Attack on the orphans

They both ran to the room to get the kids out of there while still trying to avoid the giant hands of the Meta 4 trying to crush them.

"Guys, we have to leave now?" Sid opened the door and his eyes suddenly went into shock, he saw the kids being devoured by some smaller Meta 4 that sneaked through the window.

"Hey, Sid, what are you doing? Open up" Junichi screamed as tears rolled down from his face, "Ava! Ava" he suddenly remembered that he hadn't spotted Ava.

He ran past the Meta 4 that was still slowly eating Junichi's mom, he closed his eyes in pain but he knew his survival would be what she wanted, he opened the door to Ava's room to see her laying on the floor with her left leg completely ripped off from it's joint.

Meta 4 was able to break open the roof and enter Ava's room, "Ava!" Junichi ran into the room and grabbed one of the broken sticks he found on the floor, using one hand to drag Ava he pointed the stick at the Meta 4 with the other.

"What are you doing here you dummy?" she slowly opened her eyes, "You should run, get… the kids and run" She slowly picked her word, she tried fighting the pain she was feeling but ended up groaning and it became unbearable.

"Shut up, I'm getting you out of here" he continued to drag her away from the room, but then unexpectedly the Meta 4 charged towards them with its sharp pointy forehead aimed at them.

Junichi tried to block it with the fragile stick he was carrying but ended up getting stabbed by the Meta 4, the Meta 4 stopped and didn't make any more advance instead it just turned and left.

"Junichi!" she slowly crawled her way towards him, "no, no, hey, Sister!" she screamed her lungs out while her hands were placed around Junichi's cheeks.

"I couldn't even keep my promise for a day, staying out of trouble is harder than I thought" he gave a faint smile.

"Why are you still talking? Can't you see you've been hurt badly, sister will be here soon just wait" She tried to hold in her tears but he could hear her voice cracking up?

"Hey! Could you close your eyes" He asked, the screams of the kids and the sound of falling woods and bricks were still echoing all around the surroundings.

"Why?" The tears finally came rolling down her cheeks.

"Just do it"

She closed her eyes gently and the tears started rushing out, "At least before I go, I just want you to know… I really did…" she no longer heard his voice, she gently placed her head on his chest.

"Junichi? You've stopped talking… say something" She screamed while holding Junichi's cloth tightly, she cried out loud over and over again before falling to her back.

"I'd rather die than live in a world without you" she held his hand and grabbed the piece of the shattered glass that was resting on the floor, taking a deep breath she faced Junichi and then stabbed herself with the glass.

Just when she thought she had died, her body started to transform, her eyes turned dark, green veins that were glowing started popping out from all parts of her body, and green-like substances started popping out of her leg, still it completely took over.

Still not in her right mind, she chased down the Meta 4 with the intention to kill, she was moving so fast that it was hard for anyone to see her after she caught up to the Meta 4, she leaped to the sky and landed a huge kick to its face.

The Meta 4 went flying and crashed into one of the abandoned buildings, before Ava could attack again, a man dressed in a uniform came out of nowhere and sliced off the head of the Meta 4.

Just like her he also had colored glowing veins all around his body, but instead of his leg being hardened it was his arm and the color of his veins wasn't red they were blue, people who look like them were called the Meta 3.

Ava gave a loud shriek when she spotted another Meta 4 but before she could leap up to get it, a Roxie, a female dressed in the same uniform the man was wearing, had a blonde ponytail on and was also a Meta 3 with blue veins appeared at the back of Ava and gave her an injection to the neck which made her fall unconscious.

"Still not going to admit that I'm the better Meta 3 uhn Levi?" She placed Ava on her shoulder and made her way towards Levi.

"Why should I? All you did was knock out a kid, a toddler could do that" he jumped down from the building, he slashed his sword to the side before placing it back in its case.

"You are becoming a real pain in the ass, you know that?" She moved closer to him and faced the city watching as the destruction started to dial down, "Do you think we'll be lucky this time and actually find survivors?" She sighed.

"I honestly couldn't care less, killing the Meta 4 is all I'm here for" He turned his back and began to walk away.

"Why so cold Levi?" Another Meta 3 with green veins zoomed in and interrupted them, "Doc needs us back at HQ stats" he spotted the girl that Roxie was carrying, "Nice, is that a survivor" he smiled.

Another Meta 3 showed up with Junichi on his shoulder, "Let's move guys, come on" He zoomed off.

"Well you heard the man, HQ here we come" he also zoomed off.

They arrived at M.D.T, a headquarters for Meta 3 humans. The organization is so huge that every city in the world has it. This is a place where both leading and learning Meta 3's stay since they don't know they haven't fully studied the Meta's; they keep them away from other civilians in order to study them 24/7.

Levi barged into the office and walked up to the Desk of the general in charge of the Meta 3 squad, people called him General Regard, he slammed his hands on the desk.

"What the hell is going on? We weren't told about the attack in Danvers, people died" He slammed his hands again on the desk.

"We did send the signal. How do you think you guys heard about it?" He placed his legs on his desk before giving a carefree sigh.

"You could have told us earlier, innocent lives were lost because you just couldn't do your job properly" The blue glowing veins that appeared on his body anytime he was about to go into the Meta 3 form slowly started showing up as he got angry.

"I don't get what all the force is about, you got to kill some Meta 4, it's all you ever go on about, leave now!" The commander uttered, he turned his chair around before grabbing the cup of coffee that was on the table.

"Of course…" he saluted then stormed out of the room with his Meta 3 form going back to normal. When he got outside he met Roxie waiting outside of the room with her back resting on the wall.

"So how did it go?" She asked while unfolding her arms and walking towards him.

"Same shit heads, I still hate the higher-ups" he scoffed then walked away.
