*Flashback(Reiner and Tires on the inner wall of Shiganshina)*

"Okay then, let's play their game" Tires uttered, standing to his feet.

"What do you mean? Let's just retreat, head back to Marley" Reiner said.

"And risk losing three Titans to the Eldains, not happening, listen you go to where the seller is, and I'll go check up on these so-called scouts".

"I don't even know where the boy's house is located," Reiner grouched.

"Then you look, we have all the time in the world" Tires said, throwing the cup of tea on the ground and walking away.

"Tires, there are some soldiers you should really look out for"

"Oh"

"Three to be exact, Levi, Ava, and Mikasa, believe me you don't want to cross swords with them," Reiner said.

"I'm supposed to be wary of some soldiers!" Tires turned, giving Reiner a depraved look.

"Yes, and when you see them, you'd know, that's when you run, they are monsters of combat".

Ava was laughing in a crazy manner as she sliced the thigh of the beast titan in one go.

She landed on the ground with her ODM gear still stuck on the titan's thigh, her legs were slicing on the ground as if she were on ice.

Levi whosed in, taking his blade and slicing off the fingers on the beast titan's right hand.

"What the hell is going on? Are they overpowering me?" Tries thought to himself as his Titan started moving back.

"Don't get cocky!" Tires yelled, using both his hands to try and catch both Levi and Ava.

Instead, they both maneuvered their bodies, slicing the beast's hand in an anticlockwise motion before Levi sent his blades into both of the titan's eye sockets.

Not washing anytime, Ava showed up behind the titan, slicing both its feet which sent him falling to the ground.

"Not bad, I thought for a sec there you got rusty," Ava said.

"Oi! Stop being so noisy and focus!" Levi responded with an annoyed look.

"Commander Ava, Captain Levi!" Four soldiers yelled, riding their horses toward them.

"What are you guys doing here? Head back to Ehrmich" Ava uttered before changing her broken blades.

"We came to aid you Captain" One of the soldiers yelled, they all turned to see the beast titan on the floor.

"Your help isn't needed here," Levi said, he picked up his blade that was on the floor and started walking toward the beast titan.

Tires inside his Titan husk had a shocked look on, "I'm going to be killed by a bunch of weak Eldians? They are just feeble humans. How can they push me so far in defeat?" Tires thought to himself.

Still laying on the ground, he saw Levi moving closer to him, "You! Like hell, you've won" He slowly stood to his feet.

"It's going to take more than that to defeat me!" Tires yelled, his Titan gave out a very loud shriek, one so loud that Levi and the rest had to cover their ears.

Right after the shriek, the soldiers fell from their horses, each one landing on the floor and immediately turning into a titan.

The lightning strike came from three different areas, one was from Connie's village, the other from where Ava was standing, and the last was from the road that led to Shiganshina, where Ayato and his squadmates were.

Tires laughed, "Yes! Do you get it now? You were never an enemy, to begin with, just bugs, bugs.".

Connie was heading to his village, he had already passed the small bridge when two sudden lightning strikes appeared.

"What the? That's like the stuff that happens when they transform, Mom!" Connie yelled as he began riding his horse faster.

When he got to a place, the unexpected suddenly occurred. A titan jumped out of the water and Connie was right on top of it.

The Titan was too fast for Connie to be able to react, "A Titan? Damn it, Shit!" He jumped out of his horse, leaving it for the Titan to swallow.

Connie landed on the ground and began running as the Titan chased him, "leave me alone damn it!" He yelled, taking a sharp left turn.

The soldier that was chasing Connie suddenly appeared, he rode past that Titan and was heading for Connie.

"Hey, hope on!" The soldier yelled, stretching his hands to Connie.

Connie tried to grab on but the horse was moving too fast, all of a sudden the soldier found himself on the ground.

His horse stepped on a barrel that fell both of them to the ground.

"Hey!" Connie wanted to go and save him but it was already too late, the titan had already gotten to him.

The titan picked him up from the ground and was slowly pushing him inside its mouth.

"Wait, please! Hold on! I'm sorry, I'll be good I promise, I've been good, ahhhhh!" The soldiers screamed his lungs off.

The titan snapped the soldier in two, leaving nothing but his hands that fell to the ground.

Connie knelt on the ground, looking at the titan as it slowly advanced toward him.

Connie was able to get a good view of the titan's face and noticed that it resembled a man in his village.

The man was someone who helped him get into the training crops when he wanted to join.

Connie stood to his feet with tears rolling down his cheeks, "I'm sorry old man, you didn't deserve this, no one did!".

Using his ODM gear he propelled himself toward the titan flying so high in the air, taking a few moments to read himself, before falling and slicing the nape of the titan.

He landed on the floor and placed his blade back in his ODM gear, "I'm sorry" he uttered before walking to his home.

When he arrived there, he noticed that there was a titan resting on the roof of his house, and from the look of it, it was incomplete, so it found it hard to stand on its feet.

"Another titan!" Connie pulled out his blade getting ready to put the titan down.

*Connie, …welcome …home*

The titan spoke, turning its head towards Connie's position, He dropped his blade as shock came flying on his face.

"Mom?".
