141 135: Shining Eyes

After another few rounds, Zagreus truly passed out, completely worn out. Meanwhile, Klein was still very much the same, he had almost everlasting stamina and an indestructible will to have fun with his beloved husband, which sometimes makes him pass out of too much fun and messing around. As he was massaging his lover's body because he surely does not need it since he cannot feel pain, he suddenly got a prayer, not a random prayer but a prayer from his son. Klein's mind went haywire, time stopped as his mind went over scenario after scenario, thinking about everything bad that may have happened.

His train, no, the chaos of his thoughts was interrupted by his groggy lover who turned his bruised body over and looked at Klein in the eye, saying: "Amando just prayed to me, and I see he prayed for you too huh? He wants me to save some statues, some people Medusa turned into stone." His voice was husky and hoarse and combining the fact that he was naked and full of kisses and bite marks all over his body, made him look even sexier in Klein's mind. "O-oh, of course, dear." Zagreus chuckled at Klein's sudden stutter and bid him farewell when he left, of course getting dressed before vanishing from sight.

The group had just run from a hoard of monsters after they attacked the bus they were in, they sadly couldn't save much since the monsters attacked the bus, there was even a dragon that set the bus on fire and it exploded! Now they were lost in the woods, somewhere in New Jersey and they never gonna make it to LA, where the entrance to the Underworld resides. They have been walking for minutes now, but soon they found a place, and the sign said: [Aunt Em's Gnome Emporium] which made Amando tense... He could feel a monster inside the place, they were all hungry and wet because of the rain, oh yeah, it was raining and the wind was blowing a lot, making them cold too.

Amando decided to warn the group, but as he opened his mouth to speak, Percy was already at the door knocking. Both he and Annabeth were stunned silent, how can someone be so stupid to the point of banging on the door of a very suspicious place! He is lucky he is cute, or else they would have been very angry with him right now, Groove sniffed the air and because of the rain he couldn't smell the monster inside the emporium, but Amando could feel it very well. He leaned over and whispered to Annabeth's ear: "There's a monster inside that building." Her grey eyes went wide and she rushed to get Percy, but when she stood beside him, ready to grab his arm, the door opened and a sweet female voice spoke: "Oh, poor children, come in come in, don't stay out in the rain! Please, come inside." This already raised another big red flag, but Percy being the lovable idiot he is, entered the emporium with no regard for his safety, making Annabeth hurry after him, which made Groover follow her, leaving Amando outside... He could only shake his head and enter after them, with pen in hand, ready to strike and kill the woman who was the monster.

As they walked inside the place, Amando spotted a statue and his body tensed immediately. He wanted to kill the monster soon, but Percy was right beside the woman and if he threw his weapon it could hit the boy, also, the woman could strike him if she knew he wanted to kill her. He sighed to release the tension in his muscles and decided to just be ready to strike whenever so he should get closer not only to protect them but also to reduce the chance of her dodging his attack and retaliating.

"Sorry miss, but we got lost..." Percy began to lie, Amando was ready to slap his head so he would shut up and not try to pretend to be human because monsters can smell Demigods, but the boy kept talking: "We walked and we found this place... Do you have a phone we can take to call our parents?" Amando could swear he could see the woman smirk, however, she had a black veil in front of her face... The statues, the black veil, and the casual sound of snakes were more than enough for Amando to find out about who this woman was! He placed his hand over Percy's shoulder and whispered in his ear: "Take a few steps back, please." As he pushed Percy away and in a fast swiping motion, attacked the monster's neck, trying to cut the head off.

He succeeded, he caught the woman by surprise, and not only her but everyone else who watched as the woman screeched and her body exploded in golden dust, leaving her head behind. Percy, who at first was stunned and shocked that Amando would attack an innocent woman was enraged, but soon he saw the body explode in gold dust and a head falling to the ground. It was then that he remembered that most monsters explode into golden dust when killed, so this good woman was a monster trying to lure them in a sense of false security so she may eat them... Or worse.

As they watched the gold dust sparkle around Amando, the light from the blinding gold dust casts a shadow, hiding his face... It gave him a mysterious air around him, and his eyes, both red and green, began to shine, which gave him a creepier yet very attractive appearance. It may have made everyone's heart skip a bit.
