Don smirked at who he saw.

It was Damon.

"Don,why do you want to harm my mum like this. I do everything you ask me, why this?" He asked as tears rolled freely down his cheeks.

"It's Daniella's end today. I won't let anyone stop me." Don pulled the net and suddenly, someone poured water and put out the fire. The net fell on the ground and Daniella wept bitterly.

"Mum!" Damon ran to her and hugged her tight.

Don raised his gun up and shot in the air in anger.

"Who the hell was it? Show yourself!!" He yelled but got no reply.

Damon wrapped his arms around his mother more.

"C'mon! C'mon!" Don called and grabbed his son and pulled him away angrily and they left the place together.

Some guards came and carried Daniella before taking her back to her room.

They chained her again and she sobbed painfully.

Damon was sobbing silently in his bedroom.

He was below whatever his father told him, and that broke his heart. He needed someone to soothe him.

Brianna knocked on the door.

"Come in." He wiped his tears.

"You're crying again." She asked.

She was wearing a white Adidas tracksuit that made all her curves visible.

"I guess."he muttered.

He looked at her and stood up. He walked to stand in her front before asking her.

"Did you put out that fire?" He asked.

"I did. I did it to save your mum. It was the only way I could..."

"I understand Brianna." He said.

"Now let's read this novel together!" Brianna said and pulled out a novel and sat on his bed.

"Am not really into novels.." He said stressed.

"Then what are you into?" Brianna asked with curiosity.

"This.." Damon said and handed a gun to Brianna.

"L.O.L! Let me read this novel to you! It's more interesting!" Brianna laughed and threw the gun.

"Now choose among this novels which one you're into" she said and began mentioning them.

"Princess Cassie"

"The Masked Princess"

"My Xi is My Boyfriend"

"Harry Potter"

"Mafia Agent"

"Transmigration novels.."

"What are you into?" Brianna asked but Damon didn't give a reply.

"Can we rather watch a movie?" He asked and she smiled widely.

"Really? With me?" She asked excitedly.

"Are we watching or not?" Damon asked as he sat on the couch in front of the TV.

"We are!" She said and sat beside him.

"Can I do this?" He asked.

"Do what?" She asked.

"This!" He muttered and relaxed his head on her shoulders.

Her eyes widened as she looked at him.

She sniffed his hair and smiled widely.

'He smell good!' She thought.

Damon put a channel and "love is sweet" displayed.

"How can someone be allergic to tears? Such a weakling" He asked and said.

She chuckled as she watched the movie.

"That's how life is boy. You get allergic to weird things" she said.

"Like what?" He asked.

"Like you can be allergic to a woman, a man, you can even be allergic to water" she said and he chuckled before laughing.

"How can you be allergic to water?" He asked before laughing again.

"Then how do you bath, what do you drink after eating or when you're tired?" He asked.

"I dunno. I has never happened to me before so how would I know" she said and he looked up at her making her heart skip a beat.

"You're cool to talk to honestly" he said before facing the TV.

"H..huh?" She stuttered.

"I ain't repeating myself again" he said and she smiled before focusing on the show.

They watched movies all night till Damon fell asleep on her shoulder. She caressed his cheeks and smiled.

Eric and Arianna were currently at a restaurant eating to their satisfaction.

"Is this why you said we should go out?" Eric asked as he chews on his food.

"Yeah. There's no good food in the mansion so I decided to eat here" she said and stuffed food in her mouth.

"You're a foodie?" He asked as he sipped from his wine.

"Definitely!" She said and stuffed more food in her mouth as she chewed slowly.

"What of Brianna?" He asked..

"She isn't a foodie. She can stay two weeks without eating. Even if she eats, it's only maybe once in a week" she said.

"Wow!" He muttered and ate his food silently.

They finished eating and Eric paid the cashier before walking out of the restaurant.

"That was yummy" she muttered and burped a little.

"Excuse me" she muttered with a giggle.

"Where else?" He asked.

"It's your turn to pick a place" she said and his phone started ringing.

He picked it up.

📱 "Come back to the mansion." Brianna muttered.

📱 "Why?" He asked.

📱 "There's going to be an emergency bell and you guys need to be here before Don notice" she said.

📱 "Alright!" He muttered and cut the call.

"We need to go back to the mansion" he said.

"Why?" She asked and he explained everything to her.

"Alright let's go" she said and they both entered the car. He ignited the engine before driving off.

They got there in no time and rushed in.

"Don..." Irene called as she entered the room.

Some maids were bathing Don, and his eyes were closed.

"What do you want, Irene?" He asked coldly without opening his eyes.

"It's about Brianna." She said expecting a reply from Don but she got none, so she went on.

"I saw her going to a building, handing bills to some people." She continued.

"The same building, I saw her for the first time?" Don asked.

"Yes!" Irene nodded.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS SHIT! CALL DAMON!" He yelled and Irene left to get Damon.

Few minutes later, Damon entered. Don threw a gun and paper.

"Take this gun, go to this address, and leave no one alive!" He thundered.

"Al...alright." He said and picked the paper and gun before leaving. He bumped into Brianna.

"Have another mission? Let's do it together!!" Brianna asked and stretched her arm for a handshake.

Don's words flashed in Damon's head.

'NO FAMILIARITIES OR FRIENDSHIPS! ELSE, Y'ALL ARE GONNA DIE!'

He looked at her hand and slapped it away before walking off.

"What's with him?" Brianna wondered.

Suddenly, a loud bell was rung and everyone assembled in the main hall including Brianna.

"The reason for this emergency bell is to welcome two new people to this clan, skilled and trained, and is worthy to work with us! Their names are Alex and Rose." Irene announced and everyone applauded them.

"Wow, they look dangerous." Arianna said, putting her arms around Eric's.

"I know right." Brianna chuckled.

"Alex looks cute though" Arianna said.

"But he's definitely not cuter than Damon" she said and Arianna chuckled.

Rose had long black hair, and her feminine figures were wild! Alex, however wasn't bad either but he was extremely cute.

"These two will be in Damon's team; that is, going for missions with Damon only. Don's approval." She said and everyone clapped as the meeting ended.

"Damon was acting a little strange today.." Brianna said worriedly.

"He's a bad guy, he's always strange." Eric rolled his eyes.

Arianna laughed loudly.

"Anna, its not funny. What if something happened.." Brianna said.

"Just calm down. He might be hanging out with a girl" Arianna teased.

"You're crazy!" Brianna said and stormed off.

Eric and Arianna looked at each other before looking at Brianna.

"That Alex is quite cute." Arianna said as they walked together.

"Go and date him then" he said and she frowned before looking at him.

Arianna cheekily squeezed his injured hand and he shrieked. She ran away and he began chasing her all around the passageway.

"You're a goner!" He yelled as Arianna ran into her bedroom. He followed her and grabbed her waist before she climbed onto the bed. They fell on their butts laughing loudly.

"Am sorry Eric!" She laughed hysterically. Eric turned to look at her. Her side view, and laughter was so fucking cute.

"Can we have ice cream together? Just us?" Eric asked suddenly.

"Huh? Are you asking me out, on a date?" Arianna asked shockingly.

"Not all outings are dates, Ari. I just wanna take you out, yunno, as a friend." He said and rolled his eyes.

"YOU WANNA?? That means, YOU'RE A WANNABE!" Her eyes widened and she bursted into another loud hysteric laughter, like that of witches in an animated film.

Eric chuckled and stood up before leaving the room.

"This girl is a clown." He said with a slight chuckle.

"Hey Eric, I wanna watch Stranger Things. Eric...Eric??!" She yelled like a baby and flung herself on the bed.

She smiled as she imagined his face in her head.

Damon got to the building in the address written. He was squatting on the rooftop as he looked below. He sighed, and the first person he saw was a woman collecting roses in the garden.

"I need to collect some roses for oil before my lovely skin melts!" She muttered.

"Wendy! Has the electricity bills been paid?" Another woman asked and Wendy faced her with a big smile.

"Yes. Brianna came today and paid. She's doing everything to make sure we're satisfied, even when she's been trapped by a Don all these years." Wendy said under the verge of tears.

"Brianna?" Damon was shocked.

He thought for a while, putting himself in Brianna's shoes. If he killed the nannies now, then it meant, he had no right to still see his mother.

"I'll spare them. I will not kill anyone." Damon said and jumped into the garden startling the two ladies.

"Who are you?" The woman, Mabel asked as she began shaking in fear.

Wendy rushed to Mabel and put her behind her.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"I'm Brianna's friend and am here to help you" he said.

"How should we believe you?" She said.

"Your life is at risk. She's busy right now so she can't save you. I will take you out of this house before they come to kill you" he said coldly and Wendy swallowed deeply.

"I'll go pack my things" she said and rushed in. Mabel followed suite.

All the women packed their things and they carried the money.

Damon entered the house and turned all the gas cooker on. He poured a lot of kerosene in the house and light it up before running out of there with the women.

They all entered Damon's Lamborghini and he drove off. He made sure to drive really far from the house and he heard it explode loudly.

"Why did you do that?" Wendy who was sitting beside him at the front asked.

"So they'll think you're dead. No more questions. It's getting annoying" he said coldly and the woman sighed.

★† SAFE HOUSE ★†

They got down from the car and stared at the building. They went in and they all settled down on a couch.

"This will be your new house. No one should leave this place for any reason. If those people who are after your life finds you, then I won't do anything to help cos I warned you" he said and they nodded.

"There's no other person living around this area except you so please take care of yourself" he said.

"What about food stuffs and other things we'll need?" Mabel asked.

"Write the list of what you'll need right now" he said and Wendy searched her bag for a piece of paper and pen. She brought it out an wrote all what they'll need.

"Here!" She said and handed it to him which he collected.

He stared at it before nodding.

"I'll bring it tomorrow. Either me or Brianna" he said and they nodded.

"Stay safe!" He said and walked out of the house.

"Boy!" She called and he turned to her.

"It's Damon!" He said.

"Damon! Please take care of Brianna and Arianna!! Please don't let any harm come to them" she said.

"No harm will come to Brianna when am still alive" he said without knowing.

Her eyes widened and she smiled.

"What I mean is that I'll protect the twins" he said and Wendy smiled knowingly.

"Alright!" She said.

"Don't think otherwise woman!" He said.

"It's Wendy!" She said and he rolled his eyes.

"Don't disrespect me son if not, I won't approve you for Brianna. You won't get my blessings so respect me" she said and his eyes widened.

"I'll be going now!" He said and left the house.

He entered his Lamborghini and breathed out in relief.

"What's wrong with me?" He asked himself before sighing.

He ignited the engine before driving off.

"What was that?" Mabel asked as she came to meet Wendy who was still standing.

"That boy. He likes my Brianna and tho he may act strong, he has a good heart" she said.

"You're talking as if you know him" she said and Wendy chuckled.

"He saved us Mabel. But one thing that I noticed is that there's a lot of pain, sadness and guilt in his eyes" she said.

"Really?" She asked.

"I don't know but that's what my instincts are telling me" Wendy said.

"Alright. Let's go in" Mabel said and they walked in.

After hearing that Damon was back, she rushed to his room.

They're currently standing near the window as the breeze blew their hair.

"You know what, Damon? Two new weirdos joined our team and is gonna go with us in the next mission!" Brianna was telling him about everything he missed out on.

"Am..am..am sorry for slapping your hand away then. It was wrong of me. I was just stressed because Don sent me to this address to kill." He handed the address to Brianna and she was devastated on seeing it.

Tears welled up in her eyes.

"C'mon, Brianna. They aren't dead." He said and she looked up at him with teary eyes.

He cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears. Brianna could swear her cheeks turned tomato red at that moment.

"They aren't?" She asked.

"No way. You put out the fire and saved my mother. How could I possibly kill those people?" Damon said.

Brianna closed her eyes as tears poured. She was too ecstatic that she gave him a bone crushing hug.
