|Chapter Seven|

Seungcheol's POV.

It was past midnight when we drove out of the mansion. Don't ask me why did we drive instead of turning into bats and just appearing there or even teleporting there, but I guess am just a minor vampire to do so.

So there was that bar whose owner was my best friend, I recommended it to Jonathan and he happily agreed,hopefully no one gets bitten

"How old are you?"

I asked him randomly.

"Me?Oh.I'm four hundred years old,why?"

Jonathan answered simply.

What??he is older than the grandpa of my grandpa if he were alive,oh! I forgot that pureblooded vampires live for hundreds of years.

"I should call you Grandfather then."

I mocked.

"Nope,You are literally my offspring you should call me da-..."

"No!"

I inturrubted him with a horrified expression.

"Dad,It is.You should call me Dad"

He said correcting my weird thoughts.

"And I can read your mind,Cheollie."

He stated.

I wasn't looking at him but I swear it felt like he was smirking.

We arrived at the bar which was unexpectidly calm,I rememer it was a day in the middle of the week.

I walked followed by Jonathan who walked confidently like the nobel master he was earning the stares of every single attandant in the bar.

I bet they thought he was a lady like I did back then,I told him his long hair is really distracting, But he just didn't respond like I wasn't speaking.

We reached the counter and took seats. Jonathan was occupied by looking at the people sitting behind us on the tables.

"Are you searching for someone?"

Asked a gentle voice from behind the bar.

I turned my head to find my best friend,Joshua.

He is the owner and the bartender of this bar.

"Hello,Seungcheol,Is she your new girlfriend?She looks so beautiful."

Said Joshua as he stared at Jonathan trying to gain his attantion,who didn't mind being called a girl.

I looked at Joshua and crossed my fingers making an 'X' sign.

He was confused so I sighed and said,

"Uh,He is a guy,Josh,Don't get decieved too."

I whispered.

Jonathan turned to me and mouthed angrily

"I can hear you!"

I shrugged then turned my attention to Josh who was asking Jonathan what he would like to have.

I'm sure it wouldn't matter to him,Vampire's favourit drink is blood after all,I bet they can never even get drunk.

*An Hour later*

Jonathan has only drank his third glass of beer but he has collapsd with his head resting on his arm on the counter, staring at the now almost empty bar.

A few strands of hair fell over his face covering his eyes as he stared at a couple by the corner flirting.

Joshua looked at his watch then geastured  to Jonathan with his head then told me,

"Is he okay,Anyways,I need to make a phone call,can you watch the bar for me till am done,we are closing soon though"

He beamed then left while dailing a number on his phone and heading outside through the backdoor.

Jonathan stood too and was about to walk away but I stopped him as I held his arm firmly.

"Where are you going??"

I asked.

"Bathroom."

He said as he freed his arm easily from my grib and headed to the bathroom which I wonder how he found out where it was.

After about thirty minutes,the remaining customers left and I headed to the door to lock it.

Neither Josh nor Jonathan had returned yet.

Suddenly,I smelt a strong scent of human blood,I hurridly ran to where the scent was coming from to find Jonathan pinning Joshua to the wall while his fangs pierced through the nape of his neck.

I sprang towards them grabbing Jonathan away from my best friend ,who collapsed in front the Vampire.

"What did you do to my friend??"

I yelled as I held Jonathan from the collar of his shirt,who stood there motionless staring at the unconcious Joshua.

And as if he just woke up from a dream he gasped,

"Is He dead??!!"

"I have no idea,I can barely feel his pulse,I will kill you if he died!!"

"Call a doctor,fast!"

He said in panic.

"There is no time!!He won't make it."

I yelled as I pressed over the oozing wound made by the Vampire's fangs,while trying my best to control my vampire desire for human blood at that moment.

"Please,Save him like you did to me."

I said in desperation as my best friend's body kept getting colder.

Jonathan nodded as he bite his own wrist and kept dripping his blood on Joshua's lips.

Slowely,his body started turned back to normal and his pulse steadied,it took almost an hour.

I could feel an enourmous power seeping from Jonathan's body as he started getting weaker but he kept going in the process.

That day,I thought what would have happen if I didn't beg Jonathan to save Josh by turning him into a vampire,If I could turn back time,I guess I would do the same.I don't know.

After that incedent Joshua too became a part of Jonathan's newly built "family tree" like he liked to call it.
