【Chapter V (5): "The Graveyard."】

「𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗲 𝟭: "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝘆𝗣𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗹."」

Darcy, Harleen, and Felix could be seen floating their bodies outlined by blue particles, as they float above a gloomy broken, and dysfunctional city filled with child-friendly versions of Zombies under them. In The Graveyard City of Planet Flusion.

Felix and the two others beside him looked under them, as Felix pointed at the city itself before opening his mouth, "The Plants and the Zombies live in a symbiotic kind of way."

He looked behind him and pointed at another city far away from them, a livelier city filled with the sun's glow opposite to the city under them.

He then opened his mouth before continuing, "In the day the Plants are awake," He then points under them, "then at the night it would be the Zombies' turn."

He then looked behind him to see a nonchalant crossed-armed Harleen, right beside her is an excited Darcy with a floppy hat on instead of her usual red beanie. She could be seen scribbling notes using a pen in a small notepad.

In her and Harleen's pockets, one could easily see other colored pens with small plants sticker on them, like the yellow pen having the sunflower, the green having the peashooter, the brown one having a walnut, etc.

Felix smiled at them, as Harleen merely rolled her eyes in response still crossed armed looking bored, while Darcy on the other hand did not notice a single thing, only listening and scribbling.

This caused Felix to yawn as he covers his mouth while sniffling a little bit. As he tries to find something interesting under them, trying to end the tour as fast as possible so that he could get to his bed.

This causes Felix to bite his cheeks inside his mouth, as he tries to find something interesting under them.

The vandalized zombie version of Mount Rushmore far to the right? The literal Leaning Tower of Paisa on the left? The zombie version of the Statue of Lady Liberty not far away behind them?

Or... Starbooks. Starbooks? Yeah, fuck it, it's a literal zombie version of the coffeehouse chain company, Starbucks. The place where you go when you want to lose money.

He, Felix tiredly wiped the sleep crust under his eyelids as he yawns and slowly floats down to the city, to Starbooks to be more precise. As he motions for Darcy and Harleen to follow him.

Darcy excitedly pocketed her note and quickly follows Felix like a fish, swimming in the air. Leaving Harleen to sigh under her breath and rub her forehead.

[𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗹: "Fuck this..."]

Harleen curses under her breath as she follows behind Felix, and a swimming goldfish like Darcy. Not by flapping her arms to the side but instead by floating downwards similar to Felix.

⸄༺ 𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗘 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞 ༻⸅

"Freeze Ray! Freeze Ray! Freeze Ray!" Felix yelled out loud excitedly as everything he yelled out Freeze Ray some random Zombie bystander would get frozen, the same said Zombies not being killed whenever frozen.

Felix excitedly freezes some more Zombies as Darcy hides behind Harleen as she winches every time Felix froze someone. Harleen seeing this just sighted as she then approached Felix and smacked him in the head, hard, stopping him from completely freezing an Old Zombie. Which is holding a newspaper in one hand and a coffee in the other. The Freese Ray on the other hand flew to the side of the Starbooks shop disappearing before hitting it.

Felix turned around and noticed Harleen crossed armed looking at him with a "What the fuck are you doing" look. He hissed a little bit from being hit and from seeing her, he then instinctively questioned her, "W-what you want?" stuttering a little bit.

He then scratched his head under Harleen's gaze, that gaze reminding Felix that she still hasn't forgotten the harassment stunt she received from Felix earlier today.

Felix just sighted, "W-well you see," He then pulled a chart out of nowhere using his powers, the same said chart having a blueprint. Of a fucking Zombie, as the said zombie in the chart spins around. This didn't even cause Harleen to be shocked at this point, just waiting for an explanation.

Felix then pulled out a glass from his pocket and put on the same said glass, the glasses being a normal one instead of the ones used by short-sighted people.

After that Felix pulled out an expendable baton from his pockets and extended it, under the confused gaze of Darcy and Harleen, as the both of them mouthed the said following words, "what the fuck / duck".

He, Felix pointed his baton's head at the Zombie in the chart, "This is the anatomy of the normal Zombie, let's call it Bob." As Felix said that a random Zombie near them looked around him confusingly, gargling speaking in, the Zombie's language.

He then moved his baton upwards pointing at the head. "This is the brain," He then smiled at Darcy and Harleen before continuing, "unlike normal humans 90 percent of it, are funnily enough turned off."

Felix watches a confused-looking Harleen right beside her is Darcy, taking notes as usual. Darcy then raised her right arm but was stopped by Felix pointing his baton at her, "I'm not finished..."

Darcy lowered her arms quickly and nodded excitedly as if saying "ok". Felix sniffed a little bit and yawned, he then looked behind him and stole the coffee of the same Old Zombie he half-frozen earlier. "Anyways where was I?"

He questioned himself hitting himself in the forehead a couple of times using his free hand while sipping from his stolen coffee. "Oh, yeah..."

"That..." As Felix points at the weird green veins in Bob's body, "Can we talk about "that?"", Harleen asked putting air quotes on her sentences using her middle and pointy finger.

"Oh..." Felix instinctively said out loud, he then looked at Harleen and Darcy while repeatedly tapping the green veins around Bob's body, "that? Yeah, that?"

He, Felix cleared his throat as he tries to quickly explains what "that" really means. "T-they, They ughh, are like our veins," Felix explained while hitting his head with his freehand, stumbling on his words.

Felix paused pulling out his freehand's pointy finger signaling for a pause to Darcy and Harleen. He then took a huge big sip of his gifted coffee before continuing. "but, this ones actually disabled their pain receptors. Which ironically kept them alive."

He looked at the inside of his coffee cup, trying to see if there is any more coffee inside, he then drank the rest before continuing, "No need for food, no need for water... Immortality."

He then looked at the shocked expressions of Harleen and Darcy as he bit the inside of his mouth. He then looked behind him at the coffee shop, Starbooks and back at the girls, "D-do you girls want some coffee?"

He then smiled at them before continuing, "My treat of course, as an apology gift." Felix said very quickly not noticing the back of his head sweating.

Darcy and Harleen looked at each other silently communicating, as Darcy looks excited while Harleen just sighed and gave up. "Yes!" "Fuck it." Darcy replied excitedly while Harleen just like I said, gave up.

Felix watches this interaction with a smile as the items around him. The one he magically pulled out earlier, the Chart, Baton, and Glasses magically disappeared similar to the Freeze Ray.

「𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗘𝗗」

「𝗦𝗟𝗡𝗩𝗬𝗟𝗕 𝗥𝗛 𝗪𝗩𝗨𝗥𝗠𝗥𝗚𝗩𝗢𝗕 𝗥𝗠 𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗩.」

『Wasn't able to upload yesterday, I really needed sleep so bad that I wasn't able to eat two dinners in one day, and I just woke up when it was two hours before the due date. We are having a week vacation so I'll be able to write chapters freely.』

『More time to write, more time to make this longer, more time to make the story actually make sense. Forgive me readers, I have sined, I didn't have a plan when I wrote this story. now I do, and I hope you'll like the plot.』
