He had been forced to endure her twisted horrors for over a century until his eventual and painful death at one hundred and twenty-five years old. Hendrix's soul thought he would finally find peace in the afterlife, but fate had other plans. He would be reborn in a new body on an alternate Earth. Little did he know that his reincarnation would be the start of a grueling tribulation. ------‐---‐------‐------ I welcome constructive criticism. Killing the Bone Monarch and Escape!

Hendrix walked back up the stairs, through the bone abomination room, and into the Monarchs.

Once Hendrix arrived, the Monarch faced and roared at him as it saw him carrying its diary and wanted him to drop it. Its back morphed as two hundred bone tentacles detached and flew towards Hendrix.

Hendrix felt his chest tighten and began shivering, but his facial expression didn't change before he ripped one of the books into two immediately after.

"Your precious research is no more, Bone Monarch." Hendrix declared, ripping up all the books he had brought in front of it.

"No!" The Bone Monarch yelled in rage before losing all reason as its Axolotl Rage skill activated. It reared back on its hind limbs and leaped at Hendrix with nearly blinding speed.

"It can speak vocally?" Hendrix thought, alarmed before the last thing he saw was the Monarch approaching him as his vision went dark.

Hendrix woke up outside the bone abomination room smiling. Before returning to the Citadel Library again, and picked up the same books. Once he did, he headed back up the stairs and killed all the bone abominations.

Afterward, Hendrix spent ten years learning how to dodge the Monarch's attacks at the right moment when it's enraged. Subsequently, he learned to look at the Monarch when it rears back and to roll or run to the side the moment it leaps.

He also carefully planned a path for the pillars he planned to destroy. It started from the back of the room and ended at the entrance.

'It's time to kill the Monarch.' Hendrix thought while entering its room with the books in hand before standing in front of a pillar.

Hendrix briskly ripped the books apart in front of the Monarch once more before his eyes contracted while gazing at the Monarch.

The Monarch reared back in rage before leaping at Hendrix. However, he rolled to the side the moment it flew towards him, and it crashed through the pillar and slid quite a ways past it.

Hendrix jogged towards the next pillar in a zigzag pattern before carefully dodging its leaps just the moment before the Monarch reached him.

Upon reaching the second pillar, he waited in front patiently before rolling out of the way just in time as the Monarch crashed through the pillar.

Hendrix continued to do this, pushing himself to the limit before exiting the room carefully to rest, as he was only a mortal. Afterward, he entered inside, shooting a needle away from the door to distract the Monarch. Eventually, he repeated this action until only one pillar was left.

'This is the last one. I can only hope my plan works.' Hendrix thought while running out from the door towards the closest pillar, which was also the last.

Once he reached it, he quickly rolled to the right as the Monarch crashed through the pillar. Afterward, the Citadel began to shake and show signs of collapse.

Once the Monarch destroyed all the pillars, it suddenly gained its sanity as it looked around frantically. The cracks in the walls grew more prominent, and debris began to fall from the ceiling. Stalactites also dropped as well.

Hendrix promptly ran to the door before entering it and closing it behind himself as the ground cracked inside the Monarch's room. Meanwhile, the ceiling showed signs of breaking as well.

"No, you can't leave! Malador'll punish me if you don't stay!" The Monarch yelled in a desperate attempt to get Hendrix to come back. It rammed its head into the door and wall many times, trying to escape.

Hendrix ignored the monarch while quickly passing through the bone abominations room while he narrowed his eyes and avoided falling debris.

The floor behind the Monarch began to crack open as the stones from the ceiling fell. The Monarch's eyes widened as it reared back and flew at the wall, trying to break through.

However, its attempted action only caused the Citadel to collapse faster. As the floor behind it began to fall.

"What is this?!" The Monarch yelled as it clawed at the wall, trying to escape before standing next to it and trying to get a grip on it.

Meanwhile, Hendrix reached the stairs and began to run down them. Alas, they were damaged, and some steps fell off the staircase. It resulted in Hendrix taking risky jumps.

He continued to head down the stairs for ten minutes, quickly tiring, knowing he had to escape. Or he'll have to restart this, which he didn't want to do. He wanted eternal rest. He felt he had done enough.

While this happened in the Monarch's room, the floor had already mostly fallen before it stopped temporarily. However, the ceiling continued to collapse. Eventually, a giant piece of stone hit the Monarch in the head, causing its grip to weaken.

"Not like this!" The Monarch yelled as it began to grunt and continued trying to hang on. It tried everything not to fall, but it couldn't before it started to sway from side to side as it gripped the floor with its rear limbs.

However, it was a losing battle. It was forced backward more by another giant stone block hitting its head. It barely held onto remnants of the floor with its rear limbs.

"Nooooooo!" The Monarch yelled as its right and left back limbs pulled out of the stone floor they were clinging to before tipping backward slowly. Afterward, the rocks beneath its rear limbs cracked and broke as they fell into the darkness below. Its yells of despair emanated through the Citadel.

A slew of notifications appeared after the Monarch's death.
