"Do you want to know? Otherwise, I won't tell. I don't want to add to your thoughts," Sean replied softly.

"Say if you want, shut up if you don't want to. I'm fine with all options!" Alice replied with a smile.

"Why do you answer like that? Ah, I got a little disappointed!" Sean grumbled with a sad expression on his face.

"Ridiculous!" cursed Alice laughing while pinching Sean's cheek, "Okay. Tell me now, I want to know what it is too!" She continued.

Sean immediately smiled at Alice's response, which still wanted to know what Sean was doing. And just as Sean was about to tell his story, Alice's watch rang, interrupting their conversation.

"Say!" said Alice curtly.

"Boss, the little girl you took to the hospital at that time, her parents insisted on taking their daughter. Even that person didn't hesitate to injure the hospital security officers and threaten the nurses there!" reported Alice's men who were guarding the hospital where the little girl named Qiara was.

Do you still remember, Qiara is the daughter of Kendrick and Helena who ran away from their small house after being tired of responding to the rude attitude of Helena, her mother.

And to this day, Qiara still stays in the hospital, following Alice's message to him. However, Ken finally managed to find his daughter and insisted on bringing her home.

And now Alice and Sean don't know Ken's relationship with Qiara.

"I know. I'll be right there!" Alice replied to her men and hung up.

"The little girl is still in the hospital? Why don't you hand it over to me before leaving? That way, I can take care of the kid while you're away," Sean said as he walked towards their car.

By now Alice and Sean were alone, walking hand in hand. Sunny and Samuel went with Thunder and Shine in another car.

"I've left you. How can I burden you again with problems like this when I'm gone. My men have had enough of that over there," Alice replied with a smile, "Well, since we have our own business, let's split up here first, what do you think?" Alice asked.

"Will not!" replied Sean curtly.

"Why not? Then, what about each of us? Even though my business isn't that serious, yours is quite serious, isn't it?" asked Alice in surprise.

"The answer is only one, I don't want to part with you anymore! Let's go together. First, to the hospital where the little girl used to be. After there, we will meet Ken and listen to what Ken wants. Do you agree?" Sean asked after deciding.

"Okay. I will obey my husband's wishes. After all, my guardian now is my husband. So, it's not me who can't go anywhere alone, but you who have to follow me everywhere! I was right?" said Alice.

"Yes, you're right. I will accompany you wherever you go," Sean confirmed his wife's words, "Hopefully today's business will be over quickly because we still have very important business to do!" he continued, starting to speak seriously.

"What business?" Alice asked a little worriedly.

Sean brought his serious face closer to his wife's ear.

"Beating you in the war of pleasure!" Sean whispered mischievously until Alice's face turned red instantly.

"Silly bastard! You never change. Always like this!" Alice scolded Sean who was already laughing out loud.

The atmosphere in front of the hospital door looks crowded. Seen many guards in the same uniform, chasing a man with a shabby appearance.

"I don't want to use violence here. I just want to pick up my daughter! Please don't make things difficult for me and make things complicated!" Ken said to hospital security.

"We have also explained to you, that we are only carrying out orders. Please leave this place and we won't mind the mess you caused today!" said one of the security officers to Ken.

"You guys are outrageous! I just want to take my child home! But you guys keep getting in my way with unreasonable excuses!"

"Is it because I am a scavenger and poor, that you can insult me like this?! My daughter is in there, and I know it! Why do you keep her in this hospital? Why not just send her back?!" Ken asked angrily.

"That's the procedure. We can't do anything, because the hospital has been ordered to look after the child before the person in charge of the child returns! We have a report that the madam will be back today! You wait until the Madam comes!" said the officer again to Ken.

"You guys are assholes! So I have to wait for the rich woman who kept my daughter here? What for? I just want to take my daughter home! I don't want to kidnap her child! You guys are crazy!?" Ken snapped at the officers.

Ken slightly moved away from the row of hospital security officers and sat on the edge of a small park that was still adjacent to the hospital entrance.

"Money is everything in this world, isn't it? Even poor people like me still have to lick the feet of rich people like them. Damn. What a shame!" Ken cursed at fate. He felt helpless right now.

Ken waited almost two hours while cursing his fate and the people in front of his eyes at this time.

A luxury black car stopped right in front of the hospital entrance, in front of the security guards lined up there.

Ken remained silent and continued to observe. His eyes widened when he saw Sean Garendra get out of the car door.

Ken immediately stood up from his place and walked quickly to meet Sean.

"Sean!" called Ken who was still walking towards Sean.

"Kendrick? Why is he here?" mumbled Sean quietly.

"You know that man? Is he Kendrick?" Alice asked confused when Sean called the shabby-looking man who approached them was Kendrick.

Understandably, Alice had never met Kendrick before. Her life was too busy and complicated to deal with Helena's problems or to just want to know Kendrick's face.

"Hmm, yes. Looks like he's Kendrick," replied Sean who was a little unsure because Kendrick's appearance was so different from the last time Sean met Ken.

Five years ago, he met Ken and helped him bring his daughter from the Helena family. But now, Ken looks really shabby and very much different.

"Madam, how are you? Thank goodness you came at this time. Otherwise, I can't handle the complicated situation because that person is!" The hospital head's friendly greeting to Alice, made Alice turn her attention away from Sean.

"Yes, I am doing okay. Sorry to bother you, Doctor!" replied Alice who was also friendly, "Are you referring to that person? He's the parent of the little boy I brought here?" Alice continued asking.

"Yes, madam! That person is the father of the child you ordered us to look after here!" replied the head of the hospital to Alice.

"Sean, thank goodness you're here. I need your help right now!" Ken said to Sean. Not to mention that Ken approached, he had already gotten Sean's bodyguards to keep him from getting closer.

"Let him. I know him. You guys go to the office first, I have a little business here!" Sean said to the guards from the government office.

Hearing the news that Sean had arrived in Indonesia, the bodyguard from the government officials went straight to the airport to pick him up. But Sean instead went elsewhere and they had to follow his boss.

And now they had to leave again after listening to Sean's orders.

"Thank You. I'm grateful that you still recognize me after so long we haven't seen each other, even though our circumstances are very different now. But, how do you know I'm here? I haven't mentioned anything to you just now!" Ken asked confused.

"I didn't know you were here either. Your call is disconnected and I don't know what you're asking me yet. I came here to accompany my wife!" Sean answered calmly and then showed Alice to Ken.

"Hi, how are you? I'm Alice, wife of Sean Garendra. I heard the head of the hospital say that Qiara's parents are here to take her. Is that you?" said Alice who continued with a question.

Not only Ken, but Sean also gasped at Alice's words asking about Ken's relationship with Qiara.

"Doctor, can I borrow a room to speak to this man in private?" asked Alice who said seriously to the head of the hospital without taking her eyes off Ken.

The atmosphere was quiet even though three people were looking at each other in silence in the same hospital room.

'Turns out he's the father of her daughter Helena. Even though he loves his daughter, he can't do anything to Helena who is rude to her child. What a coward!' Alice mumbled in her heart.

"So where's Helena?" one question from Alice made Ken and Sean stare at Alice with a million questions.
