God's Payment

In a vast white space, a small ball of white light steadily flows in an invisible line along with hundreds of millions of same small balls of light with varying colors. These balls of light are the souls who are on their way to be judge whether they deserve eternal peace, eternal punishment or another chance to live again, which we also called as reincarnation.

This one particular soul,if one just look at it, compared to the other souls, this soul is so much more smaller than the rest and it's white hue is also different to the others sporting vibrant colors. Because of its uniqueness, the being highest above all noticed it.

Souls pov:

As I was floating in these seemingly endless space, I suddenly got the feeling of being pulled out of here and arrived in this another space full of all different kinds of flowers. It was so mesmerizing to watch that I did not even notice an old man standing behind me until I heard a cough.

Who are you?

Well kid, I am what you mortals called as God.

Oh I see, so what's the matter God?

Why do you want to see someone as insignificant as me?

I asked with a hint of anger in my voice as I thought why only this time that the god came to see me or hear me when everything was over, my life is long gone.

I was miserable. I asked for help but he didn't heard all my cries and pleas, so why now? I thought with anger, resentment and bitterness.

Calm your mind child. I know all of your sufferings and as much as I wanted to help you I just couldn't because a lot of other people are also seeking my help. Being a god doesn't mean I live in leisure. Being a god comes with the greatest responsibilities. My hands are way too full. That is why this is my way of repaying you dear child. Would you like to accept it?
