5 Chapter-5
"So how was your first time on the 5th floor"
"Except for a few ants which dropped from the ceiling and almost caught us off guard it went well."
"I did tell you to be careful about that and so did your party decide to stay on the 5th floor or to return back to the beginning floors?"
"I think that we'll stay on the 5th floor for now"
"Looking at the level of your party it doesn't seem like that you guys will suffer from some kind of trouble on the 5th and 6th floors but please don't underestimate the killer ants just because they are easier to deal with.
"I understand miss advisor"
I got up from my seat and start heading towards the inner parts of the guild.
"Are you going to look at the dungeon maps provided by the guild?"
"Yes"
"I wish that every adventurer would learn your habit of learning more about the floors that they are on "
I smile at her reply and leave for the guild's library.
---------[Half an hour later]
I leave the guild while carrying a short notebook in my right hand.
"It's about time I get it updated...."
I mumble to myself as I walk towards the direction of the soma familia.
I pass through the familiar alley and come in front of the gates.
"Please God Soma just one more drink Just One more...."
"I'll give my everything so please....please let me have just one more drink...."

The familiar scene of people standing in front of the main gate and asking for a drink enters my view.
I walk past them and come to the small and unattractive door located on the side.
*knock*knock*...*knock*knock*
*Click*
I knock in a specific way and the sound of the door opening from the other side rang's out.
"Oh so it's William boy~~ are you here for getting an update"
"Mind your own Fu*king business Canoe unless last times beating wasn't enough for you?"
I ask in a cold voice and direct a threatening glare towards him.
"Don't get on your horses after just one victory kid or trust me that you'll regret IT"
We both look at each other silently each of us ready to attack the other without a moment of hesitation.
"Now now is this any way for familia members to behave with each other?"
A carefree voice enters our ears but after hearing that voice both me and Canoe feel goosebumps all over.
"Captain","Captain"
Both of our voices rang's out at the same time as we look at the person in front of us.
"How many times must I tell the both of you that this is not how you are supposed to behave, familia members should love each other but you two just keep on creating a ruckus"
"It won't happen again Captain"X2
We both reply to the crafty elf at the same time.
"Yes yes love is very important in a familia but why don't I see your love towards me do your perhaps not like your captain?"
He said that while raising both of his hands.
I grit my teeth's and take out the bag with valis hanging by my waist and place it on his left hand while canoe also put a bag on his right hand"
"Hhmm what is this don't tell me Canoe that your love is perhaps less than William's??"
Captain asks in a cold voice which makes the canoe drop down on the ground shaking.
"THAT'S REALLY ALL I HAVE PLEASE BELIEVE ME, CAPTAIN"
Canoe begs in a shouting voice.
"Oh it seems that you require some punishment don't you Canoe?"
Captain's chilling voice makes Canoe's begging sound even louder.
"Can I go now, Captain"
I ask while not bothering to spare a second look towards Canoe.
"Are you going to get a status update??"
I maintain my silence.
*Tap*Tap*
He stands right in front of me and says in a chilly tone while looking down at me with his eyes.
"It's good to be strong but I hope you won't forget about your own place'
I keep my head low while listening to his words.
"tsk Trash"
He clicks his tongue and moves towards Canoe.
"It WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN---IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN"
I hear Canoe's painful shouts while calming down my anger as I move towards God Soma's room.
"God Soma I am here to get my status updated"
I said to God who is busy with his mixing of herbs as usual and he merely nods his head while pulling up his left hand.
*pulls off*
I take off my shirt as usual and wait as he put a cut on his finger and completes the update without even sparing a glance.
*wears back*
I wear my shirt and receive the status page from God Soma.

I look at my progress in the last 6 months and release a silent sigh.
I estimate that If I keep going at this speed then I should barely be able to reach lvl2 in another year or two if I was unlucky.
If any other adventure were to have this speed then he would be dancing in joy but I feel depressed after seeing such slow progress as I compare myself to bell who hardly took a month to reach lvl2.
He's the MC alright.
I tear the page into small pieces and throw them out of the window.
"Thank you for your hard work"
I gave a small bow towards God Soma while giving my thanks.
*tap*tap*
I get out of the dark and gloomy room and start making my way towards the front gate.
*Swish*swish*
After seeing me leave a shadow entered God Soma's room through the window while holding the scattered pieced of a status page.
The shadow holds the pieces and starts assembling them together on the floor.
*knit*
He knits his brows and frowns as he looks at the status page.
*Tap*Tap*
The shadow then makes his way towards the window as the sunlight reveals his face.
A middle-aged face with gray hair and gray-colored eyes wearing a pair of glasses reveals itself.
"William....."
Zanis Lustra mutters under his breath as a cold glint passes through his eyes.
