Allura in the Hospital and Requests

Seven hours and thirty minutes passed, and eventually, Allura's surgery ended as a nurse ran out to the waiting room.

"The surgery concluded and is a success. Allura can see visitors." The nurse announced while smiling as she motioned for Hendrix, Natasha, and Valentina to follow.

"Alright, however, we need to wake up Hendrix first." Natasha replied while smiling back.

"Hendrix, it's time to wake up." Valentina cooed as she gently shook Hendrix.

Hendrix did not respond. His body is still asleep. That action only caused him to snore a bit.

"What should we do?" Valentina asked while sighing.

"Well, I'll carry him since he seems a profound sleeper." Natasha replied as she smirked and gently picked up Hendrix before holding him like a teddy bear while smiling.

"No fair, Natasha. I wanted to hold him too." Valentina complained while pouting as she tried to grab Hendrix.

"No, Valentina, it's my turn first. Then you can." Natasha stated in a teasing manner as she winked.

"Ahem, I apologize for interrupting, but are you sure you want to see Allura?" The nurse questioned as she raised a brow.

"Yes, we do. Please bring us to the room." Valentina hurriedly replied as she walked towards the nurse.

"Alright, follow me, girls." The nurse instructed while chuckling as she walked towards Allura's room.

Natasha and Allura hastily followed the nurse, and once they reached the room, they opened the door.

"Allura, I have brought visitors." The nurse announced while smiling at Allura.

"Oh, Natasha, Valentina, and Hendrix have come? Please bring them in." Allura replied amicably, smiling as she sat up. However, she made sure not to move her arms much.

"We're here, Allura. Are you okay?" Valentina asked while looking into her eyes.

"I'm doing alright for now." Allura replied before wincing.

"Are you hurting anywhere, Allura?" Natasha asked, noticing Allura's wince.

"Yes, I am, sadly. Just waiting for the pain medication to kick in fully." Allura responded while sighing and looking out the window.

"I brought Hendrix as well. However, for some reason, he's not waking up." Natasha stated as she rubbed his head.

"Aww, he looks adorable just being held while sleeping." Allura expressed while watching him sleep.

"I know. However, Hendrix will probably be asleep for a while. He seems to have a different sleep cycle than most." Natasha replied while narrowing her eyes.

"I know it's strange. Normally people sleep for eight hours while he sleeps for just one. He also is only awake for three." Valentina stated.

"Perhaps we can ask Mr. Adam why this is the case when we request the stuff from him." Allura suggested while humming.

"Alright, however, for now, we are here to visit you, Allura." Natasha commented before walking to the side of her and sitting down in a chair next to her bed.

"So let's talk about some topics." Valentina quietly whispered as she sat next to Natasha.

"Alright, so what should we talk about?" Allura asked while gazing at Natasha and Valentina.

"Perhaps what your planning to request from Mr. Adam." Valentina asked with a smile.

"Well, I plan to ask for a special flask that can give me a permanent mana regeneration boost." Allura explained with a smile.

"That's great. How about you, Natasha? What will you ask for?" Valentina asked as she tilted her head a little.

"I'll ask for three healing flasks to use in emergencies." Natasha replied while smiling wider.

"I don't think they have those, but we'll see." Allura noted while nodding in acknowledgment.

Thirty minutes passed, and Mr. Adam's eventually opened the door and entered the room. And a smile appeared on his face as he looked at everyone.

"Hello, everybody. I'm here to hear your requests. Please tell them to me." Mr. Adam's instructed as his smile grew wider.

"I want a flask that can boost my mana regeneration rate." Allura asked, feeling investing in her future was a good option.

"Alright, that works. What about you, Natasha?" Mr. Adam's asked, wincing a bit as he didn't have much of those but wanted to keep his promise.

"I want three healing flasks for future emergencies, just in case." Natasha explained with a smile.

"Okay, I'll give those to you, but don't use them before you reach level one in the crown world after you reach a city." Mr. Adam suggested while narrowing his eyes.

"Wait, why Mr. Adam's?" Natasha asked as she furrowed her brows.

"Well, it will cause problems for you. Since they're not effective at level zero." Mr. Adam explained while sighing.

"Why is that the case?" Allura asked while raising her left brow.

"It's because it will not heal you and be a waste. That's why you, Hendrix, and the other students undergo regular surgeries. That's the only way to heal you. However, your healing rate increased a bit after you awakened." Mr. Adam's patiently clarified with a smile.

"I see, so that's why." Valentina replied, nodding before sighing due to her not getting a request.

"Now, can you wake Hendrix up? He needs to get his request." Mr. Adam asked with an eyebrow raised before chuckling, seeing Hendrix sleeping in Natasha's arms.

"Mr. Adam's, believe me, I tried. He doesn't respond to loud noises or shaking. He's an extremely deep sleeper." Natasha stated while shaking her head.

"I see. Then I'll wait here until Hendrix wakes. I heard he doesn't sleep that long anyway." Mr. Adam's replied while smiling wider.

"Do you know why Hendrix's sleeping cycle is so different?" Allura asked while tilting her head to the side.

"I do, but sadly I can't share that information yet." Mr. Adam's answered, sighing.

"Alright, let's relax then." Valentina suggested with a smile.

Everyone nodded as they quieted down. As Hendrix's weak breathing sounded, it seemed labored and fatigued. They waited for thirty minutes until he woke up.

"Where am I?" Hendrix asked as he tried to get out of Natasha's embrace but simply couldn't. Once he realized this, he merely began shivering and sweating profusely.

"Hendrix, what do you want to request?" Mr. Adam probed as he held his hands behind his back.

"I want a book filled with all the plants and fungi in the crown world, you know, as possible. So I can study it." Hendrix responded while still shivering In Natasha's arms.

"I can't get that alone, but I'll ask the principal if possible." Mr. Adam stated as he felt Hendrix needed this for a purpose but couldn't find out what.

"Thanks then. I'm still tired." Hendrix muttered as his shivering intensified.

"I'll put you down, Hendrix." Natasha stated as she finally saw Hendrix was scared of being held. But she still planned to hold him when he was asleep and out of his dorm room.

"Thanks. However, where is my cane?" Hendrix asked, beginning to panic.

"I'll bring it. Just relax here." Mr. Adam comforted with a smile.

"Okay." Hendrix sighed.

Subsequently, Mr. Adam said farewell and left the room.
