Trial of Battle

"Hehehe~"

Bakugo was about to fly towards him using his quirk but got tangled up by some cloth.

Aizawa, who was sleeping in his sleeping bag behind the teacher's desk earlier but was woken up by Bakugo's loud shouting, restrained him and was canceling his quirk.

He was half out of his sleeping bag and looking very angrily at the two.

"Bakugo started it, sensei, he started shouting "YOU BASTARD" and "I WILL KILL YOU" out of nowhere."

Haru mimicked Bakugo's voice and blamed everything on him.

Aizawa looked threateningly at Bakugo who just glared at Haru and shouted

"YOU BASTARD!"

Haru pointed at Bakugo from the ceiling.

"See, sensei? I'm innocent!"

Aizawa closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He exhaled and removed the cloth from Bakugo as the dude calmed down a bit.

"Stop causing trouble, you two! I have dry eye dammit!"

Haru's figure vanish from the ceiling and appeared beside Aizawa.

"I can try and help with that, sensei."

Aizawa just glanced at him while inwardly he was shaken. This guy just appeared... teleported? beside him and he didn't feel anything.

"Stop using your quirk when you're in public and don't have permission, Torino, and what can your quirk do with my dry eye? Can you heal with that?"

Unexpectedly, Haru nodded.

"Actually... I can. Now, are you gonna allow me to try and help you or Nah?"

The other four in the room were curious while Bakugo sat back in his chair and grumbled. Aizawa looked at Haru for a bit.

'He wouldn't be a spy or villain, right? It should be fine. He is Gran Torino's grandson, after all.'

"Fine, I'll allow it."

Aizawa agreed as he was also a bit curious if it'll work.

Haru put one hand in front of Aizawa's eyes.

"[Lesser Restoration]"

He said out loud for no apparent reason than looking cool. His hands glowed light green for a bit before said light went to Aizawa's eyes.

Aizawa instinctively closed his eyes when he saw the light but when he opened them again, the redness was gone and it didn't feel itchy anymore. The Hero-Teacher looked at Haru and nodded.

"Thank you, Torino. That was... amazing."

"You owe me one, sensei."

Haru smiled cheekily and said as he walked to his chair. Aizawa deadpanned at his back while the others couldn't believe that it worked. They thought that he would prank their sensei or something but this guy had healing capabilities?! Absurd!

"Alright, guys close your mouths. Flies might get in."

Haru said as he put his bag below his desk.

The four closed their mouths, well Mezo had his covered. Iida stood up from his seat and started reprimanding? Haru for the use of his quirk but one glare from Aizawa who was preparing to go to sleep shut him up.

Afterward, the other students of Class 1-A started coming in. It didn't take long before Aizawa started the brief homeroom and normal subjects soon followed. Everyone thought it was so normal and boring while Haru was fiddling with his phone on the back. The others didn't know as he appeared to be listening to the teacher at the front. Of course, he used [Silent Image].

Soon, it was time for lunch. Everybody had their cliques but they all went together to the Lunch Rush Cafeteria. The place was almost full except for a few tables. They all went to get some food from Lunch Rush himself and took their seats. Haru didn't need to eat but he couldn't resist Lunch Rush's food. Haru's table was full of interesting people. There was the silent and loner Todoroki, Bakugo with Kirishima, Toru who accompanied Momo, and naturally Haru.

Haru then remembered [See Invisibility] and used it on himself. He looked toward Toru and saw her actual appearance. She has short, wavy greenish-blue hair, big round eyes, and bushy eyelashes.

'Toru is quite cute too.'

Haru stared for a bit before shaking his head. He'll have quite a bit of fun later in the day. He kept casting the spell though as Toru's face was eye candy and her expressions were priceless.

"Haru!"

A yell came from the entrance of the cafeteria.

Haru's classmates looked over and saw a girl with brown hair. It was Kinoko. The girl ran towards Haru and started complaining about how normal the classes were. Haru just listened and smiled through it all while his classmates were thinking of what could be the relationship between these two. Same thing with Kinoko's classmates.

Kinoko started turning red and getting embarrassed as she just ranted in front of strangers, they were even Haru's classmates!

Haru introduced her with a pat on the head.

"This is my neighbor, Komori Kinoko."

The others on Haru's table introduced themselves except Bakugo who snickered and had Kirishima introduce him and Todoroki who Haru introduced. Todoroki didn't say anything and just nodded at Kinoko who awkwardly did the same.

"I-It's nice to finally m-meet you, Yaoyorozu-san. Haru has talked about you quite a lot."

Kinoko said as she introduced herself to Momo who lifted an eyebrow at her words.

"He did? That's interesting."

She gave Haru a side glance while Haru acted like he didn't hear them and kept eating.

Haru was pulled by Kinoko toward her friends which were Koroiro Shihai, Kodai Yui, Kendo Itsuka, Monoma Neito, Shiozaki Ibara, Tokage Setsuna, and Shoda Nirengeki. Everyone introduced themselves with Monoma glaring a bit at Haru. They got acquainted with each other while Kodai was more vocal which shocked her classmates.

Haru went back to his seat after a few minutes and finished his food. Toru asked if he and Kinoko were dating but Haru couldn't answer as Momo answered for him.

"No, they aren't. They are just close."

Toru looked at her friend weirdly, and so did Kirishima and Bakugo. Todoroki didn't care while Haru just nodded and shrugged.

After they finished eating, surprisingly, everyone at their table waited for everyone to finish before going back. Haru said goodbye to Kinoko and her friends while she did the same with his classmates.

When they reached back to their classroom, everyone was already back, waiting for their next teacher.

"IT'S MEEEEE!"

The door opened and everyone looked at the door with various degrees of shock. Haru couldn't believe that no one heard Midoriya say "You came"

"COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"

All Might said with a post followed by a laugh.

"I can't believe it! All Might's gonna be teaching us!"

A lot of sentences like that came from the students while Haru was thinking of something. Should he heal All Might?

He shook his head and decided to think about it later. (A-note: Should I?)

"FOUNDATIONAL HERO STUDIES!"

All Might shouted as he did a pose.

"For this class, we will be building up your Hero Foundations with various trials!"

Then All Might took something from his belt and showed it to the class. It was a placard with BATTLE written on it.

"Let's jump right in with this! THE TRIAL OF BATTLE!"

"The trial"

Bakugo said.

"Of Battle?"

Finished by Midoriya.

"And to go with your first battle..."

All Might then clicked a remote that he took from his belt again and segments started appearing from the walls, extending out.

It was their costumes and gear.

"We prepared the gear we had you send in requests for to match your quirk!"

"Our battle gear!"

Shouted Kirishima followed by Hanta who said "Awesome!"

"Get changed and we'll be ready to go! Everyone, gather at ground Beta!"

All Might then turned around and started walking out.

"The garb you bring into the battlefield is vitally important, boys and girls.

AND DON'T FORGET! FROM HERE ON OUT, YOU GUYS ARE OFFICIAL... HEROES!"

Everyone changed into their hero costumes and started heading to ground Beta.

Momo's hero costume was quite different from canon as when she and Haru started deciding on their costumes one month before school started, she asked for Haru's opinion and this was the result.

(A-Note: Okay, There are two designs I had in mind, I'll post both, which one has the most likes will be the one used in future chaps.)

Midoriya's costume earned a few funny looks, even from All Might himself but it seemed that the broccoli didn't notice. Everyone was looking at Haru though. Not only because his costume looks quite good on him, but the color and length of his hair also changed. It got longer and turned white. Haru used [Alter Self] to do this.

"Hey, Torino-kun! How did you change your hair? Is that a wig?"

Mina asked what was in everyone's mind as she jumped and tried the caressed his hair.

It was a bit rude but Haru didn't mind. He even bent down so she could get easier access.

"It's actually real. As for how? Magic."

"Mouuu~ Magic this, magic that, that doesn't explain anything!"

While complaining, Mina kept caressing his hair as it felt unnaturally fluffy and comfortable. She didn't even realize it until

"Ano... Does my hair feel that good?'

Haru decided to say this.

She got a bit embarrassed and stopped but that's it.

"Un!! It felt super fluffy!"

While the others talked about their costumes,

"Nice costume, Deku-kun! It looks practical."

"AHHH! Uraraka-san!"

Deku then looked at her costume and nosebleed? inside his mask.

"Isn't your costume a bit too tight, Uraraka-san?"

Haru butted in while inspecting her costume, going around her with a hand on his chin.

"I wish I'd drawn my request sketch a little better... My costume came out a bit puffy."

Ochako was a bit embarrassed due to Haru's actions but was still able to answer while she rubbed the back of her head.

Haru then looked at Midoriya who was looking and listening to them. He walked over and started inspecting Deku's costume.

"Hmmm... I see your inspiration when you made this costume. It's All Might-sensei, right?"

"H-How d-did you know, Torino-san?!"

Deku shouted in surprise.

"Geez, calm down, Deku-kun. Is that your name? Midoriya Deku?"

Haru acted as if he didn't know and was answered by Uraraka.

"It's Izuku, Torino-san!"

Haru showed a confused face.

"Huh? Then why do you and Bakugo call him Deku then?"

"W-Well, Kacchan used to call me that as an insult b-but Uraraka-san said it gave a vibe of "never giving up!" so y-you could c-call me that, i-if you want to!"

Haru looked genuinely surprised and gave Uraraka a thumbs up.

"Good job, Uraraka-san!"

She got embarrassed a bit and chuckled awkwardly. Deku and her thought that he was complimenting her for changing something that was used to discourage Deku and they were partially correct. If she didn't then Deku's hero name might have been different.

Uraraka and Deku didn't notice that someone one creeping toward them. She spoke once their conversation lulled and it spooked the two of them.

"Your costume is very plain, Torino-kun."

""WAHHH!""

Uraraka and Deku yelled out in surprise as Toru, whose costume was a pair of light blue gloves, decorated by pale pink lines, and light brownish-gray lace-up shoes.

"Hagakure-san! You scared me!"

Ochako said with a sigh of relief together with Deku. They all glanced at Haru as he still hasn't replied to Toru's comment. They saw him with his eyes bulging while looking at Toru, disbelief all over his face.

'Oh, my gods. She is so hot...'

Haru's eyes blinked once, twice, then-

"Are you okay, Torino-san?"

Deku asked as he was a bit concerned.

Ochako looked at where he was looking.

She turned back to Haru to confirm and back to Toru's body where his eyes were looking.

Toru seemed to get why he was gobsmacked and blushed, like a lot. She blushed so hard that it was visible to the others. Ochako's eyes slowly widen in shock.

"E-Ehem! I'm fine, Deku-kun. You can call me Haru and Hagakure-san... Nice costume!"

Haru answered and gave Toru a thumbs up with a cheeky smile.

Deku looked confused as Toru's costume was just gloves and boots while the two ladies knew he was talking about the lack of.

Ochako was still in shock due to... No one knows why. Toru said something that surprised Haru, well she said it soundlessly.

Mouthing the words "Do you like what you see?" Haru winked while nodding at her which further confused Deku.

'Ehh... So Toru is a pervert, huh... I should have known.'

All Might then spoke after giving them a few minutes to enjoy each other's costumes.

"LET'S SEE WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF, YOU EMBRYOS! IT'S TIME FOR THE TRIAL!"
