Request Granted, and a Truth Revealed

Mr. Adam's POV

'This is very suspicious. Why is Hendrix asking for a book of herbs and plants? That makes no sense. I should contact Principal Syble." Mr. Adam thought as he continued to walk through hallways and corridors.

Mr. Adam continued walking until he arrived in front of Syble's office. He knocked on it three times and waited patiently.

A deep sound sounded beyond the door before the sound of steps began to rise, and the door unlocked.

"Hello, Mr. Adam's. May I know the reason for your visit?" Principal Syble asked as she narrowed her eyes at Mr. Adam's while she tapped the doorframe repeatedly.

"I have a few questions to ask, and I have suspicions about a few students." Mr. Adam replied with his chin up and shoulder back.

"I see. Please come in. I'll call Mr. Parker as well. We have much to discuss." Syble acknowledged as she opened the door and beckoned Mr. Adam's enter.

Mr. Adam's nodded and entered the room before sitting down on a chair. Meanwhile, Syble walked around and took out her phone, and called Mr. Parker.

"Yes, who Is this? You know I'm a busy man, and I assure you I'll make time for you when I can, but now isn't a good time." Mr. Parker asked as he currently worked on lots of paperwork.

"It's about suspicious students." Syble replied, hoping Mr. Parker understood the seriousness of the matter.

"I see. I'll be there right away." Mr. Parker agreed before ending the call.

"Alright, now we wait." Syble stated before sitting in her chair and smiling at Mr. Adam.

After fifteen minutes passed, a knock sounded on the door.

"I'm here, Mrs. Syble. I'm ready to talk." Mr. Parker replied as he arrived with wide eyes and humming.

"You can come in. I left the door unlocked." Syble responded as she sighed a bit.

Mr. Parker nodded and entered the room smiling before sitting beside Mr. Adam.

"So let's begin with what you discovered, Mr. Adam." Syble instructed before smiling again.

"I found out that Hendrix requested a book full of plants and fungi, and I'm not sure why." Mr. Adam's explained, sighing a bit.

Mr. Parker and Syble frowned as they pinched their nose and stroked their chins.

"Mr. Adam's, to understand why, let me ask you a question. Do you believe in reincarnation or transmigration?" Mrs. Syble asked gravely.

"I do not. However, I'm curious how this relates to reincarnation." Mr. Adam's countered with a sigh.

"Well, Hendrix is reincarnated. I learned it the moment he arrived at this building. As I can see, anyone's true age." Mr. Parker clarified while holding his head high.

"Wait, you can?" Mr. Adam asked in shock.

"Yes, I can, and do you know how old Hendrix is?" Mr. Parker asked with a smile.

"I wish to know. I hope to understand Hendrix more." Mr. Adam's replied, nodding while leaning towards Mr. Parker.

"He's eight millennia old, even older than me. I'm six millennia and not reincarnated." Mr. Parker explained before staring off somewhere while trying to formulate his thoughts.

"What?! But how!? You are the oldest person alive. Why is such an old monster pretending to be a student?!" Mr. Adam asked as his eyes widened and dilated, and he shivered a bit in his seat.

"Why do you think? He wants benefits from us." Mrs. Syble responded with a crafty smile.

"There are also two other reincarnated or transmigrators. Natasha and Valentina are both as well. Natasha is twenty-seven years old, and Valentina is eighteen years old." Mr. Parker expressed with a smile.

"So we have a group of reincarnated or transmigrated. This revelation is terrifying. We need to eliminate them!" Mr. Adam's yelled, thinking the reincarnated had insidious intentions.

"We don't do that. Instead, we try to win the group over. After all, people from other alternate earths have different knowledge we lack. Perhaps they know technologies we can use." Mrs. Syble disagreed while shaking her head.

"So we will gift each reincarnated something according to their potential knowledge. I'll give Valentina and Natasha permanent mana regeneration rate, boost potions, while Hendrix will get the request he wants." Mr. Parker replied as he put his hand on his heart.

"What do you mean, Mr. Parker?" Mr. Adam asked, unsure why he was excited about this.

"I'll take leave from school for a week and travel into the crown world. I'll look back In time ten thousand years and document every single herb and fungi I can find through a thousand-mile area. I'll make sure it's a space attribute treasure so he can't resist our request due to gaining it." Mr. Parker replied as he began to fidget.

"After all, no one can memorize that many plants and fungi in their mind, which means Hendrix will have to keep it, and as long as he keeps it. He'll be in our debt and will need to share his experience from countless other earths. Once he reaches a city in the crown world, and if he returns." Mr. Parker expressed as his eyes began to dilate a bit.

"That's a great plan, though we'll need to lock it in a law of equal exchange contract, so he's forced to abide by the terms. After all, you're giving him a treasure everyone in the crown world will kill for. That's thousands of plants and fungi information which are extremely rare. And who knows how many common ones." Mrs. Syble stated as her eyes squinted.

"I understand, as long as he owns the book. He will be bound to tell us his secrets, and this is a deal no one can resist." Mr. Parker stated as he nodded.

"So you plan to use the reincarnated for the betterment of our earth?" Mr. Adam asked, now smiling in approval.

"No, we will work in a mutually beneficial relationship with them. After all, reincarnated are rather rare. There may be only a thousand on our planet right now. And they're all in hiding." Mr. Parker replied while shaking his head.

"I see. Then this will work, I'll create the contract, and we'll give it to Hendrix once you return." Mrs. Syble agreed with a smile.

"I'll see you all in a week. Goodbye." Mr. Parker waved as he disappeared from the room.

"Mr. Adam, make sure you add a task for Hendrix to complete as well." Mrs. Syble responded.

Mr. Adam nodded, then left the room and returned to his classroom to get ready to do some work.
