people harassing a couple of women. Chandelier pulled out her nunchucks and Kazunori activated his Quirk.

"Hey guys! Have room for three more?" I asked.

I smirked at them as they turned around. The women's eyes shined with delight and relief. We rushed towards the men, I ducked and weaved under all of their strikes. Chandelier and Kazunori were handling their own pretty well! I knocked a couple of guys out before another one began to bulk up their muscles. I looked up at him before narrowing my eyes.

"Good grief... I should really buy a gun..." I sighed.

The man threw a huge fist at me, I moved my head to the right, his fist impacted against the pavement behind me. I flicked his nose and shattered it, he reeled backwards in pain before crashing to the ground on his back. I hopped on top of him and stood on his stomach.

"Aww, that's just terrible! I'd love to heal you up, buuut what you were trying to do, I can't forgive any of you for that. Treating women like playthings or your own property, I should kill you for that." I smiled.

He looked up at me as he held his nose. I held a finger out towards him and a beam of light began to glow from my fingertip.

"P-P-Please... I-I'm sorry!" He whined.

"'P-P-Please, I...' Oh shut up, you knew exactly what you were trying to do. I don't have any remorse or tolerance for people like you. Hell, I'm friends with former villains and they stand on higher ground than you. Maybe I should stomp the fuck outta that ugly face of yours, I think that'd relieve some stress I've got." I retorted.

I stomped my foot into his stomach and twisted it into it.

"Hey! We're all clear here, Speed, you good on your end?" I heard Chandelier call out.

"Eh? I've got one here still, check on the girls, Light and I can handle this guy." I nodded.

Kazunori approached me and stood next to the man I was standing on.

"Holy shit! You got busted the fuck up, man. How long do you think it'll take for him to get that fixed, Speed?" Kazunori cackled.

"I don't know, how many years do you think he'll get behind bars? I'd be happy to visit and keep breaking it until he gets out." I grinned.

The man began to sweat profusely and his eyes rolled to the back of his head. I hopped off of him and we walked over towards Chandelier.

"Thank you so much! God knows what they would've done with us!" A woman sniffled.

"Don't mention it, we're glad to help." I beamed.

I heard police sirens in the distance, I looked at Kazunori and Chandelier before nodding at them. We ran out of the parking lot and climbed up to a rooftop. Throughout the entire night, we were stopping crimes, whether they were petty or something like stopping a potential murder or robbery. We all stood atop a building that over looked Musutafu.

I threw off my hood as I sat down, "Phew! That was actually really fun! I honestly feel a lot better."

"That's good to hear, we definitely cleaned up quite a bit around this town, that's for sure." Chandelier smiled.

Kazunori sat down next to her, "We should head back home, I'm sure Pros will be looking for us. I'm not trying to answer 40,000 different fuckin' questions right now."

We made our way back to the hotel before any Pro Heroes decided to have a little chat with us. Once we got to our room, we turned the TV on to see if U.A. has made any sort of statement regarding my absence. Surprisingly, they hadn't said much at all, I guess they're wanting to keep things somewhat under wraps for now.

[Two Weeks Later...]

We've been making quite the stir as of late. There's been a huge decline of crimes taking place during the night and things have been rather calm during then. I was sitting atop of a building as I heard Kazunori and Chandelier climb up from behind me.

"Damn! They're just making it easier for us, eh? D'ya see the look on that dumbass' face when I blasted his buddy into that wall?" Kazunori laughed.

I stood up and looked at the building in the horizon. It was the tallest building in Musutafu, a place I haven't been in quite some time, and for somewhat of a good reason.

"You guys wanna do some sightseeing? I've got just the spot." I asked.

[Several Minutes Later...]

We looked across the now broader night sky as we stood on the building's rooftop. I looked down at my phone, I wanted to... No... I needed to do something that's been on my mind for the past two weeks.

*THIRD PERSON*

Class 3-A and 3-B sat in the Common Room watching the late-night news report on sightings of a new vigilante group. Momo's phone buzzed with a message from a random account on Tramble. It was a picture of the skyscraper in Central Musutafu, she immediately recognized the two people in the image as the unknown vigilantes from the news. Below was the text, "Tonight, Creati". She immediately sat up from the couch and slipped on her shoes.

"Yaomomo, what's wrong? Where are you going?" Kendo wondered.

Without a word, she ran out of the dorms into the cold night. Not even Momo herself knew why she was running towards the building, but something inside of her told her to go. Alyx flashed in her mind over and over again.

"Please... If it's really you, don't you dare do it, Alyx!" She thought to herself.

Leonidus stared out towards the horizon. He stood on the skyscraper rooftop alone as Chandelier and Kazunori returned to the hotel. He stood there and waited what felt like forever. As he went to leave, a familiar face stood several feet away from him. The two stared at each other, Leonidus' hood and hair covered his face completely, Yaoyorozu stood waiting for an explanation.

"Who are you? Why did you bring me up here?" Momo questioned.

Leonidus didn't say a word, he walked backwards towards the edge of the building. Momo's phone buzzed once more with a message from the vigilante.

"To show you how much I've changed." She read off.

Leonidus smiled as he grabbed his hood and jumped off the building. Momo ran towards the edge and looked to see who it was. Even though his hair was white, the same with his eyes, she could never forget his face. Alyx stared back at her, his eyes cold and empty, but yet his demeanor was filled with peace and content. Leonidus closed his eyes and let his body go limp, Momo sat there, transfixed on him before diving towards him. Tears flew off her face as she reached him, Momo wrapped her arms around him and pressed her face against his chest.

"I'm so sorry..." She muttered.

Alyx opened his eyes and held her close to him. She looked up at him with surprise, Leonidus felt a genuine tone come from her response, he gave her a small smile.

"Thank you." He replied.

Alyx placed his hand on Momo's cheek and kissed her. Momo moved her hands up to his face and fell deeply into his kiss. Leonidus and Yaoyorozu floated in the air, Momo leaned her head back to look at Alyx, he wiped the tears from her eyes.

*LEONIDUS' P.O.V.*

"Please, come home. I miss you..." Momo softly pleaded.

I looked away from her, "I'm... I'm not sure if I can. With those experiments that they're bound to start again, I don't want to risk losing myself completely. I've been feeling better now that I'm with Chandelier and Kazunori. They've helped me out so much these past few weeks. Why do you miss me? Or well, what do you miss?"

"I just miss waking up to you every morning. Everything's been so mundane and gray, I don't know if I can take being alone anymore. I don't want you to be feeling like that anymore, neither am I going to say that I understand or give you a generic response to try and keep those thoughts subdued temporarily. I miss seeing that smile of yours and I miss holding your hand." She answered.

We landed down onto the ground. I put my hood back up over my head.

"If I do come back, am I going to be used as a tool again? Are they gonna do experiments to see how powerful my Quirk is?" I questioned.

"I guess I can't say... I haven't heard much from any of the staff at U.A. We've been trying to find you for so long, I won't let them do anything to you." Momo told me.

"Well, what about those times you guys didn't bat an eye? I know of only a select few tests that I did where I was the one responsible for it. I'm not saying that you're at fault, you've proven to me that much." I responded.

I turned around and Momo grabbed my hand, "Please! I want to make things right!"

I looked over at her and smiled.

"Good grief... If you're wanting to make thing right, you should start at the dorms and at U.A. You've already made things right with me, I'll have Mikaboshi take you home." I reassured her.

Momo pulled me close to her and hugged me tightly. I hugged her back, she buried her head in my chest.

"Just be careful, alright, you big dummy." Momo cooed.

I gave her a kiss, "I can't promise that, but I can at least try!"

Mikaboshi phased out of me and stood next to Momo. I took off into the air, I smiled at waved at her. I'm sure Chandelier and Kazunori were already asleep, or they've ordered something to eat already. It took me about 10 minutes to get to the hotel on the edge of town. I walked into the hotel room at the extremely wrong moment.

"OOOOOH MY GOD!" I shouted.

I quickly turned around and covered my eyes as I saw the act taking place.

"COULD YOU FUCKIN' KNOCK?!" Kazunori shouted back.

I turned around with my eyes still closed and covered. I looked around for the door with my foot. I found it and quickly shut it.

"Sorry! I figured you guys were asleep!" I replied.

"Fuckin' hell... I told you we should've gotten separate hotel rooms." Kazunori grumbled.

"You never said a word about that, if I recall, you were perfectly fine with having a two-bed room." Chandelier countered.

Kazunori huffed at her, "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

"Can I open my eyes yet?" I wondered.

I didn't get a response from either of them. I heard someone grab my back and tug at my hoodie. I opened my eyes and looked behind me.

"Huh? What was-" I stopped myself.

I looked up and saw Kazunori holding some sort of small device. We sat down and looked at it.

"This looks like some sort of tracking device. That girl of yours must've put it on you." Kazunori guessed.

Mikaboshi phased through the door, "Sir Leonidus, they're on their way here. Shall we move out?"

I stood up and walked over to the door. I sat there for a bit, thinking about my options.

"No, I'm not running. That's what I've been doing mentally for the past couple of years. You two can stay here." I announced.

I put my hood up and walked out of the door. I left the hotel, there I stood in front of it, waiting to see a plethora of people coming down the street. I stopped and listened to sound in the air, was that... Music? I saw Kaminari riding on top of Kirishima's shoulders with his speaker blasting music.

"BABY COME BACK! YOU CAN BLAME IT ALL ON ME!! I WAS WRONG, AND I JUST CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU!!" He sang out.

I shook my head and smiled as they all paraded down the street towards me. I kept my hands in the pocket of my hoodie. They all stood in front of me, Kaminari hopped down off of Kirishima's shoulders and turned off his speaker. Deku stepped forward towards me.

"You can take your hood off, Speed." He smiled.

I smiled back at him and threw my hood off. I guess they were surprised to see that I was in Infinite Mode without the aura.

"You all look rather surprised, isn't it past all of your bedtimes anyway?" I chuckled.

"Well, we've got-" Deku tried to respond.

I heard a fast swoosh fly by me, "LEO... NIDUS! I'VE FOUND YOU! Don't worry everyone, it's alright! He's been located!"

Midnight, Mr. Aizawa, Present Mic, and Snipe were all with All Might. He placed his hands on my shoulders as he laughed triumphantly.

"Listen, we've come to apologize, not on the behalf of U.A. We shouldn't have put your Quirk first before you, Alyx." Mr. Aizawa spoke up.

"Was it because of my Father's death? Is that why you did that?" I spoke softly.

Midnight looked to the side, "...Y-Yes, it was. Darren was a good man, he kept a lot of secrets, I guess it really got into our heads."

"I forgive you..." I declared.

They looked surprised at me, I guess I could understand why, after everything I said a couple weeks ago. I looked up at them and gently smiled.

"As long as you're being honest with me, I can say I at least forgive you... But not really. Even though I still feel wronged, I'll at least start by saying that." I continued.

Eri appeared from behind Mr. Aizawa's leg. She walked towards me and I knelt down to her. She gave me a huge hug!

"Mr. Leonidus, are you really okay?" Eri whispered in my ear.

"No, it'll take some time, but I'll be just fine for now." I whispered back.

I put my hand on her head and smiled, "Don't you have school tomorrow?"

She nodded at me, I guess she was eager to see me as much as everyone else is. There were only a few people that I could say I didn't have to forgive in the first place. Neither was my message directed at them. I stood back up and faced Deku. He held his hand out alongside a warm smile.

"I'm not stopping until I've saved everyone, like I promised when I first got to U.A., so... I want to save you, Alyx!" He proclaimed.

I looked down at his hand, even though I knew how he felt, I felt as if he was being generic. Almost as if he was some sort of wooden actor, we made eye contact with each other. Mirio's words of advice ran through my mind.

"𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮, 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘜.𝘈.! That's what I have to do, I won't do it alone either, I grabbed his hand and smiled at him. I put my hand down and looked at everyone, I put my hood back on, I turned back towards the hotel.

"You guys should probably head back now, if you're wanting to save me, I suggest you start with the people standing behind you." I told them.

I looked away from them as I walked towards the hotel. I felt someone grab my arm, I turned my head to see who it was.

"Please, Alyx..." Kaminari pleaded.

I guess I could go back, I'd have to talk with Kazunori and Chandelier though.
