Chapter 118: Pop pop

Cordelia POV

In a flash, everyone was defeated as waves and waves of chains speared and shaped into fists or weapons and attacked them, after they are defeated, their limbs are chained up and suspended midair.

"Wait a moment, I need to get the spatial mage before they run."

In a couple second, Perseus appeared with a chained up woman whose jaw was clearly dislocated from a hit to the face, he then healed her and got her chained in the air along with the rest.

First he searched through all of them for poison or anything and took them out so they won't be able to kill themselves. He then took out a vial and pour them into their mouths, specifically he coat their tongue and the inside of the mouths with it.

He then signaled me so I then create cold water and sprayed all of them continuously till they chocked and woke up.

"Don't try biting your tongue, trust me." he warned "Well you main guy, for a son of Zeus, you're really kinda shit, did you seriously think you can beat a guy ranked number 11 that easily?"

"He even tried bickering with me so that it looks like our guard are down."

"So who's next and how many? It's already obvious that I knew from the start and that Zeus sent you, how many siblings am I killing?"

"Killing?!"

"You think sparing him would be any better?" he retorted "He was literally after our heads, I can't die before I see my own child."

"You say that as if you already have one on the way, I'm closing my eyes and ears."

I'm still not used to this killing thing, so I turned away as Perseus then interrogated them and killed them all.

Currently Perseus surrounded me with this layer of mana that float me up and fly throughout the sky as we looked for a good dungeon or quest to clear

"Well for a son of Zeus, he's just as useless as his dad, without him reporting anything for the next few days, Zeus should know what happened to him." He grumbled "He knew nothing apart from the fact that his dad wants me dead."

"How did you know one is coming after you in the first place?"

"A god warned me."

"You know, the fact that there are gods above the 13 admins, that's something that would easily shake the world and here I am talking about it with you like it's another random topic."

We then fly and talk for a while till we stumbled upon this giant floating island with a giant glass dome, we got closer to see the inside is this giant farm with all sort of crops, even ones that don't exist within the 13 world.

There are about 12 people in there at most in there with a 3 story house in the center surrounded by plowed fields, a barn and all structures and machinery in a modern sci fi farm.

We then flew around it to find this port that has this giant automatic metal doors.

"Are there good vegetables that you're craving or something?"

"No, there's an NPC with an ascension quest in here, so I thought why not." he shrugged

"How'd you know?"

"Right, it hasn't been taught in class yet." she sighs "Activate the tower system, go to the main page, click quests and dungeons, on that page, go to the bottom right, there's a little thing that says 'Nearby quests and dungeons.'. After you turned that on, you go to the bottom left and filter it to however you like, only ascension ones, only quest or whatever." he instructed as I quickly followed "It then will show you the top 13 closest ones if you don't filter it further, you then can input the quest or dungeon code into the navigation part in the menu."

"It only has the name and location with no description of what to do, not even people limit, it either says solo or team, doesn't say 2 or 3 or 5." I mumbled

He then head to the far right of the port to find this door bell and when he got close, a giant screen popped up in front of the door.

'Ascension Quest. Rated rank D. Minimal Participants: 2. Are you sure you want to participate?'

"Wanna take the honor and click the doorbell?" he asked

"The honor's mine then." I then clicked it

We are then greeted by this 150cm tall and leaned old lady in jeans, rubber boots and with dirty gloves on. From the looks of it, she's an NPC.

"Hey y'all, ya raiders?" she asked

"Yep."

"Good timin', I need some help with some monsters or whatever that are scarin and killin our herd, even our crops don't get spared, I'll be sure to compensate ya, ya wanna work for it?" she asked

"Lead the way." Perseus answered

We are then led past the main house to this giant hole in the ground.

"They ain't moles, otherwise I wouldn't need ya help, but they're very good and quickly escaping by diggin tunnels all over." she explained "We tried covering some up, but like them cartoon moles, the ground just break easily for them, they are also very territorial, last raiders died and got their corpse eaten clean, even the bones were eaten."

"And you trust us to solve your issue?"

"This handsome man got that feel to him, ya know, he got that aura that is stronger than the last party of 5 combined, reminds me of my pop pop, I trust ya, we'll provide ya free meals for 3 days at the main house, but after that, yur on yur own." she said "Ya got any more questions."

"Thank you, maam, we'll solve this."

The old farmer then left to do whatever she does as Perseus inspected the giant tunnel, it's wide enough for 5 people to walk in that the same time. And from the looks of it, despite being ranked D, it's probably going to be very hard if 5 regular raiders died, thank the gods that my dad asked Perseus to look out for me, with him on my side, unless it's a fellow ranker, I'm practically safe.

"Well let's explore the farm a bit before we head in, let's go." Perseus spoke up after he finished is inspection
