In the dark room

A pair of burning and calm eyes were staring at each other.

One small while the other big.

Finally the silence was broken as William extended his hand towards the Phoenix's spirit and said.

"The rewards"

Seeing his actions the Phoenix's spirit shouted in her mind.

'You still have the guts to ask for the rewards after passing like that'

'Shameless!!'

Seeing that no reply was coming from the divine Phoenix's spirit, William frowned as he remembered how a God once went back on her promise with him making him pay the heaviest price of his life.

Even if she was unaware, It dosen't change the fact that managing her familia was her responsibility.

As the memories from the past came to him, William stared at the Phoenix and said in a cold voice.

"Are you going to go back on your words?"

The temperature of the dark room dropped by a few degrees as soon as William's words rang out.

As soon as William's words reached her, The Phoenix's spirit instantly moved.

"Do you know who you are taking to Human?"

A bright golden coloured flame started burning, The dark space was replaced in an instant as a majestic voice resounded throughout the trial ground.

"From primordial times I, One of the three divine beasts who ruled over law of fire, The one who Created one of the three supreme scriptures of fire has never gone back on my words."

The giant pair of eyes were gone, replaced by a beautiful lady with an otherworldly aura.

Looking at her beautiful eyes which were like flame incarnate, William after a long time experienced a feeling of dread.

Feeling his emotions, The Phoenix God's spirit said in a calm voice completely opposite from the true nature of fire.

"You need not worry human as I have no intention of harming you."

The Divine Phoenix's spirit said as she raised her hand towards William.

A Golden drop of blood appeared on top of her palm as she said.

"Take it."

The golden drop suddenly flew out of the Phoenix's hand and went towards William's forehead.

Feeling the warm power from the golden blood, William didn't put up any resistance as he calmly accepted it.

Just as the Divine blood was about to enter his forehead.

[*Beep*]

[One drop of Divine Phoenix's Blood detected. Would you like to covert it into 5000 divine points?]

'No store it instead', William said after reading the message.

Instantly without anyone noticing the Divine Blood which was about to touch his forehead disappeared.

On the other hand the Divine Phoenix's spirit started her explanation.

"I will first personally help you in absorbing the divine blood and after that you will be given one month to---", The Phoenix's spirit frowned as she saw that William wasn't listening to her at all.

"Is something wrong?", Phoenix's spirit asked as she looked at William who was in a daze staring in front of him.

Hearing the Phoenix's voice, William turned his head towards her and said in a serious voice.

"The divine blood...."

'Perhaps a drop of my blood was too much for an elementary profound realm cultivator?', Phoenix God's spirit thought in her mind as her face tensed up.

Concern passed through her eyes as she looked at the one who managed to pass her trial after centuries.

And so with her full attention she listened to William's next words, ready to take action at moment's notice

"It didn't do anything"

It took some time for the Phoenix's spirit to understand what William said.

After taking a moment to understand his words, The Phoenix's spirit sighed as she said.

"You shouldn't lie like that, Taking more than one drop is will only result in your deat...", Her voice grew smaller and smaller as she saw William pointing at his forehead where she could see a red mark which should have turned bright golden by now.

*Swish*

With quick movement, The Phoenix's spirit appeared before William and started inspecting his body.

'It disappeared.', An astonished expression appeared on the Phoenix's face

'Perhaps it's because of his special physique?'

Waving her hand, another drop of golden blood appeared in her hand as she sent it towards William.

As soon as the golden blood entered William's forehead, Phoenix's spirit started inspecting his body.

And soon enough a dumfounded expression appeared on her face as she started doubting her life.

'Who am i ? Who are you?No what are you?'

Seeing William's apathetic expression, The Phoenix's spirit shouted in her mind.

'Who in the name of Primordial chaos is this guy?'

'No I refuse to believe this!!!'

With determined eyes, the Phoenix's spirit waved her hand as another golden drop appeared mid-air.

Seeing the scene, a glint passed through William's eyes as he said in his mind.

'Store it'

William calmly stood in the dark space not minding the fact that the golden flames in his surroundings have disappeared.

Turning his head William looked down and saw the Divine Phoenix's spirit squatting on the ground with her hands wrapped around her legs as she kept muttering in a small voice.

"Not possible not possible not possible not possible not possible not possible....."

Looking at her, William extended his hand and gently patted her shoulder.

Feeling the pat, The Phoenix's spirit turned her head and looked at William with a hopeful expression on her face.

Seeing her expression William gave an understanding nod which looked like it said, 'I shall solve all of your questions.'

Seeing him nod, the hope in phoenix spirit's eyes increased as she looked at William like he was a beautiful girl drying her hair on a warm sunny day.

"You should take out the real divine blood now and stop using those fake ones.",William said with a charming smile on his face.

Suddenly with a closer look she found out that the girl waving her hair was actually a cow moving it's tail.

"Please hurry up and bring out the real divine blood", William said without any sign of shame in his face.

Hearing what he said, the shoulder of the phoenix's spirit started trembling.

"Hehehe..."

Hearing the creepy laughter coming from the phoenix, William had a bad feeling as he took a step back.

"So you want to have the 'real' divine blood instead of the fake ones?"

Although the hoarse voice sounded trouble, William still nonetheless nodded his head.

"Scram"

Without any notice the Phoenix God's spirit attacked, sending a golden coloured flame towards William.

In the brief moment in which the Phoenix's spirit moved, William was able to see tears flowing out of her eyes.

'Did I went to far', William casually thought as his body was burned by the golden flames while he was thrown out of the trial ground.

*Crash*

With his body charred black, William crashing head first in the ground, Without any delay he got his head out of the ground, turned towards the trial grounds and shouted.

"What about the [World Ode of Phoe---",

*Woosh*

His sentence hadn't finished before a stone tablet followed by a pouch flew pass his face and embedded itself into tbe ground.

'Should I try asking for more', Shaking his head William got rid of the idea thinking that he really might die this time.

'Well it wasn't a bad harvest', William thought as he looked at the screen in front of him.

If the divine Phoenix heard his he was thinking then she would have rushed out of the trial to burn this fool medium rare.

Getting rid of the dead skin, William went towards the hole in the ground and took out the pouch and the stone tablet.

Instantly the pouch in William's hand disappeared.

A sharp pain assaulted William's mind as countless images passed through it.

In his consciousness, William saw a majestic scene.

It was an unstoppable Phoenix which flew across the sky, burning everything in it's path to ash and then suddenly the phoenix dived down towards the ground making a small explosion of concentrated power.

Then the scene was replaced by an explosion which spanned a hundread metres after the explosion petals coverd the area forming a beautiful golden lotus as it continued burning everything around.

After coming back to his senses, William felt like he had comprehended the 5th and 6th level of the [World Ode Of Phoenix] to perfection.

Perhaps because it read William's thought as the status replied.

Reading the message, William fell silent.

Taking in a deep breadth, William said.

"So that means my comprehension of the 5th and 6th level of the [World Ise Of Phoenix] is the same as the Phoenix herself"

William waited for the reply with expectations.

Seeing the status agree to what he said, William closed his eyes as he fell in a deep thought.

After all this one sentence from the status will make his future plans a whole lot easier.

Moving his hand, a red coloured lotus appeared above his palm.

"I suppose this is the best I could do with a diluted bloodline.", William thought as he dispersed the lotus.

"Now then....", A glint passed through William's eyes as he continued in a determined voice.

"Let's move on to the next stage."

A strong force pulled out William from Fèng bǎichuān's's body.

Returning to his Divine Soul form, William looked at the rising sun and quickly flew away.

"Urgh", A sharp pain ran through Fèng bǎichuān's mind as his consciousness slowly started waking up.

"What the hell just happened", Feeling pain all over his body, Fèng bǎichuān's was confused as he slowly sat up and felt the rough ground underneath him.

"Achoo", Fèng bǎichuān's sneezed out loud as he felt the cold wind fly pass his body.

'Dammit why is it so cold.....wait', It was only now that he noticed a problem.

'Why am I naked?'

Fèng bǎichuān's asked himself this question which any normal man in his circumstance would.

'WAIT', With quick movement, Fèng bǎichuān's moved his hand and touched his butt.

"Hiikkk", He shouted out loud like a little girl as he felt intense pain coming from his back region.

After a while the pain subsided as Fèng bǎichuān's sat on the ground blankly staring at the sun above thinking.

'So I am no longer a virgin.....', Moving his hand, he covered his mouth as the sound of muffled crying rang out.

Unfortunately, He would have noticed that it's not just his butt, rather his whole body should be hurting like hell and he would know it if he touched around.

But his misunderstanding got the better of him.
