No More Despair? An All-Out War?!

I couldn't sleep because of all the commotion that was going on a few hours ago, so here I was, thinking about literally everything because I couldn't sleep. Not that I wanted to, I probably would've had those nightmares again, I doubt anyone would be awake at 2 AM. I got up from my bed to head downstairs to the kitchen. As I entered the kitchen, I saw Momo standing there in front of the sink, not moving a muscle. I stood next to her, she had the same look in her eyes as I had. Although that same feeling of emptiness was bubbling up in me again as well.

"Do you still love me?" Momo spoke up.

"Not like I did 2 years ago, if you're wanting the truth." I answered.

She didn't say a single word, I felt her Heat Energy, it was the coldest I've ever felt someone's energy. I'm sure if I used my Overdrive against her, it probably would kill her. Even when I held her hand, it felt cold to the touch. I activated my Rage Quirk, I generated enough of the smoke to cover the floor, the color in her eyes soon returned. As I deactivated my Quirk, the smoke was brought back to me.

Momo finally looked at me, "W-What... What did you do?"

"I've done what I've always done, I got rid of your problems, and now I've made them mine. Why do you think healing takes a lot out of me as well? When I use my Overdrive, it takes all of your negative energy and stores in inside my mind. I end up having a bit more each time I have to heal someone besides myself. I've never had a good way of getting rid of it, so it just sits there, dormant in a ways." I explained.

Momo's Heat Energy was back to normal, "You don't have to thank me, Momo. It's what I've been doing from the start. I could've chosen not to at any given moment because of what's been done to me, but it wouldn't have been right, not unless I wanted to be like..."

I stopped myself from going any further. I turned away from her and grabbed something from the fridge.

"I'll be in my room if you need me, Momo." I told her.

I was about to leave the kitchen until she grabbed my arm. I turned my head to look at her, her expression said it all, Momo didn't have to say a single word to me.

[The Next Day...]

I could tell that the entire class was strung a part after whatever happened last night. It was almost as if people were taking sides now, on one hand, people were with Bakugo's views. On the other, people were saying that Momo had no choice in the matter. Then, there was me, stuck in the middle of all this yet again. There was an unusual silence in our class, not to mention the fact that we all sat in different spots at lunch today. Hell, even 3-B was split down the middle as well! After school, I was at my locker when I heard a loud booms and shouting. I rushed out of school to see that everyone was fighting! Two different sides with two different views finally exploded out of control.

"H-Hey! You guys, stop it!" I pleaded.

Nobody was listening to me, neither any of the teachers, Mr. Aizawa was trying to get some sort of control with the situation as well. I looked around, this... This was their fault... This... Was their... Fault...

*THIRD PERSON*

As the students continued to fight, Leonidus stood there helplessly, thoughts brewing in his mind. Red and black smoke rose from his feet, surrounding the entire area. The fighting slowly came to a halt as they looked down at the now smoke covered ground. Out of the cracks in the ground, red & black smoke billowed outwards.

"Your... Fault..." Leonidus muttered.

Bakugo's eyes widened with fear, "Oh fuck..."

Leonidus' arms began to turn a bright red as he triggered his Demon Transformation, spikes shot out from both of his arms, huge spikes burst out of his back, carrying him up into the sky. 6 Rage arms burst out of his back, all of which impacted the ground, sending harsh winds and debris flying everywhere! Leonidus' head snapped downward and trembled, it twisted 180 degrees before violently shaking back to normal. His head shot up, eyes now completely soulless and red, every pore on his face releasing the smoke from his Rage.

Leonidus' voice violently boomed across the land as the sky began to turn a mixture of grays and reds. Fear riddled those that stood and watched Leonidus' convulsing body. Midnight started to make a run for it, wisely knowing that the situation had gotten out of hand. But before she could make a move, a Rage arm shot out and grabbed her, slamming her into the ground and dragging her up towards Leonidus. Her screams of terror were fallen on Leonidus' deaf ears. Nobody dared to even blink neither move at the horrendous sight. The other Rage arms grabbed Yaoyorozu, Snipe, and Ectoplasm. Leonidus' head turned backwards, looking at U.A., the spikes on his back ripped through his flesh as they moved towards the school.

"H-He... He's going after Nezu!" Izuku shouted.

Mikaboshi was seemingly thrown out of Leonidus' body! He landed hard on the ground next to Aizawa. Mikaboshi brushed himself off before glancing over at him.

"He's completely snapped, I tried getting through to him but he refused to listen to reason. Whatever in the Eight Divines you mortals put him through, prepare to repent for your sins, if that'll even work." Amatsu advised.

Leonidus tore the the building and into Nezu's office, he was nowhere to be found, Alyx thrashed a Rage arm through the top floor of the building.

"P-P-Please! Let me go, I beg of you, Leonidus!" Midnight cried out.

Alyx stopped his destruction and slowly brought Midnight to his face. He then sent smoke into her body through her nose, her memory flashed through the experiments that they conducted on him, each memory sent a sharp pain throughout her body. Mineta appeared in the sky, a whip made up of his Pop-Off in hand, charging towards Midnight.

"DON'T WORRY! I'LL SAVE YOU!" Mineta called out.

Leonidus' head contorted backwards, widely grinning at Mineta, black smoke rose out of his mouth. Mineta looked over at a tree and hooked his Pop-Off whip onto it.

"N-NEVER MIND!" Mineta squealed.

Snipe managed to get his weapon out and shot Leonidus in the head! Alyx's head violently looked towards Snipe's direction, he crushed Snipe's hand and gun all in one go. It felt as if this newly created monster couldn't be stopped! A long haired man dressed in a light, ocean blue kimono appeared in the sky, reeling his sword back behind him. His fox mask lit up in the blood colored sky.

"𝘍𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘮, 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘪𝘥𝘦: 𝘛𝘶𝘳𝘣𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵!" He shouted.

He moved his blade around, slicing through one of Leonidus' Rage arms, catching Momo from falling to her death. His eyes started to glow a bright blue as he looked back at Leonidus. In the air, he dodged a slash attack from Alyx. His sword rode down his Rage arm effortlessly.

"𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘮, 𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘚𝘶𝘳𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘚𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘩." The man muttered.

Water rushed from the katana blade, he delivered a fierce attack to Alyx, slicing right through him! Momo & the man ended up on the other side of Leonidus.

"W-What are you doing! Don't kill him!" Momo pleaded.

"It's far gone now, Momo Yaoyorozu, that 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 can no longer go on living!" The man retorted.

Yaoyorozu clung onto the man's back as he slid off the large back spikes that indented the ground. The two landed down on the ground, Momo grabbed the man's katana.

"Get off and get as far back as possible, I'm ending this, right now!" He continued.

"N-No! You can't kill him! For the love of God, please!" Momo begged.

"You've let this go this far and now you're wanting to save him? It's too late for that, now please, stand back!" The man laughed.

Momo reluctantly ran away towards the others, the man took a deep breath in, then exhaled out calmly. He closed his eyes and relaxed his entire body as sparks of electricity came off of his sword. His grip tightened on his blade as he looked up towards the rampaging Leonidus.

"𝘚𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘩 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘮, 𝘏𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘪𝘬𝘢𝘻𝘶𝘤𝘩𝘪 𝘯𝘰 𝘒𝘢𝘮𝘪." The man mumbled.

Within seconds, the man took off towards Leonidus, a bright yellow dragon emanating from his katana. He zipped around the raging behemoth, slicing off his Rage arms and bringing the Pro Heroes to safety. In a flash, he darted up towards Leonidus' neck, he slashed at him but Alyx managed to dodge it! The man turned around in the air, still maintaining his Breathing Form, and took the attack to Leonidus' spikes instead. The electric dragon tore through the spikes with ease, sending Alyx crashing down towards the ground.

"Alright... Now's my chance! One clean shot to the neck'll end this nightmare!" He thought to himself.

The man's body became enveloped in electricity as he gained more speed. His sword was reeled back at the ready, he got closer to Leonidus' neck and slashed multiple times at him. Going in and out of the air, slashing him rapidly, until he finally stopped in his tracks. He put the sword back in his sheath, Leonidus' body crumbled to the ground in a bloody mess as his head slid off his neck. Everyone looked on in sorrow as their friend was laid to rest. The man walked over to the others, Aizawa stood with Midnight and the other staff.

"Be ashamed of your actions, this was your doing after all, what will you do now that he's gone? Have someone else fix your problems?" The man wondered.

They stayed silent, none of them saying a word, but their faces gave the man everything he needed to hear. He looked back over towards Momo and the other students.

"As for all of you, it disgusts me to see you fighting over something instead of helping one another out. Do you think that's what he wanted this entire time? Only cowards fight without a noble cause, which is exactly what all of you were doing, instead of focusing on the real problem that's now turned to ash." The man ridiculed.

They looked down in shame, not saying a word either, the man slightly shook his head at all of them.

"Per usual, I'm the one that has to do the clean up around here..." He sighed.

"Wait, what?" Sero spoke up.

"Why would you have to? Who exactly are you?" Midnight questioned.

"I figured you all could've told, but I guess I've been in the Plane for too long, huh?" He chuckled.

The man placed his hand on his mask and took it off, "I'm the Elemental Hashira, Alyx Leonidus."

Everyone stood there, confused and speechless, how was this even possible?

*LEONIDUS' P.O.V.*

"A-Alyx?! But... Y-You just got killed! How are you here?" Deku asked.

"Once the negative energy in my body gets too high, I get sent to the Seventh Plane for cleansing and an artificial host takes control. In this case, it just so happens that the host was nothing but that, all of the negative energy stored in my body. In a sense, it's a body double, that wasn't the real me. As a matter of fact, I've been gone for almost 6 years, when it comes to Seventh Plane time. It doesn't effect my age whatsoever, neither my mental state." I explained.

"So, when did this artificial host take control?" Mr. Aizawa wondered.

"Hmm... I'd say around the Hosu City Incident. You all look so old! Don't worry, I know about everything that's happened already, so no need to refresh me on anything." I answered.

Kaminari blinked and sighed, "I am SO confused..."

"Maybe we should test out-" Midnight tried to suggest.

I quickly unsheathed my sword and put it up to her neck, "Finish that sentence, I'll be testing out how far I can throw your head."

"I-I was just kidding!" She nervously laughed.

I put my sword back in it's sheath, I turned my attention to Momo, she placed her hand on my face.

"Does... Does that mean that...?" Momo faltered.

"Hm? Does it mean what?" I smiled.

I guess it's been a while since she's seen me genuinely smile. I put my hand on her head as she hugged me.

"Hey, why did you say you were the 'Elemental Hashira'? What's that supposed to mean?" Iida inquired.

"I earned the right to be a part of what's called the 'Hashira'. During the time I was in the Seventh Plane, I mastered every Breathing Style taught to me, not to mention I went on missions with my Great Grandfather as well. Albeit they were simulations by the Plane, I proved myself to be a rather potent swordsman, making me a part of the best of the best. I've amassed a total of 3,300 demon kills on my own, killed all of the Twelve Kizuki, and Muzan Kibutsuji during these simulated runs with little to no damage. Of course, I didn't have an easy time when I started it." I told them.

"Huh... That's pretty damn cool!" Mina exclaimed.

The sky began to clear up and change back to it's regular sunset color. I readjusted the butterfly clip that was in my hair.

"Aww, that's adorable! Where'd you get that at?" Hagakure grinned.

"Oh, Ms. Shinobu gave it to me a while ago. It's the same as my Great Grandmother's!" I smiled.

I looked over at Midnight and the other staff, "As for you all, I seriously hope you learned your lesson. Someone told me this and I'll tell it to you as well. I would've much preferred if you were three hours too soon rather than one minute too late. Whatever it was you had going on, I hate to say it, but you guys have serious issues."

[One Hour Later...]

After everyone cleaned up the mess, I repaired U.A. using my Overdrive, I couldn't help but sling minor insults at them.

"Look, I'm using my Overdrive to HELP, I bet you wish you could've done that." I shouted over to Snipe and Midnight.

I moved over towards Ectoplasm's ear, "I would've figured that your Quirk could've saved me, I mean come on, you can make multiple versions of yourself. Surely, you could've outnumbered and stopped those tests you all did on me, right?"

I found Momo and stood in front of her, I opened my mouth to say something to her. I could tell she was getting ready for me to assault her emotionally.

"You've created a lot of problems, kind of ironic given your Quirk, Momz. BUT AT LEAST YOU MADE UP FOR IT BY TRYING TO HELP ME OUT." I emphasized.

I smiled at her and gave her a kiss on her forehead. Where was Principal Nezu at I wonder? I definitely had a few words I needed to say to him as well. I walked away from Momo, Bakugo made his way towards me. We stared at each other, we did our handshake, not saying a single word or taking our eyes off of each other.

"You're learning, good. If you could talk shit like that all the time, then we'd be in business!" Bakugo laughed.

"Well, it's just for today, for a very good reason." I answered.

I turned around, "A GOOD REASON! YOU HEAR THAT? I BET YOU DIDN'T HAVE A GOOD REASON!"

"Fuckin' tear 'em a new one, Alyx!" Bakugo cackled.

"ᵃʷ ʸᵉᵃ ⁱᵐ ᵍᵒⁿⁿᵃ ᶠᵘᶜᵏⁱⁿ' ᵈᵒ ⁱᵗ, ʸᵉᵃ ᵇᵃᵇʸ ⁱᵐ ᵍᵒⁿⁿᵃ ᶜᵒᵐᵉ ᵘⁿᵍˡᵘᵉᵈ..." I intensely smiled.

[Several Minutes Later...]

"...FUCKING COME ON! I COULD'VE KILLED ALL OF YOU! DID I? NOOOoooOOO! I DIDN'T BECAUSE I'M NICE!" I finished my 8 minute rant.

"Did you have to include the thigh high part?" Momo wondered.

"Yes, it was essential to the plot." I nodded.

"More like... Essential to the CO-" Kaminari added.

He got slapped by Jiro's Earphone Jacks before he could finish his sentence. Mina leaned on my shoulder.

"So, you feel better now?" She asked.

"Honestly, now that I've shouted violently, yeah! I really do feel better!" I chuckled.

Once the cleanup was over, everyone apologized to each other, Midnight told me that she would be doing something special for an apology. Or well, more like a 'I shouldn't have done that, I was wrong the entire time but I was an absolute moron' apology. We returned to the dorms after a rather interesting evening. I placed my hair in a ponytail as I started up dinner.

"Oh? You're making us dinner tonight? I thought you said you would poison us if you did." Uraraka noted.

"I learned a thing or two from Aunt Nezuko and Mitsuri. I also-" I replied.

I felt arms wrap around me and someone press their cheek against my back.

"Good grief, Momo..." I chuckled.

"I'm not letting go, I refuse to." Momo muttered.

"Could you at least let go of me so I can make everyone dinner?" I asked politely.

Instead of letting go, she jumped up and wrapped her legs around me as well. She buried her head in the back of my shoulder. I looked to my left with my eyes narrowed, I heard the girls snicker at the sight.

"Oh, just let her be, Alyx. She hasn't seen the real you in like... What's been forever!" Mina grinned.

"Mina's got a point, you technically were gone for 2 years almost, right?" Jiro agreed.

I sighed and shook my head. I guess they were right, although I was really gone for longer in the Seventh Plane, and it was hell!
