Kara hesitantly lifts her hand to knock on Lena's door. What is she even doing here? Is this really the right time to come here? Shouldn't she give Lena more time? The Phantom has a lot in her mind. She can list a million reasons for her not to be here yet here she is. Standing just outside her wife's room.
"What do you want, Kara?"
A voice asked from the inside of the room. The Phantom flick for a moment. She was surprised to actually receive an answer for Lena.
Honestly, she didn't think this far.
"I... I want to talk... Please.", she pleads.
"What is there to talk about? Everything is said and done. Why did you trick me to marry you? Is my feelings a joke to you?"
"Lena, it's not like that! Your feeling is everything to me. You are everything to me... So, please... Please open the door, please."
Kara lean her forehead to the door. Her eyes are closed. She counts her heartbeat as she repeats the word 'please' a thousand time in her head.
She is willing to go down on her knee if Lena would forgive her.
The Phantom wait and wait.
30 minutes have passed but Lena hasn't opened up the door.
With a sigh, Kara turns her heels away from the door. Every step she took felt so heavy. Walking away is always hard for her but walking away from Lena is a whole different story. It's like every movement, every breath, and every thought, are scaring her body. Very painful. Too painful.
The pain is like walking on a thousand needles.
Unimaginable.
As a shed of tear roll down her face, the door behind her creaks open. The blonde immediately turns around to look at her wife.
Only to find her lips clashed with the softest lips she ever felt.
It was too fast. In a blink of an eye, but, she swore Lena just kissed her... Or she was delusional. Maybe she is having a stroke and is imagining the whole thing, could be so.
Tho...
The mischievous smile on Lena's face as she pulls away, tell the blonde otherwise.
Her wife looks her straight in the eyes and smirk.
"You've tricked me into your games, my dearest 'husband'", she brushes the dust off Kara's shoulder.
Lena slightly raised The Phantom's chin with her index finger. She leans closer to her wife's ear.
" Now, I'll trick you into my game."
The young lady Luthor blow on her ear, sending shivers all over Kara's body. The blonde had to wrap her hand into a ball just to stop her legs from giving up.
Kara closed her eyes and take a deep breath. She bites her lower lips to avoid letting out any moan or words she may regret later.
With her eyes still fixed on her wife, Lena hides her hands behind her back. Sending a dagger to Kara's heart when she winked at her.
Adorably the brunette turn around and tilled her head to the side, just enough so she could see the blonde.
"It's called, 'push and pull', my dearest 'husband'".
Then the door to her bedroom is closed.
Kara's shaking legs finally gave up as she fell down to the floor. Her face is burning red. Her mind keeps flashing the kiss in her head. Her body keeps remembering the nice tingling feelings Lena gave her when she blows on her ear.
" Hic!", she started to hiccup.
Quickly, the blonde covered her mouth with her hand, trying to stop the hiccup.
"Hic! I- Hic! I need- Hic! God! Hic!"
She never believed in God but that day Kara Danvers have visited every church, temple and mosque she can find.
Pray to whoever up there, with all her heart, not to be killed by her own wife in this game of push and pull.
One hell of a game they are gonna play now.
