A Meta 4?

"Well look who it is if it isn't the orphan and his cute slave girl" Stephan stood his ground and block Junichi's path.

"Say that again? I dare…" Before Junichi could finish his sentence Ava pulled his shirt before dragging him off.

"Ignore them Junichi, it's not worth it" she continues to drag him along.

"Alright fine"

"Look at that, a girl is dragging him out of a fight, how romantic" they mocked both of them with a loud laugh following it.

"Bastard!"

Dropping the basket, he dragged his hands away from Ava's grasp before charging towards Stephan and slamming him to the ground. He was about to land a blow but then he received a kick to the face from one of the bullies following Stephan.

The bullies kept hitting him, the sound of the punches echoed through the alley, even after four guys had surrounded him, Junichi still stood his ground. He grabbed hold of one of Stephan's guts and began pushing his back to the wall.

"Look at this jerk" Stephan who had Junichi's hands around his guts, gave a sinister laugh before giving Junichi an upper to the chin.

He fell to the ground with his face totally bruised, he spotted Ava with a long plank sneaking slowly towards Stephan's back. He kept stylishly nodding his head, giving her the sign to not go through with it.

Just when she was about to whack him in the head, Stephan turned around and yanked the plank from Ava's hand.

"What is a cute girl like you trying to do, then?" he placed hands on her face, and slowly played with her hair before throwing in a perverted smile.

"Don't call me cute, you idiot!" Aiming at his crotch, she landed his serious kick there that brought him to his knees. He moaned in pain while holding his crotch on the ground.

"You bitch!"

One of the guys following Stephan yelled before running off to help him, Ava grabbed Junichi's hand and started to run for it.

"Hey wait, we forgot the apples"

They arrived at their orphanage, Junichi had never liked the people, but his parents were the owners so he had no choice but to vibe with them. He always wants to be free and the orphanage has rules that restrict that, the only two friends he was able to make were Ava and Sid.

Although they were still very young they had big dreams and hoped to fulfill them, sharing the same common goal was what brought them all together.

"Hello" As soon as Ava entered the orphanage everybody surrounded her, the little kids stood at the front and yanked Ava's top while they stared at her with their cute little eyes.

"Ava, where are the apples," one of the kids asked.

"Well, you see…"

Junichi's motherr entered the room while holding a basket filled with laundry, "Oh Ava! You're back, were you able to get the apples?" She placed the laundry on the center table.

"I'm sorry sister, but we kinda lost it, we got into a fight, we dropped it while we were running, I'm sorry" She bowed her head.

"At least you said the truth, but what are we going to eat this evening, that apple was supposed to be our dinner, you know?" She cleaned her face with the towel that was wrapped around her neck before grabbing the basket filled with clothes.

"I'm sure I can think of something" she ran over to the fridge and she opened it, "I could mix something up with the leftover salad we have" she pulled out a big white box that was filled with salad.

The complaining moans of the kids echoed through the room, "I don't want to eat salad" one of the kids complained.

"Yh, we ate it yesterday, and the other day too" another kid cried out.

"Are those sad voices I hear, no, no that won't do" Sid walked into the room with a basket filled with apples, the cheers of the children ran rampant, they rushed to his side jumping and cheering at the sight of the apples.

With a frown on her face, Ava marched towards Sid, "Where is Junichi?" She asked when she had gotten close enough to whisper.

"He's outside, but I don't think you should---" she walked out on him and stormed out.

"Why the hell did you go back there?" Ava marched towards Junichi who sat at the edge of a tree reading a small book.

"What do you mean?" he flipped to the next page of the book he was reading.

"You went back to get the apples didn't you?" she pulled the book from his hands.

"Hey!"

"What's your problem? Didn't you see Sid with the basket? He was the one who went back to get the apples" he dragged his book back from her.

"You know that lie can't work on me, why won't you just stay away from danger" she held her face low as tears began dropping from her eyes.

Junichi sighed, "Alright fine, when I see the trouble I'll go the other way, I promise" he jumped down from the tree and walked over to her front before patting her head and leaving.

She cleaned her tears and ran after him, "Meanie" she huffed her mouth.

"Shut up," he whacked her on the head with his book.

It was nighttime and everybody was already in bed. After eating the apple pie that Ava made, which was surprisingly delicious considering the fact that it was cooked by an 12-year-old, it was pretty amazing. They all sang songs to enjoy and party before heading to bed.

"I can't sleep" Junichi sat up on his bed and switched on the light, "wake up you jerks!" he yelled while banging the desk with his leg.

"What do you want now, Junichiro?" They all stood up from beds and started throwing their pillows at them.

"Why did you wake us up?" Sid stood up from the bed and went to sit beside Junichiro, and as soon as Sid stood up the rest followed and sat beside him.

"Wow! Very original" Junichi gave them a sarcastic look, before laying back on the bed and covering his face with his blanket.

"Ahhh, monster!" one of the kids gave a phony scream, blowing Junichi with his pillowcase.

"Oh my god it got me!" they all laughed so hard that they fell to the ground, "What would you do if a Meta 4 attacked," Sid asked.

"That would be very scary, I heard they are so huge that only their feet can cover the whole city" one of the kids spoke.

"I heard that they eat people for breakfast and then if you see them when they are eating they'll come and eat your family for dinner"

They all covered their eyes as fear gripped them, they suddenly heard a scream coming from the hall.

"Did you guys hear that?" Junichi jolted up from the bed.

"Yh I did, it came from the kitchen" Sid and Junichi ran out of the room and locked the door, leaving the kids inside.

When they got there they slowly made their way toward the kitchen. When they got to the kitchen they found Junichi's mom in the hands of a Meta 4, it slowly chewed her from her leg all the way to her head.

"Mom!" Junichi sought to go help her but Sid dragged him back, he pushed Junichi away from the scene while covering his mouth.

"If you go there you'll get killed, do you get that" Sid whispered, "we have to get the kids and get out of here"

The ceiling came off and both of them could see three Meta 4 looking down at them.
