【Chapter VIII (8): "The Knight, The Samurai, The Viking."】

「𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗲 𝟭: "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝘆𝗣𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗹."」

「𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗜𝗜𝗜 (𝟴): "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗶, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴."」

「𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘅'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩」

"Okay, now what?" Felix asked himself looking at the scene in front of him. Medieval-styled Knights in Red and Blue could be seen with different sigils in their armor and shields, fighting each other like this is cardboard wars 2k. Their body and faces are covered by armor, both sides muddy, blooded, and wounded but can't achieve death.

So he just stared at the unconscious Blue Knight under his feet and wondered what he should do, earlier he even thought the guy was Red and he thought the Blue Knight was a girl. Yeah, well the mystery was solved when the helmet came off when he fell, it was no woman it was a man.

His thoughts were drowned out by the screams of pain and anger from both sides, both Red and Blue Knights. He, Felix doesn't like loud sounds, especially repeating once, so in annoyance, he used magic on his hands a smile on his face as he then clapped his hands. The clapping sound was loud enough and unique enough to make every NPC in the game stop.

Archers, Knights, and even the Catapult Loaders could hear it, and that made them momentarily stop. They looked around everywhere not knowing where the clapping sound was from, but before they could do something, or anything at all a foreign language immediately spoke to all of them.

"Send all of them to the fucking lobby." They cannot understand what the words meant, who is speaking at all, is it god? Probably god, they thought. But the only thing they could understand at that time is that the voice... sounded really happy, annoyed, and especially pissed off all in one.

Suddenly without any warning, they noticed their fellow Knights, friends, and enemies disappear one by one being covered by a blue particle-like substance even the supposedly dead Knights also disappeared. The only thing they can call this is Sorcery! A Sorceror has come to take their colleges, enemies, and their soul and they can't do a damn thing to stop it.

As the Knights scream in anguish most being cut off from finishing because of the System, Felix he instead just watches all of this spectacle in annoyance, even the Archers and Catapult Loaders on the high places could be heard screaming before being teleported.

Felix was impressed by the culture of the medieval era, the Knights, the structures, everything. But it got boring after a while when he realized that this place is just a warzone, a place just for Knights, Vikings, and Samurais to fight on. So without much hesitation, he decided to kick all of the Knights out, for the time being.

... Felix stopped to admire his surroundings, strange foreign medieval architecture, flaming arrows on the side of the buildings and the walls, muddy floor with shoe marks from the Knights, blood on the ground and the walls. In front of him, those things slowly disappeared after the Knights, it's almost like the map is resetting. And it is actually.

He looked up to the side, at the castle, and noticed that the flaming boulder and other miscellaneous items like flaming arrows and normal ones are slowly disappearing one by one, as everything in Felix's surrounding slowly resets.

The more he looked at everything in this place the more it became boring to him, so without much hesitation, he once again pulled out the System's Shop and intends to buy more maps. I mean he did get the Knight Map, now it's the Vikings and Samurais' turn.

But first the Samurais. Felix hasn't played For Honor yet his whole life but he is indeed a fan of the game, so he pretty much knows a thing or two. And Maps is especially one of them, so after a minute? Probably, Felix finally finished searching for the Samurais.

And of course the Vikings as well, he doesn't know a thing or shit about the Viking's Map but he does love seeing players play them, so he just chose a random map. And about the Wu Lins? Fuck them.

Felix looked at the two tabs that each of his hands is currently holding and decided to purchase the Temple Garden first, of course not before closing his eyes so that the stinging pain his imagination could feel doesn't hurt as much as it was supposed to when his eyes are opened.

He opened one of his eyes, the left one intending to take a peek and suddenly noticed that everything around him seems to change, of course, a few things didn't change after all. One of them of course his clothes, the other is the System Shop tab on his right hand, and of course, he is still in the middle of the battlefield, this time. Samurais.

"Fucking Samurais." Felix told himself in a hush tone, unbeknownst to him that the magic was still on and the two sides that was about to go to war was left confused, and wondering if kami truly exist and if they can converse with him.
