Chapter-6

After buying some daily necessities I make my way towards the abandoned church.

After walking for a while the broken church comes into my view.

*Crack*

I pull up the wooden board covering the basement entrance and put it back after entering the basement.

"Haaaah"

I sigh filled with multiple emotions escapes my lips.

*pop*

"It's been 6 months since I came here..."

I mutter under my breath as I plop down on the sofa.

I take a look at the sofa, bed, table, chairs and other things which I bought in the last six months.

"This damed world....."

I curse as I remember my first time I read my status.

'That was really depressing'

I was shocked briefly but I still didn't give up and went to the dungeon the very next day thinking about how I can still become a great adventurer as I know the things which others don't know and so I came to the first floor in high spirits.

Unfortunately, I forgot a single fact.

That is how was a 16-year-old kid who doesn't even go outside of his house unless necessary and can't even kill a cockroach without external help is supposed to kill a short and green goblin running towards his way with a mouth full of sharp teeth ready to bite my face off.

That was probably the first and worst day of my dungeon career.

But still, I managed to kill the goblins and kobalts after getting bitten and hacked on the back by a stick a few times.

On that day I returned with a body full of injuries. And also got scolded by Miss' advisor for hours and the worst part was that most of the money made that day was used for getting the basic medicines and bandages and the rest were used to buy food.

You can't kill monsters on an empty stomach now, can you?.

The first Two weeks were hell and that son of a b*ch Canoe also used to take money from me saying that it was the protection fees.

I endured for a long time and finally, a month ago I managed to beat him and his shitty gang I honestly thought that they were really weak but then I remembered that the main story is still years away and also looking at these pricks behavior I hardly doubt that they even go to the dungeon.

I managed to meet the leader and her party on the fourth floor and they asked me if I was interested in joining their party after seeing my skills with the bow they also lacked an archer.

Perhaps it's because of me being from another world or maybe it's because I'm naturally talented but I manage to reach the basic level of swordsmanship and marksmanshipship pretty quickly if you were to notice that I didn't have any teacher and all of my moves were self-made to deal with the monsters.

Well coming back to the party well let's start with Dylan he looks young but is in fact almost 30 years old he became an adventurer a year ago and is always filled with confidence although he gets flustered quite easily as well. But I have to say that Dylan has a kind heart as if anyone in the party were to get hurt then he will be the first one to come running for help.

Secondly, there's Julia who always has a smile on her face and posses some of the most exaggerated reactions I have ever seen. She once told me that she became an adventurer to explore the dungeon even though she doesn't seem interested in learning about the dungeon's layout at all. Julia is 17 years old and if I were to add the time of my previous life then we will be of similar ages.

Last but not least there's the leader who acts like an elder sister towards me and Julia she is calm and collective most of the time and makes sure that all of us are able to work well with each other, She is definitely the biggest pillar in our team.

A smile forms on my lips as I think about my teammates.

'I suppose this world isn't that bad after all

I fall asleep while thinking about such things.

---------[4 hrs later]

I wake up from my sleep and come out of the basement.

*growl*

My stomach makes hungry sounds as I look at the moon hanging in the night sky.

'Let's eat out today'

I have no mood to cook today so I go downtown to eat.

*chatter*chatter*chatter*

"It's just as lively at night as it is in the day."

I walk on the street of orario while looking at the marvelous night view of the city.

"It should be around here..."

I mumble to myself as I look at the stores nearby.

"There it is"

Hostess of fertility.

It was the first place which I visited after saving up a decent sum of money four months ago. I had quite the high hopes for the food here after all it's the anime food and I just had to give it a try at that time.

How was the food you might ask well I will say that it was average at best which was a real letdown at that time but if I were to compare it to the other restaurants around then it's definitely the better choice?

I didn't bother coming back here and instead cooked my own food as my mom and dad on earth used to be out for work most of the time I had to learn to make my own food and we'll I can make edible food.

"A new customer nya~~~ quick quick come in nya~~~"

A smiling Chloe welcomes me.

Those cat ears are as fascinating as always.

I follow behind Chloe as she leads me to the stool by the bar.

"What would you like nya~~ our special for today is roasted meat and soup nya~~ it's really delicious nya~~~"

"I'll have one special then"

"Okay nya~~"

I look around while waiting for my food.

"Hey hey did you hear about the new level 5 adventurer from the Loki familia"

"You mean that Ais wallen---something"

My ears perk up as look at the two adventurers chatting on a table not too far from me.

"It's Ais Wallenstein and did you know she just reached level 5.

"What's so great about that?"

"You idiot it would have been fine if she was only a level five but guess what she managed to go from level 1 to level 5 in just four years"

"WHAT are you sure that your not drunk or something"

"I wouldn't joke around with things like these"

"But then how come we didn't get to know about her before??"

"I heard that the Loki familia was hiding her information and they choose to reveal it just now when she reached lvl 5"

'So that's how it was'

No wonder I couldn't find any information on Ais before, I thought that she was still in training but it was the Loki familia instead.

My thoughts start running around after I heard their conversation.

"Here's your order please enjoy nya~~~"

I Ignore Chloe and think about the timeline.

"At the start of season 1 Ais was a lvl 5 just about to turn lvl6 and if she just turned lvl 5 then that would mean there are still at least 2-3 years before the start of the story"

So I won't be able to change my familia till 2 more years?!

That won't do.

Looks like I'll just have to change to some other familia after reaching lvl 2 then.....

I eat my meal in a gloomy mood and leave after paying the bill.
